Excellent accommodation with friendly service.

A very friendly check in experience at the main hotel followed by an efficient transfer to the annexe building just 5” away. Our suite was vast and very comfortable with all that was needed for our stay. The location was excellent for accessing all the local sights and a good selection of local restaurants. Noise/music can be a bit of an issue but that is a constant wherever you stay in Casco Viejo.

This hotel has 4 apartments on second and third floor of the building. There is no lobby but you are able to leave your bags with the attendant in a small room on first floor. All attendants were welcoming and very helpful. The apartment was a huge 2 br/2 bath that can easily accommodate 6 people with a nice kitchen. Location in the beginning of Casco Viejo was great.

The room was very spacious and had plenty of supplies if you would have liked to make food/eat in. We were only there two nights so didn't need that feature. The bathrooms were really modern and nice and great water pressure! The location was perfect. The fact that we were near the top of Casco Antiguo made getting in and out with Uber very convenient. Uber is very resonably priced and quicky in Panama City. If we had stayed farther down in Casco Antiguo it would have taken longer to get in and out each Uber trip. Instead we could easily walk to anywhere we wanted to go. The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly.

La Isabela was one of the nicest suites we’ve ever stayed in. The 2 bedroom suite was clean, modern, and well appointed with everything you’d need for a short stay or an extended stay. The location within Casco Viejo was also superb. With all that said, the front desk staff were also fantastic! They were friendly, professional, and always ready to lend a hand or provide restaurant and museum suggestions. Andres, Enrique, and Nathaniel really made our stay special.

The suite was clean and beautiful. The staff was extremely helpful with all our needs and the location was perfect. We had a balcony overlooking Plaza Simon Bolivar. The view was beautiful. Would highly recommend!

Perfect Stay in a Perfect Location

Our La Isabella Suites was just perfect. Initially, this was for a girls group of 4 but after 2 dropped out, we decided for the same price as a regular hotel room, we’d stay and each have our own en-suite room. And I am so glad we did. Nice, well-appointed rooms, modern bathrooms, modern conveniences yet classically decorated to retain the charm of this period property. La Isabella is in a prime location, so close to EVERYTHING. SUPER spacious suite, well appointed, everything was so comfortable, super clean, well stocked kitchen (although why you would want to cook with so many great cafes, restaurants within a 5 minute walk), and Enrique and Andres always available to answer questions, make recommendations and arrange anything you need (like a great massage – my friend said the best she’s had in years). And wow, the inner courtyard was just heavenly, perfect for relaxing and super quiet and comfortable. Plus the balcony over the street was great, especially at night to watch the evening partiers, musicians, etc go then retire to the quiet inside. With double doors it was so quiet inside and we did not hear any outside noise. We hated leaving this sanctuary perfectly situated in Casco Viejo and highly recommend a stay if you’re headed to Panama City. La Isabella’s high ratings and reviews are well deserved, indeed!
