Wonderful stay, great location, clean and everything was as promised. Great communication. The added surprise was the provided drinking water. Nice touch. Outside shower was great for rinsing/washing dive gear.

The property is amazing, all you could want in a vacation home. Best of all is the personal attention by the staff. Kind, respectful and a joy to be around. My family will absolutely return to Anguilla and stay at this property.

Great Place for a Quiet Beach Vacation

Lovely home. Very quiet, well accommodated. Nadia was very helpful with logistics and suggestions. Do be aware that the property does not have an ocean view. As correctly stated, access to the best beach on the island (Shoal Bay) is a 5 minute walk away. Anguilla itself was a wonderful experience.

Welcoming

From the moment we left the airport proper and meeting Nadia in arrivals we felt well taken care of and welcomed!! Our accommodations were perfectly located, well appointed and accessible to— well everywhere. The team that made up our bungalow daily were thorough and very kind. What a lovely stay- we dearly hope to see you again soon!!

Absolutely Perfect

My husband and I rented the cottage to celebrate our honeymoon. Jerdell and the staff at Bellamare were WONDERFUL. The property is beautiful, clean, and situated on such a lovely part of the island. We are already planning our trip back and will absolutely be staying at Bellamare again.

A quiet retreat

The property is part of a gated community. The grounds are well kept and peaceful. We had a nice breeze and a lovely view. It was a quick walk to the water though we could not access the beach, because the tide was always high. Once we rented a car we gained mobility to some beautiful beaches and fun bars. The property manager was helpful with getting a rental car, finding a dive shop, and giving advice on places to visit. If you are looking for a calm, relaxing atmosphere to get away from it all, this is your place.

Lovely & romantic cottage on a beautiful estate

We celebrated our 3rd anniversary at LaVanda cottage on the Bellamare Estate. From the first communication to the goodbye wave, we had a 5 star experience. Kelita and Jerdell were among the most welcoming, genuine and helpful hosts that we have the pleasure to meet. Any question or need was met quickly, efficiently and with a warm smile. The sweet cottage is updated and had everything we needed for a perfect vacation. There is a beautiful private little courtyard in the back and colorful gardens surrounding the property. We enjoyed relaxing on the front porch enjoying our coffee and the hummingbirds and butterflies. This is probably the best situated estate on Shoal Bay East, having access to the beach with a short path and then a little further walk to beach bars and restaurants. The sea is achingly gorgeous with all the colors of blue I have ever seen and the reef just in front of the estate is the best snorkeling on Anguilla. I wholeheartedly recommend the LaVanda cottage as well as the main house which we had the opportunity to tour and the hospitality of the hosts can't be beat. Thank you Bellamare Team! We will be back!

I visited Anguilla in 2006 for the first time and moved here is 2010. My favorite beaches have been Shoal Bay east, Crocus Bay and Sandy Ground. Shoal Bay has the most beautiful beach, but I'm also partial to Crocus Bay, as I lived there for many years and enjoy Da'Vida restaurant on the beach. I frequent Sandy Ground with my husband and b/g twins and thoroughly enjoy this sleepy village.
