A stylish new build. Enjoy stunning mountain views, a fully enclosed garden, and private parking. Perfect for families, this cozy retreat is ideal for hiking, cycling, exploring the area’s iconic trails and historic towns. 5-min drive to Buxton centre, with easy access to Chatsworth House, Mam Tor, and more. Your peaceful countryside escape awaits!
Living Spaces:
Step into a spacious and inviting living room, featuring three luxurious sofas and a Smart LED TV—perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring the Peak District.
Kitchen/Diner:
The large, modern kitchen/diner is fully equipped with everything you need, including an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, and dishwasher. Enjoy meals together at the dining table, which comfortably seats six.
Bedrooms:
This cottage sleeps up to six guests across three thoughtfully designed bedrooms:
Master Bedroom: A king-size bed with an en-suite shower room for added privacy and convenience.
Second Bedroom: A cozy double bed, ideal for couples or solo travelers.
Third Bedroom: A bunk bed, perfect for children or an additional guest.
Bathrooms:
The property features a master bathroom with modern bath/shower facilities, as well as a convenient cloakroom for added comfort.
Outside Space:
Step outside to discover an enclosed side garden on either side of the cottage—perfect for pets or children to play safely. The property also offers off-road parking for one car in front of the garage, plus plentiful free roadside parking for additional vehicles. The garden also got the dining facilities for six people to enjoy the sunshine.
Guest access:
The entire home is exclusively for guests' use. There is space to park two cars conveniently in front of the garage, and ample roadside parking is also available nearby.
Please note that the cottage accommodates a maximum of six guests, with bedding provided for six people only.
Access to the cottage is via a key stored in a secure lockbox. Detailed instructions for entry will be emailed to you prior to your arrival.
Hillhead Cottage is dog-friendly! We welcome up to two well-behaved, house-trained dogs. Owners are responsible for supervising their pets at all times. Please note that dogs must remain downstairs and are not permitted on furniture or beds. Any damages caused by pets will incur additional charges.
Interaction with guests
There is a lock mounted on compound wall just outside. Code will be sent by email just before the arrival date.
Guests can contact us by phone / text between 8 AM to 8 PM.

Our property is conveniently located with regular bus services operated by High Peak Buses (Route 185) from Buxton Town Centre. The bus stop is just a 5-minute walk from the cottage. For the latest timetable, please search online for "High Peak Buses 185."
The cottage is situated in a quiet residential area, so we kindly ask guests to maintain low noise levels at all times to respect the neighborhood.
Please note that parties and gatherings are strictly prohibited. Smoking is also not allowed anywhere on the property. Guests who fail to comply with these rules will be required to leave immediately and may incur additional charges for any damages or disturbances caused.
Hillhead Cottage welcomes dogs; however, they must be house-trained and supervised by their owner. A maximum of two dogs is allowed, and any damages will incur a charge.
