Maui Vista #1-301 is a 1 bedroom, 1 bath unit on the third floor with a partial ocean view. It has a fully equipped kitchen, room unit A/C in both the living room and bedroom, flat screen TV, and free wifi. Telephone with answering machine provides local and long-distance calls to the continental US and Canada. Washer and dryer in the unit. There is a queen bed and a queen sofa bed with a chaise lounge. For outdoor activities, Maui Vista #1-301 is supplied with beach chairs, beach towels, and a cooler. Sleeps 4.
Same-day bookings and those arriving within 48 hours of making the reservation require a phone call to Rentals Maui for confirmation.
Longer stays require additional terms and conditions. Please contact Rentals Maui for inquiries longer than 60 nights.
Maui Vista has 3 pool areas for your enjoyment as well as six tennis courts and 3 newly striped pickle ball courts,. There are also barbecue areas on the property for your use. The pool nearest building #1 is a saltwater pool and all pools are available to all guests. Maui Vista is within walking distance of shops and restaurants and all of the Kamaole Beaches. It is a short drive to the championship golf courses of Wailea and Makena and also the Wailea Tennis Club.
Just cross South Kihei Road and you are on the world-renowned Kamaole Beach 1 also known as Charlie Young's Beach. Whale watch, paddle board, walk miles of sandy beach, and see the most magnificent sunsets imaginable.

Pleasantly surprised
First time in Kihei after 30 times in West Maui. Great beaches were a three minute walk across the street from condo complex. Unit was fully stocked and located at the side end affording more privacy. Would return again.

Amazing Thanksgiving Trip
We planned a quick 4 day trip over Thanksgiving. Condo was great! Had all the cooking supplies we needed. We grilled our dinner. Couch folded out into a bed for the kids. AC worked great and ceiling fans were such a nice touch. The unit had beach chairs and a nice cooler with ice packs. Kids loved the comfy couch. We can’t wait to plan our next trip.

Location is literally perfect - right across the street from the beach, plenty of restaurants/bars within a 15min or less walking distance. My only complaint is that the floors were extremely dirty (leftover sand/dirt from last visitors) - I ended up cleaning the floors myself as I couldn’t handle it. While it is a bit of an older unit, they have upgraded some appliances and the A/C unit keeps it nice and cool. I don’t know why the other reviews complain about it being “barely beach view” - you can most definitely see the ocean and it’s gorgeous to sit on the lanai and watch the sunset. Overall we enjoyed our stay, it was nice and once again - location was perfect. Would recommend to anyone looking for a cozy, affordable, enjoyable stay!

Almost Perfect
We really enjoyed our stay. The property was very clean and had all essentials. the check in and check out directions were clear and easy to follow. The location was perfect- just across from a beautiful beach. The bed and sleeping sofa were comfortable. The only issue that we had was the AC unit in the bedroom- it was too loud and kept waking us up at night. The AC in the living room was much better.

An extended check out time
An extended check out would have been helpful with our flight not leaving until 10:45 pm 11 our after our check out. We tried to pay for one more day but were unsuccessful, it was a good stay other than that.

10 day stay at Maui Vista
The property was everything we hoped for. Very clean, felt safe, and the location is perfect, right across Charley Young beach. Tons of good restaurants and stores all within walking distance. Our room had everything supplied for having fun down at the beach, including umbrellas, chairs, coolers, and boogeyboard. It was clean, with a kitchen stocked with everything needed for an extended stay. The Maui vista pool is small, but still worth using if you have small kids who don’t swim in the ocean. Would happily rebook here again.

Great location, a bit dated
Location was great and the unit was clean and very well stocked with cooking utensils, basic pantry items and beach equipment. The furnishings are somewhat dated and could use a refresh. Specifically, the bedsheets are old and pilling; they should be replaced, as should the bed pillows. Note that the keyless entry, while convenient during our stay, would NOT let us into the unit before 4pm, even though the housekeeper had finished cleaning the apartment long before that time. We were tired after a long day’s travel and it would have been nice to get into the unit sooner rather than having to sit in the parking lot waiting for 4pm to arrive. Other than that, we had no qualms with the place and enjoyed our stay.

Super easy check in process which was appreciated as we arrived after midnight. Right across the street from Kam 1. Lots of parking, enjoyed the tennis courts. Clean and equipped with everything you need for the beach and in the kitchen. Highly recommend!
