Cozy diamond in the rough. With proximity to lots of good places to eat and the beach, it was very easy to use the lodge as our home base. The rooms were cozy and well equipped with a small kitchenette and lots of appliances which made preparing meals in our room super easy. The rooms were clean and had a nice homey vibe.

The Lodge at Lake Tahoe is an easy walk to a variety of good dining and shopping options, including Target and the the numerous shops and restaurants of Heavenly Village. It's also walking distance to the hideous casinos of Stateline, Nevada, if you're into those places. While the hotel is nice, it's on a very busy street (Pioneer Trail), and the traffic noise kept us awake at night due to our room being the closest to the street. In the future, I would request a room further from the street.

Great place, room was just very stuffy and gave a harsh dryness to our nose. Had to circulate the air ourselves with a fan(in the closet) which made the night okay. smart Tv in the bedroom would have been nice.

The Lodge was clean and affordable. The pool was heated and the hot tub was working. Perfect for our 3 day stay. Very close to all shopping and restaurants. We stayed in the 350 sq ft room. Just enough space for our family of 3. They provide dishes, a crock pot and a hot plate if you are interested. And the couch folds out to a full size or queen bed.

Room furnishings were comfortable. Really liked the entire layout. Everything we needed was there. A little odd to check in at 4pm when the office closes at 4pm. But they were easy to contact during business hours and let us check in 30 minutes early. Overall, one of the more comfortable stays we have had in a while.

Disappointing

Great location and large room, however, there were a number of issues. 1. Emailed the hotel before arriving saying I was arriving late and they did not provide me the required instructions to do late check-in. 2. Hot-tub was dirty 3. Both my girlfriend and I were bitten by bed-bugs. After informing the hotel, no apologies, refunds, etc was given.
