WORST TRIP OF OUR LIVES
I don't have space to type up everything that was wrong with this stay but I have details & photos/videos for whoever. A huge thing for us was that we went back & forth with the owners re dock space & were assured that our boat would fit, as we were having it driven down from orange beach. That was a lie & there were 2 yachts taking up all dock space. We were told we had permission to dock on the side of the blue yacht until they could get a boat moved, come to find out later that we did not. House had curtains falling off the wall, holes punched in doors, kitchen cabinets falling out, framing on glass sliders coming off, not one single pot to cook in (used a skillet for pasta), only 5 cups & a few pieces of silverware, laundry door fell off into the other moms head when opened, flooring is just laid down on top of the floor by the laundry & one of the primary bedrooms (gaps in flooring & not connected to ground), bathtubs were nasty, wifi pw was not given in welcome email & there was no welcome binder with it listed & when we messaged them for the pw, it did not work (they got it fixed the next day). 1st morning a city official knocked asking for the owner & told me he was taping a notice to the door & mailing it to the owners as well (they have a court date April 9 so hopefully they still own the house after that). The 2nd night, cops came around back with guns pointed at our husbands b/c the owners had said 3 guys matching their description were breaking in (out of room).
