Den kärleksfullt inredda lägenheten ligger på översta våningen i ett restaurerat hus i Alfamas övre kant, i Lissabons historiska centrum. Lägenhetens exceptionella, unika läge erbjuder spektakulär utsikt över tre sidor. Du har en översikt över vad som händer i gränderna, men du kan också hitta absolut fred om du vill.
Lägenheten ligger på tredje våningen i huset och nås med en traditionell diagonal trappa som leder i en rak linje från husets ingång till lägenheten. De två nedre våningarna i huset är från den stora jordbävningen 1755 och förstördes inte av den. De två översta våningarna byggdes på 1800-talet C. Built. Lägenheten är mycket centralt och har solsken hela dagen.

Specialfunktioner: Lägenheten har ett mycket centralt läge i en historisk byggnad i hjärtat av den gamla staden i Lissabon. Den är välutvecklad och ligger på spårvagnslinjen nr 28. Sao Vicente-klostret, slottkullen och gränderna i Alfama ligger bara några minuter bort. Återvänd från dina utökade stadsturer till denna stillhet och njut av panoramautsikten från alla fönster. Eller stanna i lägenheten och njut av den speciella atmosfären och de höga, ljusa rummen.

I steep climb but worth it for the view!

In a lovely part of Lisbon's old town Close to trams and a few restaurants and shops. Very steep stairs up to the top floor but worth it for fabulous views.The host very kindly gave recommendations about restaurants. It would have been nice to have had some info in the apartment about the area and transport and maybe a bottle of water in the fridge on arrival! Just small things, overall apartment was very clean and well equipped, we had a great stay.

Home away from home

We felt right at home in this charming character flat. The location was very handy to all the attractions, check in with Paula was a breeze and the hosts were lovely to deal with.

As beautiful as the pictures!!!

What a beautiful apartment, with unbelievable views from the windows and balcony! If you love the pictures, you will love the apartment. It is also clean and comfortable. It has some quirks: lots of steep steps to get up to it, and an odd layout with several small-ish rooms. But everything works really well, and it is so pretty inside, and the views are just amazing!

Wir verbrachten eine Woche über Silvester in dieser schönen Wohnung. Ausstattung und Lage der Wohnung sind hervorragend. Unser Highlight war die freie Sicht auf das Silvester-Feuerwerk von der Dachterrasse aus.

Hilly and lots of stairs but worth it!

We enjoyed staying in a neighbour with character versus in a more downtown location. Most everything was in a enjoyable walking distance…despite the hills and stairs! Access to appartment requires climbing 50 stairs, straight up but surprisingly doable. Appartment was comfortable for the time spent inside and with the amenities needed. It is a family home so older in style than some may want but had an unexpected warmth and charm. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening on the balcony with amazing views. It was somewhat smaller than we imagined based on photo but we managed. Definitely a plus! Host was so helpful and provided lots of needed detailed info as we planned our stay, and Paula in charge of checkin/checkou, again, very helpful.

Beautiful apartment!

My family and I almost exclusively stay in VRBOs or similar and have for over a decade. This kitchen was small, but SO EXCELLENT. Well equipped with everything we could need! The windows let in fantastic light, the apartment was comfortable and clean. HIGHLY recommend.

Lovely

The apartment is perfect for a small group willing to climb the stairs for a beautiful view of Lisbon. The tiny terrace is a lovely spot to sit and discuss a wonderful day of Lisbon sightseeing with wine and snacks purchased easily from shops nearby. The location of the apartment is ideal for seeing many sights.

Wunderbarer Kurzurlaub

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit in Lissabon. Die Wohnung war sehr gemütlich eingerichtet mit vielen schönen antiken Möbeln. Abends konnten wir auf dem kleinen Balkon den fantastischen Ausblick genießen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Great Location

The apartment was as advertised and in an excellent location in the city. The checkin and checkout went very smoothly. The only negative comment I have is that the beds were extremely hard and uncomfortable. We found it very difficult to get a decent sleep, which was unfortunate.

Best View in Lisbon

I am over-joyed with how great this experience at this apartment was. Having my own balcony with a view like that every day was incredible! Great kitchen with everything you need. Very comfortable bed. Trolly stop close by. The list goes on and on. Wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else in Lisbon. Thank you!!

Grosses, gepflegtes Apartment in top Lage

Wir verbrachten 4 Nächte in diesem Apartment. Die Lage ist absolut top. Mit Sicht über die Dächer und auf den Tejo. Mit der U-Bahn und den historischen Tramlinien Nr. 12 und 28 kann das Apartment gut erreicht werden. Es hat viele Restaurants in der Nähe. Das Apartment selber ist sehr sauber und bietet viel Platz. Die Fenster sind gut isoliert und man lebt deshalb sehr ruhig. Die Infrastruktur ist in sehr gutem Zustand.

Wonderful stay!

This is a delightful apartment in every way: full of light from its many windows; period furniture; polished wood floors; and immaculately clean. Well equipped kitchen for cooking and dining. There are excellent views from every vantage point, especially from the delightful balcony just big enough for three. We were on the balcony as often as possible for lunches and apéro time, feasting on the views over the castle hill, the winding streets of Graça and the river Tejo as much or more than on our delicious food and wine. One of our greatest delights was watching the swooping and darting of the swallows as they fed in early morning and at sunset. Communication with the owner and the local manager, Paula, was excellent and immediate, with comprehensive instructions provided for arrival and departure, as well as for every part of our stay, and for the very few times we had questions. We really enjoyed the Graça neighbourhood, with all needed amenities, and many restaurants, cafés and major points of interest within easy walking distance, as long as you can negotiate hilly terrain. As has been noted by the owner, there are 50 stairs, which does require a reasonable level of fitness and mobility. We are far from young and enjoy walking, so did not find this a drawback. We really hope to return!

Traumhafte Unterkunft, bei sommerlichen Temperaturen im April

Die Informationen und Beschreibung der charmanten Räumlichkeiten entspricht dem sehr sauberen und aufgeräumten Zustand, den wir auch bei unserer Ankunft angefunden haben. Die Wohnung bietet sehr viel Platz und die Möglichkeit mit dem kleinen, aber sehr schönen Balkon die Abende bei einem Sundowner über den Dächern Lissabons ausklingen zu lassen. Viele Lokale und kleine Bars konnte man ohne Probleme in kurzer Zeit erreichen - auch die Geheimtipps der Gastgeber haben nicht enttäuscht ;) Die Kommunikation war durchgehend unkompliziert, zuvorkommend und sehr transparent. Hier auch ein besonderes Dankeschön an Paula, die uns sehr herzlich empfangen und weitere hilfreiche Tipps hatte. Gerne kommen wir wieder an diesen ruhigen Ort zurück, um Lissabon weiter zu erkunden und die beeindruckende Kulinarik zu genießen! Vielen Dank und beste Grüße!

Grandiose Aussicht über den Dächern der Altstadt

Der Internetauftritt beschreibt die Wohnung sehr genau und treffend. Sie besitzt einen ganz individuellen Charme und bietet in verschiedene Richtungen wunderschöne Ausblicke, die man ganz für sich ohne die Touristenmassen, die die öffentlichen Miradouros bevölkern, genießen kann. Für den täglichen Gebrauch ist alles vorhanden (außer einem Fernseher, aber dafür sind die Fenster da). Alles ist top gepflegt, sauber und ordentlich. Die Matratzen mit den wärmenden Bettdecken waren super. Es besteht die Möglichkeit, einzelne Räume mit Elektroöfen zu heizen. Gold wert, wenn man in den kühleren Monaten dort ist. Die unmittelbare Umgebung ist ein Traum. Graça, Alfama, Mouraria mit dem Castelo sind in greifbarer Nähe. Aber auch darüber hinaus gibt es überall was zu entdecken auf den 7 Hügeln dieser einzigartigen Stadt. Gutes Schuhwerk und Regencapes sind dabei unsere beste Ausrüstung gewesen ;-). Wir kommen gerne wieder und hoffen dann auf den ersehnten Sundowner auf dem Balkon. Vielen Dank und beste Grüße an Seppi, mit dem die Kommunikation super geklappt hat und an Paula, die vor Ort sehr hilfsbereit war.

Strong musty, mildew odor

We loved this place at first, but had to leave after one night due to a strong musty, mildew odor. I am allergic to mildew, and I could not sleep because of the smell. The smell was strongest in the non-washable fabrics and some of the old furniture (see photos). The linens were fine, and the apartment was otherwise clean. We opened the windows to clear the air, but the apartment was already cold, so we had to sit in front of one of the plug-in portable heaters provided. When we spoke to the owner, who was out of the country, he claimed he’d never had complaints before, and Portugal is humid along the coast, and perhaps I should not visit Portugal in March if I was allergic to mildew. Fortunately for us, the next six places we stayed in Portugal had no problem at all, and we enjoyed the rest of our trip. Although we offered to pay for the one night (out of five), plus the cleaning fee, the owner gave us no refund, and VRBO did not support us, saying they needed proof (which, of course, is difficult with an odor). The owner asked my husband to call him directly, so we assumed he would offer a refund in exchange for us not leaving a bad review. However, when my husband suggested this, he accused my husband of bribery. We were very shaken by this unpleasant experience, and so cannot recommend this apartment.

Sehr gute Lage, im Winter jedoch kühl

Die Lage der Wohnung ist perfekt. Sie liegt mitten im lebendigen, interessanten, zentralen, architektonisch reizvollen Stadtteil Alfama. Der Blick über die Stadt vom Balkon aus ist sensationell. Wir waren im Dezember in Lissabon, da ist die Wohnung schwer warm zu bekommen und sehr feucht. Die drei Schlafzimmer sind nicht gleichwertig, eins ist innenliegend und hat kein Fenster. Der Zugang über eine sehr lange, steile Treppe war bei unserer Reise mit einer älteren Person etwas beschwerlich.
