Overall, my family and I (4 people) had a comfortable stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is centrally located, so we could easily access the metro, food, and many of the main attractions in Madrid. The hotel is undergoing renovations, but this did not affect our stay.

Decent Place for the Price

Easy to find and located walking distance to everything we wanted to see. However, the walls were paper thin and everytime the people upstairs moved their chairs, you could hear them dragging the chairs across the ground. The bathroom was a little on the small side, but usable. Other than those little qualms, its a decent place for singles and couples, not families.

Room was spacious and clean. The beds were comfortable (twin beds). The mini fridge, microwave, and sink were useful. Highly recommend adding another table for placing luggage instead of on the floor. Staff were responsive and nice. Take note you have to go up a flight of stairs to get to the elevator. Concierge staff helped carry up our luggage. Location is great!! Close to a metro and easy to get a taxi. 10min walk to Gran Via, near a lot of shopping.

Property was okay but for the price it was quite high. The location is good but some homeless infront of the property area. The bathroom door was quite annoying as it did not cover each end of the doorframe and would slide back if not held. It was clean though and the bed was comfortable. Overall it wasn't a bad stay but I'd try elsewhere next time.

For the price we paid, this property is definitely overpriced. -They didn't even have electric kettle to use nor provide basic things like coffee or tea. Not sure how this property can be categorized as a 3 stars hotel. -The bathroom door was problematic and needed a hard push and pull to move. -The shower water pressure was really weak and it took awhile to heat the warm water. - The walls are so thin we could hear the units next to us very clearly. If you stay on the weekend like we did, be prepared for the noise on the street level. Save your money and stay elsewhere.

My husband and I stayed in a cozy room with kitchenette in June. You must take stairs to second floor to access elevator but staff helped carrying luggage. The room was affordable, clean and comfortable. Staff were kind and responsive. The area was close to transportation and a 10 minute walk to Gran Via. Royal palace and Mercado de San Miguel was about a 20 minute walk. Would stay here again!
