Tidigare en högt värderad bed and breakfast, är Log Castle nu tillgänglig för uthyrning av hem. Byggt med stockar som skördats från familjens egendom, är Log Castle en varm och välkomnande fristad för din familj och vänner. Dess eklektiska design, fantastisk utsikt över vattnet från de flesta rum och läge vid stranden gör det till en idealisk bas för din semester. Njut av sandstranden, med en bred sandbar, små (barn) kajaker för paddling, en simningflotte och miles av lågbefolkad strand. Om din timing är bra kan du till och med titta på valar som ytbehandlar i viken precis utanför däck. Köket har nyrenoverats med rostfria apparater, bänkskiva i granit och 180 graders utsikt över vatten. Den stora öppen spis i vardagsrummet ger en bekväm och mysig tillflyktsort. Miles av vandringsleder sträcker sig genom skogen tvärs över vägen. Vi har en bifogad, ockuperad lägenhet, så tyst tid krävs efter 22:00. Den charmiga byn Langley ligger en och en halv mil bort - en fem minuters bilresa eller en promenad längs stranden - med affärer, gallerier, restauranger och mer. En höjdpunkt i Log Castle är att köket och två sovrum är vardera i det åtttsidiga tornet - försök att inte diskutera vem som får det övre tornrummet med dess fenomenala vyer. Fiske och bad (särskilt när tidvattnet har kommit över en solig sandstång) - skapar underbara familjeminnen.

The Log Castle was everything we could have hoped for. The rooms were clean and quaintly decorated, and there were breathtaking views from every single room! I could not recommend this home more.

We had a wonderful time at the Log Castle. Lea and Dennis were very friendly and welcoming hosts. The log castle was a fascinating place to stay, with an interesting history. Got to see seals, herons, and the special treat was a gray whale came right up to shore two evenings to feed. Highly recommend!

What a cool house!! We loved our time at the log castle! The views were incredible, hospitality excellent, and great company. The house is quirky and unique (built with wood from the property!). Lea was so kind—one morning she went crabbing and even boiled up a crab for our crew to try. We had the best time. Thank you again.

Such an incredible and unique property, with terrific hosts and easy check in/out. Perfect accommodations for our group of 7 adults and 6 children. Miles of private beaches steps away from the house (we were the only people on the beach throughout our stay). Several seals camped out in front each night, and a pair of bald eagles were nesting in a tree right next to the house. Truly magical property all around.

Our stay at the Log Palace was fabulous! It was our second time staying there yet there were new details noticed in the incredible architecture. The host is super friendly and answered questions about how her father was able to build this building almost single handedly.

We loved our time at the Log Castle. It was such a unique place, and the views!! We used the kayaks, and the kids loved playing on the beach with the sand toys. The kitchen is very well stocked for preparing meals. The hosts were great, and communications and instructions were prompt and clear. We only stayed 2 nights, and we can’t wait to return for a longer stay!

Our family had a wonderful stay at the Log Castle. It was great for the kids to play and for the adults to relax. Lea was a warm host and even made us pies from the berries we collected from her berry plants.

Oceanfront Delight

This log castle does not disappoint! All bedrooms have a bathroom which is great. Beds are comfy. View is stunning and household amenities are plentiful. Owners are always accessible. Highly recommend this stay!

Fantastic as always

This has become an annual tradition for a dozen of us that meet up every year and play board games for a long weekend. The house is fantastic, the views are beautiful, the hosts are wonderful; it’s just an all-around great spot.

This property has been in our family for almost 90 years. 45 years ago, our parents built the Log Castle, designed by our mother and built, for the most part, by our father. Construction used logs harvested from family property and logs and stones collected from the beach. Our parents shared their home with others first as a small retreat center and then as a Bed and Breakfast. We want to continue this hospitality through VRBO.
