Listing shows location further away from train than actual location
I booked this non refundable location for a stay within same week of booking and host immediately messaged on chat that location was not as depicted in pin drop. Within 24 hours I accessed true address on google earth and realized location is such that apartment building backs to train. I would have never booked this location as in the middle of cancer treatments and need lots of rest. I messaged host that I had to request full refund as not approving of true location and accuracy of listing and requested cancellation with full reimbursement (I booked on false pretense multiple blocks away from train). Host refused reimbursement . We cancelled trip and host refused reimbursement after falsifying location. Very disappointed that host would not rectify situation. What a scam!! Phone number listed for host is a fake number also as error message every time called . vRBO tried to contact host for 5 straight days and they would not reply to call or email. We did not stay so I cannot rate check in or cleanliness factually but forced a rating to submit.

Perfect SoCal Locale
Super clean resort feel. Perfect location just north of San Diego. 15-30 minutes to all local attractions and only 90 minutes to LA and Anaheim. 10 minutes to beach and 8 to SeaWorld. Property management was amazing and attentive. Will likely return.

Bad Host and Terrible Location
The pics of the place are accurate so no worries on the inside. The reason there are no outdoor pics is because it's right next to a commuter train line. Starting at 6am each morning, the train horn starts blaring every 10 mins. No parking pass was left. Sewer flies in bathroom. Clogged sink in bathroom. Called host for these issues, they couldnt take care of them until next day. I reminded them their own warning said my car would be towed if I didn't use it. So I needed it as I had a rental. I called Vrbo since they claim 24 hr service. They didn't help. They said they will call them tomorrow at 8am. Why? Because by 9pm (arrival), they were off duty and were back at 8am. Thanks Vrbo! It's not in the best of neighborhoods but there is a police station across the street and a great donut shop. The other issue was the construction right next to the train. They come at night lights flashing and laying black top. Cheap toilet paper and towels. Shampoo/conditioner/body wash were in a dispenser and all 3 were the exact same so I'm not sure if they were all shampoo? Fridge didn't cool even when cranked all the way. Freezer did work. They didn't offer a credit or refund for our stay. They offered a credit of 1 day if I should stay at any of their other properties in the future of at least 3 days! I should have known during the pre-stay period that their lack of responses. Vrbo didn't assist in any way. Not using again.
