We loved being on the canal. The sunrises were stunning and we saw harbor porpoises, sea lions, seals and a family of river otters. We loved the close proximity to Chimicum and Port Townsend. Great peaceful stay!

The house was everything advertised and more. Great views, lots of space for guests to spread out inside and out, direct access to a beautiful and ever-changing beach and all the wonderful views of the Puget Sound and Hood Canal with birds of all kinds, otters, seals, sea lions, and picturesque sunrises. The host was great with staying in touch with us before, during and after our stay and the location is great with easy access to Port Gamble, Port Townsend and Olympic National Park. Great Place to stay!

This was a fantastic spot for us to gather, close to our family, and a lovely setting. The floorplan suited our group of 9 perfectly. We enjoyed fishing, watching wildlife from the deck, and seeing a submarine exit and re-enter Hood Canal. The house was well supplied, we wanted for nothing. Communication and access were quick and easy. We look forward to returning!

This is a wonderful home and location. So much space and comfort. It feels like I’m on a private island. The beach is sandy and great for water activities and my grandchildren love digging in the sand and hunting for sea glass at low tide. And of course the view is amazing. Being on Hood Canal is also interesting as you can occasionally see Naval ships being escorted back to base. This was our third stay here with our family of 10 and we hope to make this an annual trip for many years to come!

Amazing house and location. We were a family of 10 with four little kids who spent endless hours playing on the beach watching the Seattle and the Eagles. Easy access to Port Townsend where we took a ferry over to Whitby Island went to Lake Crescent and hurricane Ridge. We had a fabulous time. The location is perfect an hour and a half drive from SeaTac. the house itself is so comfortable for all our family. It had everything we needed and the management response and services were top-notch. Highly recommend !

This home is definitely a peace of paradise. This property has become an annual tradition for our family. Everyone in our party enjoys it so much they ask to return. The hosts are very accommodating and we feel welcome and appreciated as return guests. What we like best is the panoramic view from every room. We see sea otters, eagles, fish jumping and even whales on one occasion. Our grandsons love the beach in front and spend hours there. The home is stocked with everything we need, is clean and spacious, TVs in the bedrooms and an extra kitchen and living room downstairs a bonus.

We were in town for my daughter's wedding in Port Gamble. We looked for a home that would house our family/friends from WA, AK and AZ. The host was gracious enough to allow us to host a brunch for those checking out of their accommodations prior to their later flight times. The large kitchen/dining room, living room and doors opening to the deck was perfect for this. The living room is sunken so if stairs are an issue, bear that in mind. Plenty of seating indoors and outdoors. Easy to get to the beach.

The host was very welcoming, the home had stunning views, and the check-in and check-out were a breeze. The home was tidy and clean, and the experience was smooth and hassle-free! This was our 11th year staying at Ann’s home. The size of the house, the number of bedrooms and bathrooms are perfect for our large family. We found the house to be spic and span upon our arrival, complete with some extra special touches celebrating our 11th year staying there. We were told ahead of time that the main floor oven wasn’t working, but the one downstairs was so there were no surprises there. Our Little People love the beach and enjoy it all day long long!! Years ago the named the large rock formation right out front “Whale Rock” because of its shape. There was much fishing taking place from that rock!! Beach walks, paddle boards, a treasure hunt, a girls only walk to “Mermaid Cove”, sand castle building contests, movie nights…and the list goes on!! Ann has always been a gracious host and working with her granddaughter was just as delightful! It’s always sad when we leave at the end of our week, but we leave with thankful hearts for Ann and her family sharing this perfect location with our family.

The host was welcoming, well-organized, communicative, and helped greatly with check-in and check-out. They were very pleasant and helpful. The home was beautiful, in pristine condition, and spacious. The location was gorgeous and there was a lot to do in town! This was a beautiful home, excellent value, and would stay here again!

Perfect family getaway

Our stay was wonderful! It was clean and comfortable, right on the beach, and the views were amazing. Accommodations were perfect for our family. We love the area and hope to stay again someday.
