This is the second time my friends and I stayed at Family Tides. Although we did not have the best weather, we still had a great time with the “at home” feeling of this unit. The owner is super fast with responses. The views are amazing. Most important to us

Highly recommend this condo! It’s updated, beautiful, clean, and the beds were comfortable! The owner response to questions were immediate and helpful. I’ve stayed at the Carousel 5 times now, in 5 different condos, and would say this was by far our favorite and most enjoyable trip!

The property was as advertised and pictured on the VRBO website. The views both of the ocean and the bayside were spectacular. Our host was very responsive and assured that the unit had everything that we needed. Would definitely recommend!

We loved our stay at family rides! The patio and balcony furniture really made things homey and relaxing! The shampoo conditioner and body wash was a really nice extra! It was a perfect stay! We cannot wait to come back next year!!

Grateful for a Perfect Family Getaway!!We just returned from a wonderful stay at this oceanfront condo in Ocean City, and it was truly perfect for our family. As a mom of two young kids (6 & 3), I couldn’t have asked for more — spacious, clean, and fully stocked with everything we needed, including a washer/dryer so we left with clean clothes (a dream!). The large balcony with ocean views was amazing, and the hotel amenities — ice skating, arcade, pools, crafts, and activities — kept everyone happy and busy. Easy check-in/out, great kitchen for family meals, and even a bar and restaurant for the adults. Grateful for such a fun, easy, and memorable trip. We’ll definitely be back!

This is the best place to see the old cars as they go by the condo. The front you have the ocean,an the back has a great area to see the street.

Perfect Getaway

The condo was the perfect size for my family of 5. The views of the ocean and the bay were beautiful. I loved having an extra big balcony and being able to listen to the waves as I fell asleep. We will definitely be booking this condo in the future!

What a view! Everything was as expected! Clean, accuracy of rental description and comfort. We will be back to enjoy the accommodations with the spectacular view of the sunrise from the balcony off the living room and the sunset from the back balcony! Great memories! Thank you!

The place was just as expected, it's beautiful. Was hoping to rent it again in May, but was already booked. No surprise there! We have rented many condos over the past 30 years. This place was one of the best. The property manager, was the absolute best...hands down!

Perfect Family Getaway!

We booked a family vacation to enjoy all of the local Christmas festivities! The Carousel was the perfect place to do this! The condo is perfectly located with everything we needed in walking distance (grocery store, restaurants, coffee shops etc.) The condo was equipped with all the essentials and was spacious enough space for the family! The back patio is HUGE and the view of the ocean/beach was beautiful! We even had a bonus front patio designated for us! The elevators are conveniently close by but still offered alot of privacy. The kids LOVED the ice rink in the hotel. We will definitely come back!

It was functional, but wow does it need a serious update! Shower enclosure old/rusty/dirty, slippery throw rug at front door (no backing), small portable fans to make up for no celling fans - one was a tiny 6-inch fan/insufficient, leftover food from previous stay in cabinet - yuk! We had to wash towels and ran out of TP and paper towels, bunk room quilts just old/grungy, ocean balcony table/chairs peeling paint and really too big for the balcony. Nice view ocean and bay - but remember bayfront on the roadside and it was very loud at certain times. Carousel itself nice location, great DJ Fri night, pools/property definitely appears larger in the pics.

Reminded us of the Jersey Shore

My husband has never been to OC, MD so I booked this stay. The condo is spacious and does have great views of the bay and ocean but the hotel roof of the Carousel is what you see when on the balcony, and then the ocean. The Carousel Resort Hotel and Condo is extremely packed and busy. You cannot get a chair at the pool because there are just too many people there. They do have an outdoor restaurant and bar which was decent. If you do not get your towel on the beach and set up before 6:30 AM you will be rows back and away from the Ocean. We were very disappointed that this property was not more quiet, secluded and upscale for the money we paid for the week. The property manager was very responsive to the issues we experienced. We could barely open the sliding doors due to the salt air perhaps, and the front door literally had to be “kicked/forcefully opened” each time we entered. If you love the Jersey shore, then you will love this area/property. We didn’t expect to drive 4.5 hours to get the Jersey shore experience that we get within 1 hour of driving. Lesson learned.
