Pointes North Inn is one of Charlevoix's unique condominium suites that book like a hotel room. Book for the condo's privacy, stay for the hospitality.

This cozy condo boasts beautiful laminate flooring in the main living areas, tile in the bathroom and kitchen, cozy carpet in the bedroom, ceiling fans and plenty of lighting. In the loft-style upstairs bedroom you will find a luxurious king-size bed, a tv with a roku remote, beautiful bedside tables, alarm clock/radio, a dresser, a walk-in closet where you will find a luggage rack and the iron and ironing board. The upstairs bathroom has a walk-in shower, separate toilet room, jet tub and a vanity for extra storage! The living room offers a comfortable queen-size sleeper sofa, a cozy arm chair, a smart tv with a roku remote, beautiful side tables, and an electric fireplace! There is dining space that seats 2 next to the built in kitchen island. The full sized kitchen boasts plenty of storage and granite countertops. There is a full sized range, a full size fridge, 12 cup coffee maker, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, tools for cooking and serving. The large downstairs bathroom offers a bathtub/shower, toilet, and a beautiful vanity that offers plenty of storage. The master bedroom displays a beautiful king size bed with a cozy retro vibe, plenty of storage and a smart tv. In the downstairs bedroom closet you will find the luggage rack, bedding for the sleeper sofa, broom and dustpan. In addition to the fabulous interior, through the sliding glass door you will find a 6 person seating and table arrangement on the balcony provides a stunning view of the Bridge! No need to worry about privacy, the curtains close fully.

We provide towels and mini soaps for your use, as well as limited daily housekeeping services.

Pointes North Inn has high-speed Wi-Fi throughout the building and coin-operated laundry on the second floor. The lobby area has seating which overlooks the heated indoor/outdoor pool. The inside section of the pool is open year-round, while the outside section is closed off October to May.

Check in was not explained properly in email. These are condos but have a hotel lobby that is open until 5. I was waiting for an email with an entry code that didn't come. Once I contacted them they did communicate quickly. Overall the room was clean but we found underwear in the bed sheets that weren't ours. They did appear clean and that they just got wrapped up in laundry but still not a good look. Jacuzzi was clean and worked properly. Cannot beat the location and they do have an indoor/outdoor pool. We didn't use it so can't speak to condition. Kitchen appeared stocked with the basics but we didn't use that either. Price was decent in my opinion for what you get and location. We would probably stay again.

Cozy, Great Location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit was cozy and clean and you can’t beat this location. The lower bedroom had no air circulation. Even though it was winter, we had AC pumping upstairs to try and help with the downstairs bedroom...but it was still very warm, which made sleeping uncomfortable. Kitchenette was very useful, but there weren’t any forks with the rest of the silverware (we donated some we bought).Access to heated pool was awesome—the kids had a blast!

Okay Accommodation with a Great Location

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall the unit is okay. $300 for one night at end of August, not open to negotiating the rate. The parking lot was mostly empty, so that all seemed odd. What I liked: location, location, location. 2 Separate spaces both with large beds. Neutral points: Upstairs loft has a jacuzzi tub in the same room as bed, I'm not a fan but I didn't use that room and my niece enjoyed the tub. Things I didn't love: Dated interior and some tired items like torn curtains. Pillows were very uncomfortable. Balcony, which is a key reason for me in choosing this unit mainly unusable as the air conditioning exhaust from the adjacent unit was blowing directly onto the balcony all of the time. Loud and unpleasant.

More good than bad

Location is fantastic. Staff was super-friendly. Room was clean. Downsides - a bit outdated, needs some TLC, cookware and dishes were pretty sparse, climate control was not good

Reviewer Comments: The room was dirty food under couch the floors are pulling apart , the tv didn’t work , I asked them to fix , never bothered to do so , the wood on deck is falling apart , the place needs painting ,they put one coffee pouch (4) cup for 5 of us we stayed 3 nights they never came back in the room to give us trash bags or anything, we had to take out our own trash, for 459 a night you would of thought they could provide something

Good location and space, some issues

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location of this rental is fantastic, right by the bridge in downtown Charlevoix. The unit was generally clean and in good shape as well, after hours check procedure went fine. The toilets, however, seem to both be having some issues, one has to be fiddled with a bit to quit the tank from running, the other had some issues with the tank overflowing during flushes.We also had an incident where through a miscommunication we accidently locked ourselves out of the room (definitely our fault). I immediately called the unit contact info and left a message with the after hours maintenance line explaining the situation. This was at 9pm on a Saturday night, and I never received a call back. Luckily we found a way to get into the room on our own, but if not we would have been screwed for the night. I was extremely disappointed that a hotel facility like this was not responsive to an emergency situation like this.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a 2 story rental for the night that was very close to the wedding venue castle farms (2.5) miles. It was a easy commute. The walls were pretty thin and you can hear ppl at night like they're in the room with you. There was a jacuzzi in the room and a balcony but we didn't have a good view it was street side. Very spacious for 4 ppl to stay in.

Great location but that’s it.

The best thing about this property is the location, right downtown we were able to walk everywhere. However the cleanliness of the property was disappointing. There was makeup on the bedsheets upon arrival, the linens were yellow (supposed to be white). The property was very dated, needed a paint job as well as new carpeting. Overall we would not stay here again.

However, the property is a bit run down and was not clean. Upon entering has a musty smell, there was makeup on the bed that was noticeable before even pulling back the sheets. The linens were yellow as though they were quite old. It could use a new paint job, carpet, and updating. The bed itself was very uncomfortable as well as the pillows, which were very flat.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a classic example of photos totally misrepresenting a property! For $400/night, we anticipated a lovely vacation rental. Instead, we got the condo from ****! It was dirty and had not been deep cleaned (think THICK dust!!), had sox under the bed, open cigarette package on fridge, torn, buckled carpet and a vomit smell by loft jaccuzzi, 3 forks and a burned on stove top, Loft TV that went on at 2 a.m. when we'd never touched the remotes, dim mercury -filled spiral bulbs, a fridge that froze our food, and furnishings that were very tired and, we suspect in need of cleaning, like the rest of this condo. Luckily, our manager, Keith resolved our complaints and moved us to another, very nice Creekside Condo, for the same price and waived a number of fees. This property should be removed from the rental group's listings.

Overall, wonderful location, very nice staff, nice pool but the room we were in needs updating terribly and the carpet was very stained. I would come again but not in that suite.
