The Arc CarrĂ­s apartments were amazing! The location is in the best spot, the views are amazing, and the service from the staff was excellent. I would recommend to anyone looking to stay in Porto!!!

Great location to see Porto. Has elevator for seniors or those with walking difficulties. Best to take Uber or taxi due no close parking. Close to waterfrontand other attractions. Highly recomend staying here. Unfortunately there is road construction infront but windows seal out noise

Very nice property, breakfast was terrific and staff is very accommodating. They arranged out taxi from the airport and recommended a private Douro valley tour . Helena was very helpful in guiding and arranging Douro valley tour. Overall 10/10.

Property was perfectly located. Breakfast was plentiful. And tasty. Staff was very responsive. perfect combination of good taste and comfort. Only difficulty was recognizing the door to enter, and where to check in.

We had a good stay overall, but want people to go in the trx with their eyes open... It's in a very busy and popular area so there's good and bad with that. Good is everything a tourist wants to see is within walking distance. But then there are always loads of people hanging out at the street-level door to the property, including a pan handler who will tell you every day it's his birthday. He's also working with the convenient store clerks next door and the female pan handler across the road, so be aware of all that. Other than that, once you get inside, the property is modern, spacious, nicely decorated, but with a few minor maintenance issues like shower drain is slow, and bathroom sink leaks so everything you place under it will get wet... But I also didn't pay that much so overall solid.

To check into the property, you must go across the street. Also, the address took us down 6 minutes away. Maybe look on google maps first before giving to a driver.

Nice and clean and very central. Apartment with elevator which was nice. Check in across the road which wasn’t clear but I saw this in a prior review so I had a heads up. It’s very close by so not a big issue. Apartment is spacious and clean and was a very good rate. Everything is walkable and very central to old town and across the bridge to Gaia area. The shower was terrible - very difficult to get right temp and flow. The shower head was more like a shower mixer and not a shower rose. The pressure was so strong that when we ditched on the water the mixer flew off the stand and sprayed everywhere. There was also a piece of metal on the bathroom floor, just behind the door. Probably from a door stopper that broke off. Very dangerous if not seen and can inflict some serious injury. Staff were friendly and check in smooth. I booked it due to the “exceptional” ratings. It’s a nice option at a good rate and I’d rate it as “very good”.

The apartment was clean and very secure. We had minor issues but the maintenance guys were there in an instant to make the adjustments. Only complaint is our apartment had a odour in the bathroom. It is probably because there is no pea trap on the sink and smelled

Location of the property was excellent & the room was nicely presented, however, it was let down by lack of maintenance. The studio itself wasn’t cleaned properly, the kitchen area was covered in dust and there were stains around the bed. The bathroom, whilst nicely presented, smelt of damp & the shower was a nightmare to use. To get a constant temperature, you had to have it on a an extremely powerful pressure which wasn’t comfortable to use, any less and the shower would constantly go from scolding to freezing. I liked the apartment and building, it’s just a shame it was let down by the maintenance.

wifi is essentially not usable

+ It is located near the waterfront which makes it a perfect tourist spot for hikes on the riverbank + Apartment looks really nice. + The kitchen is well equipped and thought through. + big safe that can easily hold two 13 inch laptops and some more stuff. When we checked in we realized that the safe doesn't work. After about 30 min maintenance staff diagnosed the problem, removed the faulty safe and installed a new one that worked properly. - wifi is horrible. it works irregularly, with connection going and stopping all the time. Sometimes even checking your email is impossible. If you need stable connection for anything you’re going be frustrated -Bathroom is spacious and looks pretty but the water pressure is low in the shower and it floods the floor. It’s also impossible to use the sink without splashing everything with water. And the light is rather dim which makes it hard to shave - In the kitchen some salt and pepper would be nice. - There is a dish drainer but nothing to wash the dishes by hand. There is a dishwasher and you get one tablet for it but it’s not refilled by housekeeping. (Housekeeping puts any dirty dishes they can find in the dishwasher and turn it on - using their own tablets so there's that)

Perfekt beliggenhed.

Lejligheden ligger har perfekt placering i byen. TÊt pÄ Duoro floden og hele restaurant omrÄdet og i gÄafstand fra Ribiera med alle portvins kÊldrene. Lejligheden var super fin og havde en balkon med udsigt til floden og gadelivet. VÊr opmÊrksom pÄ at lejligheden netop ligger i centrum og der kan vÊre en del trafikstÞj fra biler og udrykningsfartÞj, derudover havde lejligheden et ventilationssystem som ikke kunne slukkes og som gav en del lyd fra sig. Jeg sover selv altid med Þrepropper men det gÞr konen ikke og hun synes specielt ventilationen stÞjede en del.
