The location is fantastic, but the building is old and has a strange smell and as long as you don’t mind, climbing multiple flights of stairs, the balcony is the best feature for this top floor unit. Limited Textiles and pillows available and could use more kitchen essentials but the host was helpful with suggestions in the area

No longer a fan of VRBO/AirB&B. This has been my experience with the last rentals: Great location, The basics are there in the units but they have wierd layouts, lots of wasted space, appliances and furniture is show lots of wear, things that dont work, etc. All doable,but the value for the money is decreasing from the early days when you dealt with the actual owners and not agencies.

Incredible location! Kitchen has everything you need, terrace is fantastic to enjoy breakfast on and an evening glass of wine. Living space is very comfortable and spacious. You are walking distance to so many great spots and it was quiet for sleeping. It isn’t six floors up like some people say, it’s three floors up. Yes, it’s six short flights of stairs. The stairs are super wide. The queen bed is actually a double. It wasn’t an issue for us as we are smaller adults. We would for sure stay here again.

Property was great - right in the heart of Chiado, everything is walkable. Spacious for our family of 5! Deck off of the kitchen was beautiful @ night and great for hanging laundry during the day!

The location was outstanding

This property was exactly what we wanted from our Lisbon experience. We knew there were a lot of stairs to reach the top floor and it was not a problem as it was only a couple times a day. The rooms were charming, but don’t expect a hotel, expect a charming Lisbon apartment with cool angles and built in shelves and closets. I would stay there again. Martim was responsive, helpful and nice.

. Poor quality

Great location for our family
. However, AC units do not work well, beds are thin and uncomfortable. The deck has numerous boards that are loose and unsafe to step onto. The third bed and room is for children; if your family is tall, do not stay here; low angled ceilings in bedrooms and kitchen- and third bed is too small for an adult. Limited supply of towels
. Loving areas are not clean.

Bel appartement bien situé!

Nous avons passĂ© 4 jours Ă  2 couples, avons bien apprĂ©ciĂ© notre sĂ©jour Ă  cet appartement bien Ă©quipĂ©, propre et Ă  quelques minutes des principales attractions de Lisbonne! La terrasse est un gros bonus en fin de journĂ©e, quoiqu'elle aurait besoin d'un peu de rĂ©parations. Il faut toutefois ĂȘtre prĂȘt Ă  monter 5 Ă©tages Ă  pied car il n'y a pas d'ascenseur ... Nous recommandons chaudement !

Chaido apartment - Lisbon

We very much enjoyed out stay at this apartment. The location was perfect for us. We were 4 adults, myself and my 3 adult children, all able to walk the hills in Lisbon. The apartment was being cleaned on our early arrival and we were gratuitously allowed to leave our bags inside until our 1500hr check in time. Luis had been in contact prior to our arrival so we had contact numbers which is very reassuring when you are using VRBO and there is no "in person" meeting on arrival. We just called Luis and he gave us the required info for check in. Be aware that the apartment is 3 floors up, 70 steps, no elevator but again as we are reasonably fit, it was not an issue. The true measure of a review is "would you stay there again" and our answer based on our experience is YES, we would!

Perfect location to explore Lisbon

This property has a perfect location in Chiado and is a short walk to everything you want to see in Lisbon. Safe location and there are nice restaurants and bars steps from the front door. Check in was easy. Host friendly, met us at check in. Apartment is nice but if you are looking for a soft bed this is not the place for you. Master bed quite firm. Second bathroom has an occasional smell that probably can’t be controlled. Overall a very nice stay!

Lisbon October 2024

The check-in process was just fine. The property was as described. It was comfortable, just a bit dated. Getting the luggage up the stairs was a haul, but luckily it was only once. We certainly got our steps in! The only things I would say are there aren't too many dishes, but we really didn't cook, you had to be aware of the sloping ceilings and there are boards loose on the deck. Otherwise, it was a nice place to stay and a good location.

Great location

Space was nice: 1 large primary bedroom, 1 medium with a double (but slanted roofs so duck) and 1 with a day bed. Nice terrace and kitchen. But
I have to be honest for others, it really smelled like sewer. They have a LOT of air fresheners everywhere but that didn’t really help a lot.
