O local perfeito para desfrutar da sua estadia na Cidade Velha e de suas muitas atividades, La Perla é uma casa de hóspedes / adobe privada no histórico bairro da Cidade Velha de Albuquerque. Cuidadosamente restaurada após anos de negligência, essa propriedade é conveniente para restaurantes, museus, galerias e lojas. Para nossa alegria, os hóspedes costumam descrever La Perla como um lar longe de casa, com o charme do sudoeste e as conveniências modernas.

A casita acomoda até 2 adultos e 2 crianças com uma cama queen-size no quarto e sofá-cama na sala de estar. Aproveite o encantador pátio durante os meses de clima quente; Tome um copo de vinho do Novo México enquanto relaxa em frente à convidativa lareira a gás kiva da sala no inverno. Pisos de tijolos, teto levemente abobadado, além de um banco tradicional, espaço para 4 pessoas e um sofá confortável completam a sala de estar.
O quarto tem uma entrada no pátio, colchão de pelúcia queen-size, cômoda, armário e chuveiro. A cozinha está totalmente equipada com cafeteira, micro-ondas e lavadora / secadora (mas sem lava-louças.) O serviço de limpeza é fornecido a cada duas semanas para estadias prolongadas.
Além do pátio que é compartilhado com a unidade da frente (geralmente os proprietários), há um pequeno pátio privativo na cozinha para desfrutar da xícara de café ou chá da manhã.

A lovely place with a very appropiate name. Location is perfect for a scroll to the plaza, a lot of supplies, clean and great outdoor space.

Fantastic Stay
La Perla was just right for my sister and I! It is an adorable casita that is perfectly appointed, clean, and in a great location in Old Town. Arlene, the host, and Rob, the owner, are fantastic. Arlene checked in regularly to make sure we had everything we needed. Communication was easy, and they were flexible when we wanted to extend our stay by a day. The gate and door are accessed with a code, so it was nice not worrying about a key (though it is an option). The house is across a parking lot from the entrance to the Old Town shopping plaza and historic San Felipe Neri Catholic Church. The couch pulls out into a bed so the casita could technically sleep 4, but it’s much more comfortable for 2. There is one bathroom with a small shower (not enough room to shave your legs, for reference). A few toiletries were set out in case we forgot something (shampoo, toothbrush, personal wipes, etc.). The house is on a septic, so don’t flush anything except TP and the stuff that goes in the toilet. The kitchen has every tool you need for cooking and there is a washer and dryer (bring your own soap). Full size fridge, microwave and lovely gas stove. The patio and courtyard are beautiful, and the resident yellow lab was good company outside in the evenings. My sister and I loved our stay and I would book La Perla again!

Great location & private patio area
We stayed a week in this little unit and it was perfect for 2 adults. Very clean, with comfortable beds, a quiet neighborhood, and easy walk to Old Town, shops, museums, and cafes. There is a desk area and strong internet connection making working remotely an option if needed. There is a private back seating area with views of sunflowers to enjoy your morning coffee and watch all the birds and butterflies - we saw hummingbirds, goldfinch and many others! There is a larger private front patio with plenty of seating to relax and visit. Grocery store is a short drive away. Checking-in and out was easy and the owner was friendly and helpful when needed. We would definitely stay here again!

Great stay
Everything was exactly as described and then some. A comfortable casita in a quiet location. Rob, the owner, gave us quite a lot of information about all of New Mexico. If I am ever in Albuquerque again I will certainly try to book La Perla.

An outstanding Old Town Albuquerque lodging experience!
La Perla casita is a gem, hands down the best short-term rental experience I've ever had. The casita is charming and set up with everything anyone could want. The host really just thought of everything! I was comfortable, cozy, and felt like I was coming home everytime I opened the front door of the casita. It welcomed me with open arms. And speaking of welcoming. The owner, Rob, is a delightful, friendly man who I am delighted to have met in person. We had some lovely conversations and I look forward to seeing him again. And of course I must mention the sweet yellow Lab named Agatha. What a sweetie! So nice to have a furry friend around. I was also lucky to meet the manager, Arlene, in person. She's friendly and welcoming and a pleasure to deal with. Bottom line, I will be back. And that's a promise.

It doesn’t get any better!
This was a dream VRBO. The property is incredibly well prepared. If you need it, it’s there. They thought of everything. The patio was WONDERFUL!!! Extremely well maintained and Rob shared some veggies from his backyard garden. We had a few friends over during our 2 week stay for coffee or wine on the patio. Agatha, the very mellow lab, that hangs out on the patio was great ! The unit itself was very clean, quiet and comfortable. The bed VERY comfy. The kitchen was well equipped. And the living room was inviting. Any needs we had during our 2 week stay were addressed kindly, quickly and professionally. The property is very safe and secure. A beautiful park is located with-in one block. Charming Old Town Albuquerque with great shops and eateries is almost in your backyard. We have stayed at several vacation rentals and this tops the list. We are already planning me next visit.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Will definitely stay again, next time we visit Albuquerque. The property was safe and secure with easy access to Old Town. The patio space was well kept and a great place to sit, relax and hang out. Any issues were handled quickly and efficiently by the host.

Amazing
Very cute and cozy house, down the street from sawmill. The sawmill, dinosaur museum, science museum are just a short walk through a beautiful park. Loved staying there!

Perfect casita!
Checks every box for a five star casita in Old Town. Great location, well appointed, beautiful and private courtyard, comfortable bed, and an awesome host (Rob). The thermostat controlled fireplace was a very nice touch. Will definitely stay again!

Perfect Place & Host!
What a great find! Property was so nice and homey and very clean! with many extras like varieties of coffees and creamers, extra towels and box tissues, beautiful gas fireplace! and a comfy bed! The outdoor patio was very serene and secure! Such a pleasure meeting the host, Rob and his two fur babies! Such a kind man! and his dogs were so sweet and welcoming to my dog Max! Best host ever!!
The location was perfect for shopping, museum, park. Cute little casita that accommodated 3 sisters. Rob, the host and owner that lives in the main house was johnny on the spot for anything we needed. He even shared a social hour with snacks and wonderful conversation on the patio one evening. I would definitely stay here for any return visits. He is currently in the process of updating the furniture. Go to Lowe’s Country Market on Lomas and 11 Street for your full service grocery needs. It is just a little over a mile away. I believe airport is under 6 miles away.

Comfortable and Safe: Great Location
We so much enjoyed staying at this property. It's overall comfort, it's tucked-awayness, its closeness to so many things to do… The property is truly nice, comfortable, and safe. It is clean and in all, shows pride with excellent appointed features decorated throughout the home. Because it was most tasteful we were comfortable and felt safe. Rob was truly approachable and kind. Thank you sincerely! What topped it off was your genuine kindness not to mention Agueda’s (the property’s mascot—an aged labrador) consistent welcomes, morning, day, and night. What-a-treat. The owners are pleasant and welcoming. Casita is small but larger than it appears in the pictures. Great streaming and WIFI service. Off street parking and security gate allowed us to relax and enjoy our stay. Outside patio area was inviting. We appreciated the new washer and dryer.

Great Balloon Weekend!
Phyllis & Rob were wonderful hosts! The vrbo is exactly as listed, great location and within walking distance to many restaurants and shops. They were quick on communication and super helpful with local recommendations. Would highly recommend staying at their place!

La Perla was just perfect
Yes. La Perla was just perfect. The space was exactly as advertised. Location is the very best for exploring Old Town and local museums by foot. Accommodations were just right for my little dog and myself. Honestly, we could not have asked for a better vacation experience. Thank you La Perla. Truly hope to see you again soon. Absolutely delightful stay in Old Town
I could not have had a better experience. Beautiful casita within walking distance of anything in Old Town. The hosts were attentive and knowledgeable about Albuquerque. Lovely evening chats in private courtyard. Would go back in a minute.

Tiny but wonderful
The casita is a gem! What originally sold us about the unit was the enclosed court yard...perfect for our dog , Banks, and for drinks in the afternoon. The kitchen had all the necessities when we wanted to cook at home. The bed was comfy, but be prepared...the shower is small! My 6'3" husband needed to duck to enter! The location is walking distance to all of Old Town, with wonderful restaurants, coffee shops and shops. Most importantly, Phyllis and Rob are great hosts! So friendly and helpful..and patient with Banks! We hope to have the opportunity to stay there in the future! Thanks Phyllis and Rob!

Por que motivo escolheu este alojamento?

The Rispoli family moved a great deal and while Tempe, Arizona was our base we lived in Palo Alto, CA, Minneapolis, Durango, CO, Greenville, SC AND Albuquerque. As Tempe and the Phoenix area grew, we decided it was the right time to relocate to a smaller city and a less stressful lifestyle. One day, while on a business trip to Albuquerque, Rob noticed a for sale sign being pounded into the ground in front of a just-renovated Old Town property. He stopped, greeted the owner, went inside, called Phyllis and the rest as they say is history! We love our property and want you to feel as comfortable and relaxed as we do everyday when we greet the day. Come stay with us and enjoy the very best of our town in old town...!

Quais são os elementos especiais deste alojamento?

You can park your car and walk from La Perla to the Old Town Plaza, 3 museums District, and the Sawmill Marketplace. It's only a 2-3 minute walk (really) to Tiguex Park, or the Old Town Plaza with its 200 year-old church, gazebo, restaurants and shopping. You'll find amazing SW and Native American jewelry. Caution: If the prices and too good to be true, that's a tipoff that it's probably not authentic!

Our guest book lists favorite New Mexican restaurants, local cafes, and fine dining. The Sawmill Marketplace is a very cool food hall with 20+ vendors and lots of outdoor dining in the warmer months.

The Summer months offer live music venues around the Old Town neighborhood. We are one mile from the Bio-Park's Aquarium and Botanical Gardens. Only an hour's drive to Santa Fe, you can also hop on the 'Railrunner' in downtown and enjoy a leisurely trip at a reasonable price.
