The property was beautiful, peaceful, fantastic views, and quiet. We couldn't believe how quiet it was even with a wedding on the roof both nights. The extra decorations for our 50th anniversary was a great surprise! The only part we didn't enjoy was riding on the cobblestones up and down the hill but that was nothing against your beautiful hotel. By the time we left we were hugging everyone like family and even shared Salvatore's banana bread. The breakfast buffet was our favorite and we even have a picture of all your staff serving us. Salvatore and Antonio answered every question we had and were so helpful getting a taxi. Francisco Mendoza took very good care of us and promised to help us the next time we book since we will definitely come back to the top of the mountain!!! Antonio Rodriguez helped my husband plan the entire trip through emails that he responded to immediately. We have never had a family of helpful, loving members taking care of us on a vacation as we did at the Grand Miramar and look forward to seeing you next year!!!

Stunning views everywhere on this gorgeous property overlooking Banderas Bay. It was peaceful and quiet and never seemed crowded. There was none of the “chase for chairs” around the pool that resorts seem to be plagued with and plenty of towels as well. The only negatives were as follows: 1. While it was very pleasant to sit on our deck, the chairs provided were hard and uncomfortable 2. It was impossible to find a full menu with price list. Even getting a QR code was a bit of a hunt and not everything was on it. Nowhere was wine by the glass listed. 3. When we asked about the safety of their water, while they said it was filtered, they couldn’t definitively recommend it for drinking. One small bottle (350 ml?) of Kirkland brand water was provided per person per day. I would have happily purchased more of that brand rather than the “high end” water that was sold at the hotel. The breakfast was a real treat, both with service and quality of food. The chocolate with turndown service was also a lovely touch. Also, despite being a small distance from the town (we were able to walk it), taxis were extremely reasonable.

We stayed in the Grand Junior Suite and the views were incredible! The room was spacious and spotless. The hotel was quiet and very nice. Transportation to town was easy and cabs were always available. The staff was always available and accommodating. They could use a few more lounges and umbrellas around the pool. Breakfast was different everyday and tasty. Since the hotel was not walking distance to anything it would have been nice to have a little snack area to get items like chips, power bars, sodas, chap stick, etc. to take to the room. If you didn't get it in town, you didn't have it! Otherwise it was a delightful stay.

The service from all staff is First Rate, very courteous accommodating and respectful of your needs. We have never stayed in a place in Puerto Vallarta as great as Grand Miramar. Our suite as well as the entire resort was spotlessly clean, every day, very spacious and very well appointed. The two restaurants and Poolside Bar and snacks all served very delicious and well presented food items and used the best ingredients and bar brands. So if you are looking for a first rate accommodation that go above and beyond to make your stay the best, Grand Miramar is the place to be. Simply Wonderful!

Excellent hotel, enjoyed the stay. Was expecting it to be a little isolated but was not an issue. Able to go into the Romantic Zone for evening meals at a very reasonable Taxi or Uber ride. Staff were very accommodating and nice.

The Grand Miramar is a beautiful hotel nestled in the quiet hills of Conchas Chinas. The daily breakfast was great, with a variety of both freshly prepared hot dishes and fresh fruit, juices and coffee. The concierge was very helpful, handling all of our questions and requests promptly. We enjoyed an afternoon at the spa, with lovely massage therapists and a relaxing sauna. The women’s steam room was not working, which was a bummer. My husband utilized the gym, so that was convenient. The location is beautiful and quiet, with expansive balcony views and beautiful sunsets. The reason I’m rating 4/5 is as follows. The service and food our first evening was not very good, but we felt the breakfast mostly made up for the lackluster evening experience. The pool service could use improvement, employees are not attentive in that area. The hot tub was more like a lukewarm bath and the pool was cold..and I know, the weather is typically hot..but the week we were there it was only 70F with a decent breeze, so a warmer hot tub would have been great. The option to adjust the temperature would have been wonderful. And lastly, this was a sleepy hotel on a sleepy hill. The hills are cobblestone which make for a very bumpy (albeit inexpensive) taxi to and from town, with no nightlife or food options within the immediate area. And truth be told, the facilities are not great enough to want to stay solely at the hotel. Now that I know this, I would prefer to stay closer to town.

The property is located up a steep hill, so taxis are required to move around as there is nothing around the hotel. Breakfast and food quality were generally limited and basic. I found it interesting that they charge for water bottles and coffees such as espresso and that that is not included as part of breakfast. Staff are friendly. The overall design is outdated. Very limited sun beds to use. Also to note that it is not an adults only hotel as previously advertised when we booked.

The Zona Romántica is a short drive by taxi down the hill but this lovely property sits at the summit, well above all the hustle, bustle and NOISE! The views from the rooms over the Bahía de Banderas are spectacular.

We really like this place. I traveled with my wife and three children ages 13 to 18. The place was really spacious for us and felt pretty comfortable with the service and amenities available. We had no problem getting cars to and from the grand Miramar despite being on top of the hill. This was actually a really nice feature because it got us away from everything. We had no problem getting to downtown Puerto Vallarta within 10 minutes. The food choices were adequate and the menu was fun to explore however, not everything on the menu was available. For instance, they didn’t have the ribeye tacos. They were good and we didn’t care because of all the other choices. Their concierge was extremely helpful and setting up activities Every day they even helped us arrange extremely good restaurant recommendations which really made our evening special. All in all we go back in a heartbeat and it’s not a surprise when I met other vacationers who regularly return to the grand Miramar.

DO NOT STAY HERE! The property kicked us out on our second night around 2-3am. They then proceeded to call “police” who handcuffed me and took the cash in my wallet. They then drove my girlfriend around to various ATMs trying to have her withdraw more money. Luckily, her bank detected fraud due to the amount and time and wouldn’t allow the transactions to process. I then asked for a refund for the hotel nights and was denied by this property. The hotel staff lied to Expedia and my CC company and told them we stayed the entire time. WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE!
