Detta 4000 kvm Victorian har 3 badrum och 6 stora sovrum plus en håla på första våningen med en queen-size bäddsoffa. Det finns tillräckligt med sängar för 16 personer, men gott om utrymme för luftmadrasser. Det finns en 24'x24 "privat brygga för bad och båtliv. Det finns också kajaker och en paddel styrelse för din användning. Med en lång cirkulär uppfart det finns gott om plats för parkering och gott om utrymme för att manövrera din släpvagn. Njuter göra måltider i det rymliga köket eller grillning upp en fest på 6 brännare propan grill. Sedan sitta ner för en picknick utanför vid picknickbord eller inne i det stora matbordet. Vi ligger inom gångavstånd till byn Old Forge. Vi har också Tivo på 3 tv-apparater i huset. De flesta tv-apparater och Blu-Ray-spelare är också inrättas med Netflix, HBOGo, Vudu, Hulu, och Amazon Prime. Gratis Wifi är på lokaler och omfattar huset väl.
För vinteraktiviteter, vi ligger inom 3 miles från McCauley Mt för skidåkning, inom 5 miles från snöskor och längdskidspår på Fern Park, inom .25 miles från Trail 5 för skoter och gas fyller upp. Det finns en stor
garage som kan lagra massor av slädar, och med en lång cirkulär uppfart det finns gott om plats för parkering och gott om utrymme för att manövrera din släpvagn. . Gå ut genom din dörr, hoppa på din släde och njut över 380 preparerade miles av Central Adirondack Trails!

Incredible experience!!!!

The house was awesome. Everything was provided and the home is impeccably decorated. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the view was second to none. I was walking around the property in the evening and two deer walked right up to me as if I wasn't even there.

Extended family Christmas gathering

The house is beautiful, spacious and well equipped. The kitchen had everything that we needed to cook and feed our large crew. The kitchen, living room and game room provided good areas for group activities and bedrooms provided privacy when desired. It provided a good bonding experience for the three generations of our family.

This property is absolutely fabulous !!! Description and photos are spot-on.....Beautifully maintained and a huge house for the whole family to spread out. The 3rd floor game room took this property over the top !! I would highly recommedn this property to any large family looking to spend time at Old Forge .

Wow, What a View!!!

This is the perfect place for a large group gathering; so many bedrooms and multiple beds in some. The home is comfortable with large seating areas and all of the utensils you would need. I loved that it was close enough to walk into town if you need some exercise or a very short drive if you choose. The peaceful porch and dock were the preferred gathering places for our group with a lovely view of the lake and the feeling that you are isolated.

Beautiful home

We loved this property. The location was great. Very close to the shops and right on the water. Beautiful home and fully equipped. We did not need anything. The only negative is there are a lot of stairs inside and outside. However it would not stop us from staying there again.

Old Forge Family get away

This is a older lake house in perfect condition and very well suited for a large family or group. The location is right on the old forge pond/channel and also very walkable to town. The owners have spared no expense in insuring their guests a comfortable stay with every amenity they’ll ever need. We would definitely return!

Sibling Trip at Tucked Away

This property was much better than we expected. Every room in the house was very spacious. Everything that we needed and more was available to us. We would highly recommend this home. The location was very close to town. The fire pit and the dock were perfect!

Great location and great house

We had a family getaway with four generations under one roof and this house has something for everyone. The kids loved the game room ( not so much a room as it is the entire third floor!! Bubble hockey was the clear favorite). They also loved fishing, kayaking and the swing set. We did all the meals at the house and the kitchen has all the hardware you could hope for. The living areas and the front porch were great. The fall weather was perfect. We did a day trip to the Wild Center and everything worked out well!

The Gateway to Get-a-Way

I had done a lot of searching in three different areas of the state while looking to book and ended up in a place most familiar to me. Nestled in Old Forge, the gateway to what the ADK has to show and give you, this property was just what we all needed. Traveling from Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse, and Rome, we all enjoy getting away from the city from time to time but also need a bit of modern still within reach. This property, in this location, gave us that. Clean, huge, well decorated, well maintained, and well-manicured made it all well enjoyed. The owners were great to coordinate with and the amenities offered by them and their property left us wanting for nothing more. A nice dose of medicine for the soul that was as sweet as could be. Our thanks to the owners and the town of Old Forge.

Awesome house in Adirondacks, close to Old Forge

We had a wonderful stay at the house in Old Forge. There was plenty of activities, kayaks and stand-up water boards right on property. There was even a wide range of sizes of life jackets available for our use. The 3rd floor game room was wonderful and got a lot of use on rainy days. The wrap around porch was a huge hit. There have been many updates since we last visited there 4 yrs ago, including railings on the steps to the waterfront and dock. The house is well stocked. We look forward to visiting again. I would definitely recommend this property

Great Getaway

The Victorian house inside and outside was beautiful and peaceful! We enjoyed everything from the large dock, the beautiful and restful porch, the large and well equipped kitchen and dining room, and the big bedrooms. We played games, kayaked, took walks, enjoyed the hot tub, and went to the movies. The town is only minutes away, and the house is really "tucked away" for privacy and quietness. Owners were very accessible and friendly.

Gorgeous LARGE place on the lake

This is a HUGE house with All the amenities right on the lake. The hosts were always just a text away and VERY responsive. Great house for some family time . Lots to do very close by or do nothing at all and just relax. We will be going back!

Wonderful Escape!!!

The house was AMAZING! It was so nice to escape the chaos of the normal day to day. It was close enough to the town that we could run and grab a few things if needed, but was far enough away that it was quiet and relaxing. The rooms are all large and there was definitely enough space to comfortably sleep all. The kids loved the game room upstairs! The private dock was nice for fishing and the fire pit was great for the evenings. All in all and excellent stay in a beautiful house!

Beautiful Home on Old Forge Pond

This is a beautiful, very large home on Old Forge Pond. We would suggest booking with Lisa and Nate. The owners quickly responded to our questions . So many amenities, including the hot tub and a beautiful view from the dock. It was a cold weekend for October, so we spent much of our time inside. Plenty of space for 4 couples. We very much enjoyed our stay and will book again. Thank you.

Great space & Location

The listing doesn’t do justice to this home. Close enough to Old Forge to walk and see all the town has to offer, but not so close that you feel like you’re part of the constant activity. Beautiful home with many updates, HUGE dock with all kinds of water activities (kayaks, peddle boat, paddle boards and all the safety equipment). If the weather isn’t too good there’s lots of activities in the third floor game area and every TV has access to multiple carriers to watch anything!

Tucked Away

This was my first time renting from VRBO and what a way to start. Tucked Away is an incredible home, everything you could need was here. Right on the water. My 8 year old grandson loved fishing of the dock. We went Kayaking and paddleboarding ( which came with the house), had a fire all three nights and celebrated two of my sons birthdays. The kitchen and butlers pantry were well supplied. The frosting on the cake, so to speak, was the third floor game room. My grandchildren couldn't decide what to do first.
