Quiet, peaceful, safe and at walking distance to the main attractions of this beautiful city which I visited six times already, but first time stayed at Vila Rodrigues, thanks to Expedia.

Everything about this property was perfect. The communication was excellent, the area was perfect for walking, shopping, exploring, etc. The property itself exceeded my expectations. It was clean, roomy, well equiped and modern. I highly recommend this location.

Vila Rodrigues was spotless and had everything that we needed . It was very nicely designed and stylishly decorated . The only thing it needed was a rail on the outer side of the stairs. Easy walking distance to Alfama and some restaurants .

Lovely calm stay in the middle of Lisbon

Villa Rodrigues is in a great location with some lovely streets of cafes and shops just 10mins walk away. There is also a super market on the same roads making it easy to buy food. The flat was lovely, really well fitted out with super comfortable beds. The area was pretty quiet so good for restful sleep and also work working in the day. Our only note for improvement is that the flat could do with a few more cooking utensils such as wooden spoons and spatulas, other than that the kitchen was well equipped with lovely locally made table wear.

The accommodation is quite modern and well equipped. The host was also very nice and the communication was good. The location however is a disaster. We felt unsafe the whole time we stayed there. The people outside the apartment and in the surrounding area felt extremely sketchy. Furthermore, the apartment was on the ground floor with the door to the street, which makes the it very noisy and hard to sleep even with earplugs. I can only recommend anyone to stay away from this accommodation.

Excellent property

Well located, short walk to shops, restaurants and transport. Access to the apartment was easy as directions, key codes etc were very well communicated. The apartment itself had everything you could possibly need. Including complementary wine, water and fresh ground coffee. All in all a clean, comfortable hugely convenient property.

Stunning, spacious, safe 2 bed/2 bath apartment

Beautiful 2 bedroom 2 bath apartment (Lar Laurinda) in a gated area on top floor with all the amenities you would think of. Fully stocked with welcome coffee, wine, water and full bottles of toiletries shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion. Great shower, natural light, very safe and secure. Towel warmer, washer dryer combo unit, coffee Nespresso maker combo, all dishes and cutlery, very well thought out lighting and storage. I wish I could live there full time! The only thing that travelers should know is that the building is in a dominantly east Indian area, so if you are not into that style of food, you will need to walk or metro a bit further.

The property was clean and for the most part as shown in pictures. It was somewhat inconvenient to climb the stairs and they have no porters to help with bags. My villa I couldn’t find any flatware in the kitchen and the office closes at 4pm so if you check in late and say you want some water after a long flight you’re on your own.

The property was set up like individual villas, beautifully decorated, and very clean. We felt safe and secure in the property. We arrived on a weekend prior to check-in time but the sweetest housekeeper Nivea helped us with our luggage and let us store our luggage in our room while they got it ready for us. Nivea showed us around our room and was super kind. The property had great added amenities that are harder to come by in Portugal such as a dishwasher, washer AND dryer, steamer for clothes, and towel warmer. There was also a bottle of wine, sparkling water, and still water available for us. The office manager also was so kind when we couldn’t figure out how to use the dryer function since the QR code with instructions was not loading. She also helped us figure out how to take a train to Cascais. Just a FYI, Google maps tells you it is 2.5 hrs by train when in reality it’s only 40 min. I searched numerous properties since I am super picky and this was by far the best in the price range. The property was easy to find and very quiet. I would definitely recommend this property to friends and family that are staying in Lisbon. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Apartment itself is very nice but team behind it needs some training on communication. After booking, I asked if they can store our luggage for us, after one week nobody responded my message and I sent a reminder and asked them to answer my message, they sent me a generic mail and I didn’t pay attention to the part nobody is around at the weekends. The day before, Susana from team contacted me asking my check in time and I asked again if they can store luggage and she just ignored me, didn’t even answer. When we arrived on Sunday, we just came by with another guest and he was on the phone with someone from the team, trying to learn if they can leave their luggage for the day. She hold him on the phone at least 10 min. claiming someone was around or checking ‘something’ we didn’t understand what she was checking and nobody was around. After sometime we all decided to leave cause it was obvious we were not able to use their storage, even you can I don’t recommend it cause we saw forced entry marks on the door where they store them. We ended up using a locker at the city center.We stayed in a street facing apartment and it was noisy due to all car, tuk tuk and drunk people noises ( there is a stair next to apartments and it’s used as a drinking point by locals) Location is good, close to metro station. I would not stay again in Vila Rodrigues, I am sure there are better options in the area.

Dejlig lejlighed i roligt kvarter

Dejlig lys og rummelig toetagers lejlighed som giver godt med plads til familieferien. Den ligger i et roligt område og godt ifht. at komme rundt i Lissabon. Kort inden afrejse fra DK modtog en let forståelig vejledning til hvordan vi skulle finde stedet samt adgangskoder til låge/dør. Alt i alt et dejligt sted som vi sagtens kunne finde på at booke igen.
