In Town Vacation Home - Jim's Adirondack Home

Oavsett säsong, Old Forge, New York har något för alla! Detta hem ligger på Main Street. Koppla av på verandan eller matlagningen i trädgården.

Köket är fullt utrustat med disk, pannor etc. Matsalen har ett stort bord med plats för 10 bekvämt. Vardagsrummet är varmt och inbjudande. Om det är en regnig dag, så oroa dig inte, det finns gott om spel och det finns wifi och satellit-tv. Det finns tre sovrum. Sovrum 1 har två dubbelsängar, sovrum 2 har en dubbelsäng och sovrum 3 har en dubbelsäng och en uppsättning våningssängar. Det finns två badrum. På övervåningen har ett stort gammalt modekar med dusch. Det andra badrummet är i källaren som är nytt och har en dusch. Källaren har också två bäddar som kan användas för överflödande gäster.

Old Forge har varit Adirondack Mountains-destinationen som valts för generationer av besökare som letar efter allt från spänning, lugn och ro och särskilt romantik. Detta hem ligger nära allt. Strax under en mil till stranden och Water Park. Livsmedelsaffären ligger tvärs över gatan och om du vill äta ute är Keyes, The Old Mill, pizza och kinesisk mat bara en kort promenad bort. Det finns också en glassställ och minigolf bredvid. Kajakpaddlare kan komma in i floden på kort avstånd bakom huset. Old Forge är ett snöskoterparadis. Hit spåren direkt från huset. Skidåkning ligger i närheten vid McCauley

Main Street Stay

The house was clean and centrally located. We walked whenever we went to eat, shop, etc.Could not get the upstairs TV to work, which was very frustrating and disappointing.

Lovely house and a lovely location. The house was very clean and very well stocked with towels, Linens and every sort of kitchen Implement you could ever want. The house is located on the Main Road next to an ice cream parlor and mini golf. The front porch is excellent for relaxing and the backyard is spacious enough to have a game of soccer or frisbee! We were able to walk to town. The house was roomy and Light. The bathrooms are up to date with a beautiful claw tub in the upstairs bathroom. Would definitely stay here again.

Very nice old style Adirondack camp with Adk decor.

We felt like we were back in the fifties when camp was a camp, not a mansion! Well kept with everything you need. Fire pit in the back yard with deer walking through daily was pretty cool. Within walking distance to village of Old Forge. Clean with two bathrooms and three bedrooms. The landlords were very prompt in responding. The only thing I didn’t care for was the bathroom locations. One upstairs which was very handy and the other in the basement. Our family had a great time!

Convenient location

Just stayed for a couple nights with a family of five, fit comfortably with one extra bed. The second bathroom is in the basement so we all shared the upstairs bathroom. Nice size (seats 8) dining room table. Right next to a nice ice cream shop and mini golf course, both of which we recommend. Thank you Carolyn!

Comfy Cozy

My daughter, niece, myself and our dogs stayed here for a long weekend and it was so comfortable and cozy. Everything was very clean, appliances worked well and the beds were very comfortable. Roku Tv worked great to watch movies on rainy days and the location was super convenient. I would definitely recommend and can say we would definitely stay here again.

Great Location

This house has beds for 10-12 people. The house is old but nice. The location is great. You can walk most anywhere in town. The bed was comfortable and there is plenty of drawer/closer space. The only drawback to us was having to take your trash to a transfer station. It’s a distance outside town and the hours are 8 am to noon.

Family Vacation

The location of the house was great right next to an ice cream stand and putt putt! The grocery store was right across the street. We loved the home, older Adirondack house very inviting. Close to everything in town walking distance. We rented a boat for the day and spent a day at water safari. It was easy to contact the owner. Although we brought spot of food and kitchen ware there was a lot of extra kitchen stuff if needed. We loved outlet satay and would love to go back next year. The cost was reasonable plenty of room in the house.

Wonderful Adirondack feel cozy home

We all had a wonderful time and enjoyed our stay at the house, it was just right for us, close to everything (ice cream, groceries, miniature golf, and breakfast are right next door), clean and comfy. The front porch was a plus for people watching, Thank you !😁

Perfect location

This property is in a great location. You can walk to all of the stores and restaurants with ease. Quaint Adirondack home with plenty of room for a family! We would definitely rent again.

Amazing!

Our hosts were amazing from our first contact; they quickly answered our questions, as well as reached out prior to our visit to see if we needed anything. They were so kind. The home was beautiful and clean and comfortable and in an ideal location. I cooked meals for my kids and grands, and we enjoyed every minute we spent together. We will definitely be back and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable ADK experience!

SUCH a great place to stay--especially with kids!

We had a great time in Old Forge. This property was so conveniently located to everything you'd need... grocery store, gas station, ice cream shop, candy store, restaurants, etc. And only a little over a mile to Water Safari. The place itself was the perfect size. Great for plenty of kids. And a nice little backyard for playing outdoor games. It was clean and well stocked with dishes, towels, linens, etc.

Comfy Adirondack home in a convenient location

We had a great time staying in Jim's Adirondack Home. It was clean and ready for move in when we arrived. The owner was quick to respond to questions and very helpful. Everything worked out just as we'd expected. The location is very convenient if you want to explore the town. And with groceries across the street and mini-golf and ice cream right next door, you don't have to go far if you don't want to. Countless hiking trails, and even a dog park, are all within a few minutes drive. The location right on the main street means there can be a lot of traffic driving by on some days, but it was never enough to be a problem for us. We will definitely be looking to stay here whenever we return to Old Forge.

In Town Location

We had a great two night stay at Carolyn’s place in Old Forge. The location is right in town and within walking distance to all that Old Forge has to offer. The house is impeccably clean and well equipped. Definitely recommend!

The perfect Old Forge stay!

The location is absolutely perfect, walking distance to all the town shops and restaurants. There is an ice cream stand & Putt Putt right next door & a grocery store across the street! But don’t let all that convenience & being on the main strip fool you, the yard is private & beautiful & often gets visitors from the local deer. I brought my parents & nephew for their 1st time & could not have been more grateful for this perfect house. Enough rooms for multiple families, two showers & even a washer & dryer if you need it! We will definitely be back again :)

Comfortable and convenient

Very clean and every utensil and amenities needed were there and available. The location on Main Street across from the grocery store was perfect for our stay. Plenty of room and spent most of our free time on front porch! Enjoyed very much!

Old Forge in fall

We loved the location of this property. The house was perfectly clean. One of the cleanest I've stayed at! Beautiful, warm old fashion style. We loved the Deer in the yard eating from the apple tree.

Annual Girls Weekend

We had a great time. House is conveniently close to every thing. We all wished there was a bathroom on the main floor but other than that. Great stay!!! Manager was prompt which was great.

My brother Jim and his son purchased this property because they loved the Adirondacks and everything it had to offer in all seasons. He loved having people come to the home to visit and stay. He decorated the house with an eye towards the Adirondack look and to make it homey and comfortable.

They loved snowmobiling in the winter. Relaxing, hiking and kayaking in the summer. Jim and Casey like the convenience of the grocery store, restaurants, ice cream and mini golf all within an easy walk.
