This property was fantastic! Laundry facilities very convenient for a long holiday meaning we could do all our laundry on our stay! Clear instructions for check in and issue with my credit card was fixed up without any hassle from the property. Great location and awesome recommendations left from the host to help us find some restaurants and bars to visit on our stay!

The apartment was in a great area and had everything we needed for our stay. It was spacious, clean and well equipped. It was a in a very nice area that felt safe and quiet. It also was a walkable distance to Beale St and the Lorraine Motel. Would thoroughly recommend to others

Came into town with a family of 5. I booked the 3 bedroom 3 bathroom and there was a bonus half bathroom so everyone had their own space. My parents and siblings were impressed with the cleanliness and it seemed the host thought of everyone to keep guest comfortable. Definitely plan on staying here again on my next trip to Memphis. 10/10 would recommend!

Avoid ABODE at all costs

I booked in January and paid then. I uploaded identity documents at that time and jumped through all the (frankly unecessary) hoops theat Abode requested at that time. Then about two days before arrival I got an email from an unrecognised and frankly sketchy email address, asking me for all sorts of credit card information, by email , which goes against all banking advice and procedures. Threatened with cancellation and a no show at that. Appallling way to treat a customer. They say it's standard procedure, but I can assure you its not. The online form asked for none of that at the time of booking.

Great downtown location!

The only issue was the fire alarm going off at 6:15am and everyone having to evacuate the building! At least it wasn’t 3am! Lovely place, great location. I was in town to visit with my son, a former St.Jude Patient. He and his wife live in Colorado, I live in Louisiana. This location was about 8 blocks, a quick easy jaunt to the hospital! Walking distance to numerous restaurants and Beale Street!

My stay overall was excellent! This is my second time staying at this location. Great access to downtown and convention center where my I attended my Convention. On this stay, I had some issues with the poorly upkeep of my unit. I reported it and immediately the issue was looked into and I was relocated by the next day. Thanks to Abode and their attiveness to assuring excellent customer service. I will recommend staying at this location and I would book here again if my travels brings me back to Memphis.

Great stay for 2 couples

Abode is an apartment in a great location. Quiet for a city locale but short walk to Beale street, trolley cat and water front. The room was spacious. Great for 2 couples with sitting area, dining area, full kitchen with 2 bed 2 bath. The only negatives were the shades did not block the morning sun and the preregistration was very complicated. The check-in was complicated but very well described in communication

Beale St International Blues Challenge

Clean, comfortable, roomy and a 8 minute walk to Beale St. Parking on street $3 for 2 hours free from 6pm to 8am. Getting into the building initially is a little difficult because the detailed instructions are on a separate message from the building code message. Once inside the apartment there is a electronic pass for the building and elevator . Unfortunately my code didn't work for the apartment door and called the number provided and was able to get in 15 minutes and was fine the rest of the stay

Space with great location

My sister and I stayed here 3 nights with our mom who doesn’t get around the best anymore. It was a little hassle getting into the apartment but we lucked out and got a parking place on the street in front of the building when we arrived. You can pay for the parking via your cell phone. The code, door and elevator with a timeframe trying to get all the bags in was a struggle but once that part is over it is easy peasy. There are key cards in the apartment to use for your stay that allow you to just hold your bag (with the key inside) near the pad by the door for opening. We had 3 bedrooms which was great for everyone to have some space when they needed it but then could gather in the living room or kitchen and be together. We walked to Gus’s chicken which was fantastic and also along the river. Safe area and good location. Also loved that they left a list of recommended restaurants and bars with description- always nice to have a locals perspective. This property is great for groups traveling together. Could walk many places ( Beale, pyramid, Peabody) if you are a little fit. We felt safe and really enjoyed our stay.

When we arrived, the code did not work for the door. We called and were on hold (standing in the hallway) for 25 minutes. Once I spoke with someone, the problem was resolved and we had no issues after that. The location is good. Short walk to Beale Street. Plenty of restaurants in the area. Parking across the street in a paid lot. The bed was a bit small for the two of us, but the couch was comfortable. Wi-fi was good. Kitchen had adequate amenities. Suggestion to the Abode people, can you leave instructions for the washer/dryer? I couldn't figure out how to work it. Also, a sheet pan and a sponge would have been nice to have in the kitchen.

Memphis Abode is trash

We paid for a two bedroom, two bathroom apartment. We get there and one of the showers doesn’t work nor does the microwave. It took two days for abode to do anything about it when they finally offered us an identical apartment on another floor. We switch rooms and the showers work and the microwave works but the bedframe collapses in the middle while we’re sleeping, folding us like a taco. We didn’t do anything to the bed, nor on, or in the bed, it just buckled while we were trying to get rest, and we lost a night of sleep as a result. When we brought these overlapping issues to their attention, the only thing they did was refund us the night that we didn’t stay there because we were so fed up we went to a comfort inn for our last night in town and had a far better stay.

Can't lie - I was skeptical due to all of the verification requirements, but it was so worth it. This location was PERFECT! Zero complaints. Staff was helpful, support line was fast/helpful, and the location was perfect for downtown life. Safe and secure building, parking garage, and 24/7 support. Best place I've ever stayed while travelling.
