Diephuys 14 är ett nyligen snyggt renoverat stuga med plats för 14 gäster. Huset ligger i ett mycket bostadsområde bara ett stenkast från den historiska marknaden i Brugge.

Diephuys 14 är den perfekta platsen att bo hos vänner och familj för att utforska Brugge och omgivning.

Fastigheten består av 2 delar; ett vänstra bostadsområde och ett högra bostadsområde separerat från varandra genom en gemensam entré.
I det vänstra vardagsrummet finns ett mysigt sittområde på bottenvåningen samt ett litet men bekvämt kök på baksidan. På första våningen finns ett stort sovrum och ett badrum med dubbla handfat och duschkabin, separat toalett och separat duschrum. Slutligen finns det ett sovande golv under taket där det finns en dubbelsäng på framsidan och två enkelsängar på baksidan.
I det högra vardagsrummet finns ett stort öppet vardagsrum med fullt utrustat kök, matsal och sittgrupp på bottenvåningen. Det finns också en toalett på bottenvåningen. På första våningen finns 2 sovrum (ett med dubbelsäng och ett med 2 enkelsängar), ett badrum med dubbla handfat och duschkabin och en separat toalett. På 2 våningen finns ytterligare 2 sovrum 1 med en dubbelsäng och 1 rum med 2 enkelsängar. På detta våning finns också ett badrum med dubbla handfat, dusch och toalett.

Fantastic home

Our family of 8 adults loved our stay. Plenty of Space and the location is on a quiet street yet easily walkable to all of Brugge.

Beautiful, but missing some important aspects

It's undeniably lovely: two old Belgian houses renovated with great style. It sleeps 14, we were 11 but the fact that it's two houses means one house (A) is actually intended for 8 people and the other (B) for 6. Of course, the addition's fine but it means that there are 2 kitchen/diners and 2 lounges each sitting the number of people lodged in the house they are in. We wanted to eat together and lounge together so this took some inventiveness and was not comfortable. Furthermore, the kitchens are lacking a real oven, each only has a small saucepan and 2 hobs. The microwave is bizarrely fitted into a lower cupboard below the cutlery drawer, oddly inaccessible. It's a triumph of aesthetic over practicality. We had intended to cook for all 11 of us in the evenings, but this was not achievable. We assume it's intended for a group who will mostly be going out to eat and socialise. We have rented houses for years each December as a group in various places and have not experienced this issue before. Also the Wifi didn't work most of the time, and when it did only for a few minutes at low speed. Reception also varied throughout the house so we all just ended up not bothering. Having said all that, we made the best of it and, as said earlier, it's a lovely place all in all.

3 night stay

Birthday celebration. Two separate houses within one entrance. There was plenty of room for our party of ten to use the large house to be together and the grandparents slept in the small house. Beautifully designed and decorated houses. Excellent location everything within easy walks. Small supermarket a short distance away.

Great space in Bruges

We were 10 adults staying at Diephuys14 in Bruges. It was clean, great beds, many bathrooms, nice living space and treats left for us. The location was perfect, great for walking to everywhere we wanted.

Such an enjoyable stay

Els was an absolute pleasure to deal with and incredibly helpful in advance with recommendations of where to eat, and letting us know what was and what wasn’t provided in the house (which is enormously helpful - I wish more people did this). We had a marvellous time and my friends kept saying what lovely houses they are. The only thing that we felt hadn’t been made clear is that there were no doors dividing the attic rooms in the left-hand house. It didn’t matter to us, but perhaps a floor plan of the houses would be helpful? They are hard to visualise from the listing. We were 9 people in the end instead of the expected 12, ans there was easily enough room in the right-hand house for us all to gather together. I would highly recommend this, and it’s very conveniently located. Bruges is so beautiful. We couldn’t have been happier.

Wonderful experience

This is a large duplex close to the main square. It's very clean and comfortable. Communication with Els is excellent. Overall a terrific vacation home. Highly recommended.

Christmas Market Weekend

The Red House was in a perfect location for getting in to the main square. The house was spotless with ample room for all of us. The owner, Els, had left a welcome gift for us, which was lovely, & lots of information about things to do in Bruges. We had a great weekend.

Excellent house, fantastic location

My friends and I rented Els house for the weekend to celebrate myself and my husband's birthday and we really enjoyed our stay. The house was modern, very clean and well equipped and the beds were really comfortable. The location was fantastic, being only a short walk from the main attractions. Els was a great host and communication was excellent and quick. I'd definitely recommend staying here.

Absolutely Perfect!

We were visiting Bruges to celebrate my husand’s birthday with friends and family. The apartments are perfect for large groups with plenty of space and everything you need for a comfortable stay. The location is ideal for the centre of Bruges and is a short walking distance to the many bars, restaurants and places of interest. The host was very good at communicating before, during and after our stay. Absolutely perfect!

We zijn met 13 vriendinnen een weekend in Brugge geweest en overnacht in Diephuys 14. Wat een fantastisch huis, alles was schoon en van veel gemakken voorzien. Een supergastvrij ontvangst met verse bloemen, en wat lekkers. Het huis ligt op loopafstand van het centrum wat erg praktisch is als je met zo'n grote groep bent. We hebben genoten van Brugge maar ook zeker van dit mooie huis!!

Excellent Stay in Bruges

The house was ideal for our group; very spacious and comfortable. It has been recently renovated and is in excellent condition. The décor is very stylish. The location was great as it was close to the center of town and within short walking distance to many fabulous restaurants and shops. The beds were very comfortable. Els was a fabulous and attentive host. She responded quickly to all our emails and provided very thorough instructions about access. She also provided directions for getting to the house a guide to Bruges. She personally dealt with any problem that arose in a timely manner. We had a fabulous stay at Diephuys14, and would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Bruges.
