Safety absolutely comes first, and I completely understand your decision not to continue traveling with the road conditions you described. You’re right that our current policy is strict when it comes to cancellations close to arrival, and I understand how, in a weather situation like this, that can feel disappointing and inflexible. The policy is in place so we can reliably staff, clean, and reserve the home for each guest, but your point about a partial refund or future credit “going a long way” is very fair. HI Ruth, Thank you for your feedback. We apologize that the unit was not up to par. I will let the owner of that unit know your feelings about the couch and tv. Each unit gets inspected and then inspected again in order to meet our extreme standards. I am thinking what you saw was discoloration from the water.
