Summer Salt is a beautiful home with a great charm. There are gorgeous views of the ship channel. The balcony is a wonderful place to relax on with a morning cup of coffee. Summer Salt has a wonderful open floor plan....great for entertaining. Direc TV offers a variety of movie channels. The kitchen offers an open floor plan. Wake up and have a cup of coffee using the keurig. There is seating at the dining room for six and a kitchen bar that seats four additional. The living area includes a pull out sleeper sofa. There is a flat screen television. Summer Salt's master bedroom offers a queen size bed with a private bath. The guest bedroom offers a plush queen size bed and shares a bathroom with the bunkroom. The bunk bedroom houses a twin over full bunk bed with a twin trundle. There are flat screen televisions in every bedroom. The second bathroom is very spacious. Summer Salt is beautifully furnished with all new furniture. City of Port Aransas Registration: 258069

Excellent Stay
Great house and location. Would be a tight fit for 10 people but for seven adults we were able to all sleep comfortably. Dining area great for meals and game playing at night. Pool area is fantastic!! When contacting rental management the individuals were friendly and helpful. Addressed minor issue we had with garbage immediately.

Very nice place to stay to have access to everything. Golf cart was a plus. Definitely be back!
Everything was clean & neat. Great location for everything. Golf cart kept us out of our personal vehicle the entire time. Even in rainy weather this house let us have a great weekend. Pool was awesome to have since it rained. Allowed us to grill & swim.

Port A - Summer Salt - Family Vaca
We had such a great stay! Loved the house, Porch in the evenings, Location was great not too far from beach. Our stay - the house was cleaned well and supplies for essentials were good. The Kitchen was Well stocked with dishes, plates, cups, utensils, mixing and serving items, pots, pans, blender, coffee maker, microwave - I was impressed with how well stocked all was for our use. Make sure you bring pool towels as you will be using the pool quite a bit as it was very relaxing and clean when we were there. They even had spare floaties for pool, now the condition of some of the floats were well used but really nice that we didn't need to blow all of ours up. Now- I am gonna say that the beds are comfortable Full size not Queens as they stated as the bedrooms are on the small size -but, not a deal breaker. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this place to our friends!!

Working Amenities are Key!
My second time renting this location. The first time only issue was our golf cart broke down twice. Was hopeful that wasn't gonna happen again, but once again golf cart broke at around 3:50 pm on Saturday. So i was stranded at the house had to wait for a family member to come get me to make it back to the beach front. I was told it would be an hour wait. No one came!..had to wait till Sunday morning for our replacement. The other problem we had was the dryer would not dry our clothes or towels!..and hanging our towels on the balcony was a bit difficult due to the high winds during the weekend. Although we love lay out and enjoy pool area for after beach, the fire pit would have been nice to use on chilly evening by the pool if it was working!!! We rememberit was one of our favorites last time renting. So, for 1,600$ I would definitely expect all these amenities to be in working order.And should be checked between renters to ensure satisfied customers. Last thing I want to don on my vacation is call and call for repairs! Which is the reason for my 3 star rating.

Wonderful home with many amenities
Overall, we loved this home and enjoyed our stay. Pros: Clean, well equipped home, on a cul de sac with quiet neighbors(mostly rental). Brand new green pan brand pots and pans, keurig coffee machine, enough dishes. Golf cart included. Short drive to the beach. The pool is very nice. Basic Washer/dryer. Cons: There were quite a few hiccups but all of our issues were satisfactorily resolved. After-hours number and property manager during the day available and responsive though few phone calls back and forth needed.

Amazing
We had a family of 10 stay comfortable here. The house was very clean with no issues. The pool was beautiful and we really enjoyed our stay. We also really loved having a golf cart available with our stay that was probably the best part!!

Stinky mold house with horrible property mgmt
First the property mgmt SUCKS they were horrible with the process from the start. I checked in 55 mins late because they never sent me the welcome package . I physically had to drive to their office to get my welcome info. While there the office was completely empty of customers. No reason for there tardiness. They when I finally got access to open the door the house reeked of moldy sent. Very gross. Last beds are rock hard and very springy loud. I would not recommend.

Beach and Birds
We really enjoyed our stay in Port A. Sunrise on the beach, between G Street and the jetty, and sunset at the Birding Center are pretty hard to beat. Food and drinks at Lelo’s and Back Porch/Harbor Lights and crab cakes at Tortuga’s recommended highly.

Some bad, some good
Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Pool was great and very nice. Property was close to town. The "trundle beds" were mattresses on the floor shoved under the bed and the rooms were so small you didn't even have space to pull them out so they were pointless. The washer didn't always add water to the load so would just agitate your dry clothes, the dryer took anywhere from 3-6 hours to dry your clothes. The cleaning crew was still there when we arrived, not only were they not wearing masks but the man wasn't even wearing a shirt. Strongly recommend packing your own Clorox wipes and Lysol. The Keurig was disgusting and not usable, it had so much mold floating in the reservoir. Our golf cart did not work. I will say that we didn't try it until the last day and as soon as I let the rental company know about it they were sending someone out so their response time was very fast. When I went into the office to pick up the keys the first day no one was wearing masks working at the desk.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our first time renting a home in Port A. We loved having our own pool and grill. The house was clean and spacious enough for the six of us. Some of the cookware needs to be replaced and there wasn’t any type griddle or flat pan to make pancakes but we improvised! The small dresser drawers in the master closet were a little rickety but got the job done! Having the golf cart made things so much easier so that was an added bonus. The management company and the golf rental staff were excellent. I would not hesitate to rent this home again.

Pool was great, house was in good condition. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: There was NO VACATION STAY ... due to Hurricane Harvey we were unable to make the trip and now the Island of Port Aransas is closed to anyone traveling to the island unless you are a resident. I have been trying to contact someone, anyone to reschedule my trip or get my money back and NO ONE Can give me any information regarding my concerns ... I would really appreciate some answers.

Summer vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family was very satisfied with this rental. It was very spacious, and well stocked. Huge TV in the living room. And the A/C worked great! All rooms were very comfortable. Parking space was awesome! Gave us room to have friends over for a BBQ. Port Aransas pool is right next door and is awesome! (This has nothing to do with the rental, but just a heads up for people traveling to Port A) Unfortunately, the mosquitos were like nothing I have ever seen before!! We didn't spend much time outside because of this. Even when using deep woods mosquito spray, they would continue to attack! We even bought 2 cans of yard guard and treated the yard and that did nothing at all. If you plan on visiting Port A anytime this summer, please find things you can do inside because these bugs make it difficult to be outside. Good thing, is they are not at the beach.

Well furnished with comfortable beds. There were plenty of room for all of us. The neighborhood was quite and peaceful. We meet new friends that were our neighbors and who invited us over to swim in there pool with them. We will be coming back for sure. As far as the Property Management the staff was helpful especially when we had the power outage the first night and help with everything we needed. Thank you Luann for your help you were awesome.
