Este delicioso refúgio de montanha, localizado em 19,5 hectares nas Montanhas Leatherwood (um código de desenvolvimento equestre fechado é Ferguson, mas fica a cerca de 16 quilômetros de distância), é o local perfeito para uma escapadela romântica ou uma reunião familiar especial. Nossa casa é muito espaçosa e bem decorada com móveis Bob Timberlake e Charleston Forge misturados com antiguidades e tapetes orientais. Cada quarto tem vista para a montanha Grandfather e a vista é de 180 'para as montanhas Blue Ridge.

Cada um dos três quartos tem seu próprio banheiro privado (dois dos banhos têm banheira de hidromassagem - o banheiro principal tem um chuveiro separado também). Dois dos quartos (incluindo a suíte King Master e um quarto queen-size) e o loft com um sofá-cama queen-size estão no segundo andar. A suíte master ainda tem uma lareira a gás. Há um terceiro quarto no primeiro andar com uma cama queen-size.



A sala Grande possui uma lareira a lenha de 24 pés em pedra do campo do Tennessee e janelas e portas triplas para aproveitar a vista. Beautiful Getaway in the Mountains
This property is exactly as advertised and better! We enjoyed are escaped into the mountains and loved sitting on the deck watching the sunset and enjoying coffee in the mornings. Meda was very responsive to any questions we had and a fabulous host. We will definitely be back!

It's perfect for a mountain get away. Beautiful sunsets out back every evening. Home is beautiful and well cared for. Communication with owner was great. And there were fireflies!!!

Fantastic house with stellar views in a great neighborhood
Our group highly recommends this lovely home! It was spotless and well stocked with everything you could possibly need. Beds were extremely comfortable. The furnishings were of high quality, and the decor created a warm and inviting atmosphere. Every room had its own unique charm. Excellent communication from the owner, Meda, with very clear and easy check in and check out information. We hope to stay again!

Mountain Retreat
Lovely private home! Great views of surrounding mountains from the back deck and hot tub. We specifically looked for a dog friendly home for our family getaway and this was perfect. The back deck is enclosed so our pups could have space to run. Great communication with the owners for any questions. This property is well maintained with many extras not often found in a rental.

Getaway Turned Engagement Weekend
This property was nothing short of amazing. It had everything we needed, and the view was very majestic. Watching the sunset behind the mountain was breathtaking. We needed this getaway and the view along with the sunset encouraged me to propose to my now fiancé. It was everything that the owner said it would be and more. The communication was great and couldn't ask for more. We will be back!!!

Exceptional in Every Way
This property is exceptional inside and out. We loved being in the gated community. It was so secure. We were there for a week and only saw another car twice. The properties are expansive so it was nice and secluded which is what we look for. The long distance views are among the best we’ve had at a rental in this area. This property had everything inside a guest could ask for. We cooked all but two of our meals in and the kitchen is wonderfully stocked. The openness of the cabin assures that while I was cooking I could also be a part of what my family was doing in the living space. Lastly, Meda is exceptional to work with. She was easy to communicate with and made sure we had everything we needed before our arrival. We are looking forward to staying here again and again!

Wonderful!
Other reviews are correct in stating that entering this rental is like entering a home.....and in some cases even more so. From the small appliances to even the ceiling fans everything is top notch. Dishes and silverware beyond the number that a renter would need. It is obvious that this is not meant to be "just" a rental. I am sure that the owner has, and does, enjoyed many a family event at this wonderful house (I just cannot call it "a cabin"). Interactions with the owner are quick and like talking to a friend. It is my hope to return again and again! Thanks Meda!!!!!!

Relaxing and Beautiful Cabin
This was our 1st family vacation and we couldn’t have stayed at a better place! Meda Cobb was wonderful providing an easy check in and and helpful information before our stay. The cabin was clean and well stocked. I highly recommend and we will be back!

Grand Get-Away
This home really does have everything. Meda clearly loves this home and takes excellent care of it. It is the most well-stocked home we have ever stayed in, and our family has a long history of renting vacation homes. If you need it, chances are it will be there. Spectacular views from the back porch, the screened porch, the HOT TUB! As others have indicated, I cannot stress enough, that this home is out there. It's a beautiful piece of earth and everything is worth it. If you're looking to really "get away from it all" - this is definitely the home for you. Thank you, Meda! We will keep this home at the top of our To-Return list!

Wonderful!
This home is lovely. Walking in the door it felt like coming home. Every time I felt like I needed something, it was there. We enjoyed the fireplace, the tree, the deck, the view, the trails....well just everything. You could easily host a houseful here as the kitchen was so well stocked with dishes, glasses, serving pieces and really nice cook ware. We re only three and a grand puppy. But we were oh so comfortable. It did not feel like we were in a rental. It felt like we were in home that someone loved. We truly enjoyed our pre Christmas visit.

Perfect Christmas Cabin
My husband & our dog LOVED our stay at this charming cabin! The views were incredible and the decor was perfect. The wood-burning fireplace and the Christmas tree made for a perfect getaway during the holiday season. The kitchen had every gadget you need so we were able to make Christmas cookies while enjoying the peace and quiet of the mountains. The host was super communicative and helpful. We would definitely book at this cabin again!!

Favorite Cabin!
My family tries to go somewhere different in the mountains of NC and Tennessee every fall. We all agree this is by far our favorite cabin. You could not ask for a nicer or well organized host. We had no issues but I have no doubts if we would have had any she would have fixed it asap. The cabin is beautiful and has everything you could possibly need for your stay. The little framed notes (how to work different things around the house) are just reminders of the extra steps the host takes to make your stay easy and relaxing. And the view from the porch is just breath taking. It’s feels like a home and not rental. 100% can’t wait to stay again!

Wind down and relax
If you are looking for a vacation home to get away from “it all “then this is the place! although it’s a good hour away from a decent grocery store, it’s all worth it to find this special setting on over 19 acres overlooking the mountains. At first I wondered since the homeless in a gated community that it could be busy, but that was far from the truth. We walked our dogs 50 times and I believe we saw five or six cars!! if it is important to be close to grocery stores and restaurants then this isn’t the place for you. The kitchen was stacked with every amenity that you would need. A gas stove top and electric oven is a cook’s delight. All the bedrooms were nicely appointed and a new hot tub allowed for even more relaxation at sunset. Our host was very responsive to any questions or concerns! Clearly they are home as a special sanctuary for them as well and it was great they could share it with us!! Thank you again!! Bonnie and Mike

Relax and recharge in this amazing mountain home
Taking a yearly trip to NC with the family has become a tradition and we always stay at different places each year. By far this has been the BEST! It’s quiet, relaxing, comfortable, and has the best view! The sunsets were breathtaking! The house has everything you need and the owners are the kindest and easiest to work with. If you’re looking for a place to relax and recharge, this is it! It is a little far away from everything but it’s the perfect place if you just want to get away from it all. Normally when we return home we start looking for a place to stay for our next trip to NC, but we will most definitely be returning here next year!

We have rented several cabins in the past, and have enjoyed all the particular amenities and views that came with them, but this one had greatly exceeded our expectations. The cabin was exceptionally inviting, from its cleanliness, to the supplies and conveniences, to the huge patio that overlooked the top of the mountains. Wanting to get away from "city life" and back to nature, this was the perfect location! Deer siting's were almost a daily occurrence, and a black bear crossed our driving path as we exited "Leatherwood" one evening. This was the perfect spot for us to "decompress" enjoy the calm and quiet and appreciate the beauty that still surrounds us. Thank you Meda for this wonderful memory making opportunity and for all you do to ensure your guests will have such an outstanding experience while there1

You can't get much better!
FABULOUS place, with an owner who is exceptional about questions! EVERY little detail thought out! Sooo welcoming and cozy with a great kitchen, comfy beds and lots of space to chill and enjoy the beautiful scenery. We are going back next year!
