Duck Lake West Shore, bara 15 minuter från Glacier National Park!

Sett dig in i denna lakefrontstuga, starta din lilla båt och kastade en stång för att landa en rejäl regnbåge eller brun öring från trädgården, promenera bland aspen och ha snabb tillgång till den legendariska prakten Glacier National Park. Gästerna ligger bara 20 minuter från parken, eftersom både Glaciären och St. Marias entréer bjuder in besökare att utforska underverk från kontinenten. Vandrare kommer att upptäcka att det perfekta Glacier Park trail är nära. Området har varit ett fiskeparadis för oss, och det är nära till drygt ett dussin sjöar och floder, som var och en har rikligt med öringklass.

Stugan är ett perfekt hem hemifrån. Stora fönster visar upp sjön. Du hittar 3 sovrum, som inkluderar 2 sovrum på huvudnivå (alla med en dubbelsäng) och ett sovrum på loftet (2 drottningssängar). Ett stort badrum med dusch ligger på huvudnivån. Tvättmöjligheter finns på plats. Köket är välutrustat med grundläggande matlagningsmaterial, ett stort kyl / frys, diskmaskin och sortiment / ugn. En grill på främre däck är det perfekta stället att njuta av sjön. Vardagsrummet har en TV för att titta på DVD, ett videobibliotek, brädspel och en eldstad.

Området är vild och naturskönt, men erbjuder också många bekväma bekvämligheter. Det finns flera restauranger, en bensinstation och livsmedelsaffär inom 15 minuters bilresa från stugan.

Det finns få saker i världen mer tillfredsställande än en flykt till en av Montanas favoritskatter; djurliv och natursköna vyer finns i överflöd. Oavsett om din ande kallar dig att vandra från din stuga eller om du vill bosätta dig och titta på landskapet från det stora täckta däcket, hittar du din lycka här. Great Glacier Vacation

We had a great stay at Larry and Linda's cabin. Cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. Close proximity to Many Glacier entrance to GNP. Would definitely stay here again!

Cozy comfortable cabin

The place was clean with a beautiful view of the lake. We had everything we needed and enjoyed getting ready for our wedding at Glacier National Park. Very friendly and hospitality hosts.

Duck Lake Cabin

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin on Duck Lake. The property was very clean and the location was perfect for day trips into Glacier National Park. Would definitely stay here again.

Fully equipped cabin close to park entrances

We were very impressed with the cabin and the amenities. Having a washer/dryer was such a luxury! The place is fully equipped, including ponchos, bear spray, towels, dishes, etc. Highly recommend. Place is exactly as pictured

Excellent house and great location for visiting Glacier NP

The house on Duck Lake was a very serine property, and in an excellent location for visiting all the locations on the east side of Glacier National Park. The neighborhood was very calm and quiet, and the hosts were very friendly when we reached out to them.

Beautiful home

We stayed here for our yearly trip to Glacier National Park. The house was very clean and conveniently located to Many Glacier and St. Mary entrance to Glacier National Park. The view of Duck Lake was beautiful, and the daily visits from the owner's cat was a joy. She was a sweetheart. We look forward to staying here again!! daily visits from the cute little

Stay at east side of glacier national park

Wifi comes and goes, i couldnt find router so i believe owner owns the house next door and just gives u a not so great internet , house was clean, beds comfortable, a lot of towels if u need, took owner 3 days to reply to a question i had , other than that , stay was great bec of location

Can’t say enough amazing things about this stay. We loved Larry and Linda and the cozy homey hospitality of the cabin. The perfect spot to rest our heads after long days of exploring! Right on the lake. Grilled our fish outside and watched sunrise from the cabin. Nothing but great things. Will be coming back!

Home sweet away-from home!

This little cabin on Duck Lake served as a perfect base camp for our explorations of Glacier National Park. Larry and Linda were wonderfully welcoming hosts—such great communication and an extra sweet deal to have them right next door in case we needed anything. Cabin was clean, tastefully decorated in cabin decor, and filled with everything we needed to make our stay so enjoyable. We loved meeting Alice too! Thank you SO much!

Beautiful sunrises and evenings on the deck.

Great access to GNP. A bit of a challenge to cook for 7 in the kitchen, but the deck space for dining was lovely and made it all worthwhile.

Duck Lake property

We loved our stay! Plenty of room for a family of 5 to spread out and relax. The porch overlooking the lake was lovely in the early mornings and evenings. Convenient to the Many Glacier and St. Mary’s entrances to Glacier National Park. We would definitely stay in this lovely home again!

Beautiful place close to Many Glacier

Roomy very nice place right on Duck Lake. Beds were comfortable. Well equipped kitchen. Beautiful view of lake from deck and yard. Good wifi, lots of dvds to use. Owners live right next door so were there quickly to fix any issues.

Great cabin - east side of Glacier NP

Cabin was great! Perfect location on the lake and close to the east entrance of Glacier. Cabin had all the amenities (including visits from Alice the next door cat!). Wasn't a huge option for restaurants but 2 Sisters Cafe was excellent - great menu and even better service (lunch & dinner only)! The Leaning Tree had a fantastic breakfast. Local markets were close for buying food to cook at the house. Highly recommend this place!!

Fantastic Stay - Perfect Location

Linda and her husband were great hosts and the house couldn’t have been better for our trip to Glacier National Park. Just a 20-30 drive to East side entrances. The house looked just liked it was photographed. Plenty of kitchen supplies for evening dinner cooking. We appreciated the bear spray available for use (luckily went unused) and the hospitality of the hosts. Added bonus with the house was the frequent visits of their feline friend, who was sweet as can be, anytime we were outside enjoying the lake views. Highly recommend this location to anyone!

Lovely well appointed home close to East side of Glacier NP

We stayed for 5nights in May ,2024. We enjoyed the proximity to the East entrances to Glacier National Park- perhaps 30 minutes to Many Glacier or St Mary’s. The three bedrooms , full kitchen and back porch overlooking Duck Lake were perfect when we came back from a day of hiking or driving. Linda and Larry are wonderful hosts and Alice and her big brother dog, Fluffy, who live next door made occasional friendly visits. I think that made the stay EVEN BETTER! The home is built with a modern lodge flair and cleaned perfectly. The 1 hour trip up to Canada’s Waterton Park is also very convenient and worth the day trip. I’d stay here again upon visiting the area. East side is so much less congested than west side. Apple Maps directs you well. Google maps gets a little confused.

Great cabin close to Many Glacier

Really loved the location of this cabin. Took about 25 minutes to get to Many Glacier. Cabin was clean and beds were comfortable. Wish there was a little more room to sit in the family room, especially with room in the house for 8. Maybe get rid of the chair and small table and do another sofa or L shaped sofa. We had 7 and one bathroom wasn't an issue. Loved the deck. The water was very soft and had a sulphur smell, hard to feel clean and even harder to drink. Not an owner issue since I'm sure that is just the area, but probably bring your own water to drink. Food in the area is an issue. We liked the pizza place and Two Sisters but everything is so expensive, especially groceries. So if you can, bring your own. Would stay here again. Owners were great and responsive.

Charming Cabin near Many Glacier Entrance to Glacier National Park

We LOVED our stay at this Lakefront Cabin on Duck Lake near the entrance to Many Glacier and St. Mary gates for Glacier National Park. Besides staying at the Many Glacier Lodge I can't imagine you could find a better place to stay that is within a few miles of each entrance. This is a brand new cabin built by the owner and he did an amazing job. It has all the right amenities and with two bedrooms and a loft (with two beds), this cabin has enough room for you to spread out as a family with plenty of room for your hiking gear. The owners are a really nice couple who took great personal care of us while we were staying there. It's important for you to load up on groceries upon your arrival into Kalispell or any other airport because there are no well-stocked grocery stores nearby. The best restaurants are at Many Glacier Lodge, Swiftcurrent Motor Inn, Two Sisters, Johnson Cafe, and Rising Son Pizza. We did not eat at Park Cafe or Glacier's Edge Cafe but we heard both were good. Best hikes are Swiftcurrent Pass, Iceberg Lake, Grinnell Lake/Grinnell Glacier, Cracker Lake, and St. Mary/Virginia Falls.

Excellent house for Glacier hiking trip

Place was nearly perfect for a guy hiking trip. Beds were comfortable, dead quiet, really nice porch overlooking the lake. It is important to know that the Internet is poor. Couldn't watch videos, stream anything, or check in for flights unless we had Verizon service.
