Lyxlägenhet ovanför Hastings gamla stan

Lägenheten går ut mot trädgården i vårt edwardianska hus, ovanför den gamla staden Hastings. Det stora sovrummet har en bekväm himmelssäng, det andra sovrummet har fyra affisch våningssängar! Lägenheten har ett modernt kök med diskmaskin, ett badrum med duschkabin och ett ljuvligt vardagsrum med franska fönster och en mysig "eldkol" gasbrand för att värma dig efter en bracing höstvandring. Lägenheten är idealisk för fyra personer, men soffan i vardagsrummet omvandlas till en liten dubbelsäng för en eller eventuellt två. Det finns mycket att göra i och runt Hastings. Gamla stan, strandpromenaden och landsparken ligger bara en kort promenad bort, så om du vill ha antikviteter, strandkammar eller blustrande promenader, är du säker på att hitta mycket för att hålla dig upptagen. Går ner genom gamla stan till strandpromenaden och Jerwood Gallery tar cirka 15 minuter.

Perfect 1/2 way home break

Perfect location for 2 nights. The owners, Claire and Andrew made us very welcome and gave us helpful tips on what do do in Hastings. Very clean, comfortable accomodation and beautiful garden.

Good location, great space

Spotlessly clean and within a 5 minute drive of the beach/town centre or a 15 min walk away. Quiet location and spacious rooms. Very comfortable double bed. Lots of storage, equipped kitchen with basics - salt etc. On-street parking with spaces available. Great communication from hosts. Would book again!

Great hosts, great location

Second time we’ve stayed with Clare and Andrew as made so welcome on our last trip and this time was no different. The property is spotlessly clean and less than 15 minutes walk to the hustle and bustle of the old town. Great place to stay

Lovely long weekend in Hastings

Great property for a stay just near enough the old town and seafront to not having to take the car, kids loved the bunk bed and apartment was comfortable & had everything we needed. Friendly owners, we had a fab time.

Great location in hastings

A nice English stay over on our stop in Hastings. The location is beautifull, and a 10-15 minute walk brings to to the old hasting city center, from which you can reach all the attractions. Housing was clean and sufficient for the stay.

We were now guests for the second time in this well-kept, cozy accommodation with a view of the beautiful garden. The location is very quiet and perfect for walks into the old town and on the west and east hills. The landlords are very nice and helpful.

Absolutely spotless

Andrew and Clare are absolutely delightful hosts nothing was too much trouble for them.The apartment was very cosy and yet spacious absolutely immaculate throughout it’s ideally located and there’s even a slight sea veiw from two of the rooms.would definitely recommend this place and hopefully we definitely be coming back.

A perfect stay in Hastings

My husband and I had a perfect stay in the apartment of Claire and Andrew. Lots of room, a beautiful garden and lovely hosts. They made us feel very welcome in every way. Thanks! We love walking and enjoyed the nature reserve, the coastline, Hastings old town and buslines within walking distance from the house.

Wonderful apartment

The apartment is beautiful, spacious, and well maintained. The garden is absolutely gorgeous and made for a very relaxing and peaceful respite for our family after several days in London. The owners were very kind and attentive and the apartment is in a lovely neighborhood and an easy walk to shops and pubs. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Hastings.

I would come again!

I chose this accommodation because of the good reviews and I was not disappointed. The hosts were very friendly. The apartment was very clean and nicely furnished. In the kitchen was everything you needed. The garden is beautiful and it was wonderfull to have breakfast or just to sit there. We felt very comfortable.

Great location and hosts

Beautiful space, perfect as a base to explore the area. Garden is immaculate and with a lovely veranda area to sit outside. Clare and Andrew were welcoming and helpful. Well stocked kitchen with all the utensils you may need and also some condiments. Lovely bathroom with a great power shower and plenty of hot water. Bed was really comfortable. Lots of local information leaflets and games (plus Lego) to keep all ages entertained if the weather is not kind.

Great property with gorgeous garden

A lovely little break in a period property. Comfy beds with quality bed linen, good shower and delightful lounge looking over the beautiful garden. Would have liked to have walked to the old town and seafront but the weather was too bad unfortunately. A short drive takes you to the front and the quaint old town with an array of antique shops, restaurants and coffee shops.

Lovely house with garden

Warm welcome we received from Clare and Andrew. Absolute lovely people to talk to. Clare helped us for our trip and informed us with a perfect kids walk up to the east cliff. House is perfect for a family (we have 3 kids). We could use the garden and had breakfast there in the sunny morning. We absolutely enjoyed this garden! Easy walk to the Hastings center.

Very happy in Old Hastings

My partner and I stayed for a weekend break at the end of April and a had a lovely relaxing time. Flat is light and airy, clean, modern with a very comfortable 4 poster bed. Lounge opened out onto a peaceful garden, great for drinks as the sun went down. Well situated for visits to Battle, Rye and to walk into Old Hastings. Would definitely recommend at least a weekend as plenty to see and do. Thank you Andrew and Clare.

Lovely Flat!

I am not sure where to start...this was a great base from which to explore Southeast England. Beautiful flat with comfy beds overlooking a lovely garden and view of Hastings. I was a little worried with our 6 foot boys that they would struggle with the bunk beds but they had no issues.We found on street parking was always available. A small grocer around the corner is nice and laundry is not to far away.

Our vacations in Hastings

The appartment is very beautiful, cosy, clean and calm and ideal for a family with kids. The owners Clare and Andrew are very friendly and helpful and supported us out with maps and recommendations about the area and train and bus-use. We traveled with our own car from Germany and it is possible to park close to the house. It is okay to use the pretty garden.. We really, really want to recommend this offer! We had a perfect stay there at Clares and Andrews house and want to say thank you for all. We would like to come back, if we come back to Hastings / Sussex.
