Wonderful place to stay in Central London

We found the accommodations to be as depicted in the VRBO listing. Outstanding checkin process and within walking distance of the Ritz Hotel, the Lotus, Bentley, Porsche and other high end brands. Within walking distance of many UK London sites to see. Loved it! Bob Rohrbach

Great place!

Four of us stayed here for 5 nights and loved it. Great apartment, location and service. Very comfortable place with great amenities. Everything worked well, including the air conditioning units, that according to some previous reviews have been faulty. Would def stay here again!

Girl's Trip

Perfect location! Great for four girls with the two bathrooms. Easy to work with the property management team. Only disadvantage, at the time of our stay, major construction going on outside on our street! But with the windows closed, virtually soundproof! Loved, loved, loved the flat, location and working with Nick. Definitely need to stay again and again....

Heart of Mayfair

In what is probably the best location in London, easy access to all transportation, sights, shopping, and theatre, this Dover St. flat is exactly as advertised - everything you could need, plenty of written communication available to figure out the climate controls, appliances, etc. and rapid responses from property managers when questions came up. Food and groceries a few minutes away, redundant wifi services -we'll be staying here again when we return to London. Inside tip, try the pub next door, The Clarence, for dine-in or takeaway; good traditional British options.

Fantastic location and spacious flat

Enjoyed our 5 night stay in this perfect location. Safe, noise not bad for the area (weekend parties upstairs were a little rowdy but not enough to disrupt the whole night). Had an issue with a clogged toilet addressed within a few hours. I would definitely stay again though the apartment could go to 5 star plus perfection with a few extras such as better bed linens, new carpet, a couple extra rolls of toilet paper. You can’t beat the location and size for this area of London. Nick and team took good care of us.

Great Flat in Ideal London Location

This flat is in the absolute best location in London - Mayfair is a fabulous neighborhood & the location of this flat in paticular - 1/2 a block from the Ritz - is conventient to everything. The flat itself was ideal for 2 couples traveling together - plenty of space, good layout, well-appointed. Bathrooms are spacious & updated. Windows are sound-proofed so you don't hear any street noise. The building has lots of security & an elevator (great after long days of sight-seeing!). A few minor nits (tv in lounge didn't work, problem with the freezer) did not detract from our stay. Nick & Viktor were helpful, responsive, & very easy to work with. We would stay in this flat again in a heartbeat.

Great Location and Communications

We really enjoyed our stay here. Perfect layout for 2 couples traveling together. We were there for about 3 weeks so we were really able to get to know the area. The Green Park Station is just steps away, and you don't even have to cross Piccadilly for an entrance. This gives you access to the Victoria, Piccadilly and Jubilee lines which is super convenient. A nice pub at the corner gives you a great place for a pint and an M&S gives you essential groceries. It's just across the Park from Buckingham Palace and is really one of the best locations in Central London. There was someone who met us upon our arrival to give us keys, explain a few things etc which was a big plus. We struggled on giving the property a 4 or 5 but there were a couple of things we just couldn't ignore. There was some mold in the showers that needs to be dealt with. Even with double windows, it can get noisy in the bedrooms late at night which should be expected when staying in a central city location. However, the AC issues we kept experiencing were the real issue. The property manager responded promptly but we fought the AC system the entire visit. We had to open windows on 2 nights, which was miserable because of the street noise. If those minor things were resolved, we would have no problems giving this location a solid "5" stars. I wouldn't hesitate to rebook.

Great location for the West End

This location cannot be beat for access to the West End without actually being right in those crowds. We went across Piccadilly for Venchi's thick hot chocolate every morning, stopped in at Richoux for breakfast, and had our coffee at Paul's. All these were within just a block or two. Fortnum & Mason and The Ritz were lit for Christmas making the walk home each evening a lovely experience. I have stayed in London properties handled by this manager at least three times. He does such a good job that I actively look for his name as manager when making a decision about where to stay. Couldn't have a better team to help you check in and check out. Very nice stay.

Great location but basic maintenance needed

This was an ideal location for our Wed through Mon stay in London. The decor is dated but quaint and comfortable, making us feel as though we had borrowed a grandparent's place for the weekend. We enjoyed having breakfast at restaurants nearby and then set off on foot for the day's adventures - it really is an ideal central location. When I booked, Nick was prompt in communicating check in details and kindly allowed me to check in early. Viktor was right on time to meet me for check in and showed me around the flat, and made sure that I understood how everything worked. Our only issue: we had paid for a two bathroom flat and only one of the bathrooms was in good working order. The shower in the master bath was not usable due to what had to be a longstanding clogged drain that meant that the shower pan filled to the brim immediately. One of the faucets was loose and it usually took three flushes to get the toilet to work. The fire alarm was disconnected and sitting on a hall shelf - most likely due to a battery that needed replacing. We followed the instructions on the flat's information sheets to have these items taken care of, sending an email on Friday morning to the designated contact and following up later that afternoon with a phone call to the designated contact, and left a voicemail. Unfortunately we never heard back from them and checked out on Monday. I let Nick know that we were disappointed but if you are interested in renting this flat I would make sure that these items have been addressed prior to your arrival.

Great Mayfair Apartment

For our family of four, this was the nicest city apartment that we have stayed in. Everything is clean, the rooms were larger than we expected given its central location, and both bathrooms appeared to be recently remodeled and were in perfect working order. The kitchen was large enough to easily handle breakfast and could probably serve for lunch or dinner. We didn't cook, but did bring carry out in a couple of times, and the large table in the living room gave us plenty of room to spread out. The dishwasher worked well. We used the combined washer/dryer several times, and it functioned well, which was much appreciated since we packed light for this trip. It has a relatively small capacity, and does take some time, but for getting the necessities clean, it was just fine. The living room was comfortable and there was plenty of room for our group of four to relax. The beds were good quality, and the larger room was plenty of space for my wife and me. Our 14 and 12 year old girls shared the other bedroom and found it fine for their needs. The apartment has air conditioning in both bedrooms and the common area that can be easily adjusted. It got hot several days, but the AC easily kept the apartment from getting stuffy. The building is modern and has an elevator. There are several layers of security, though the area feels safe. The location is great for exploring London. It is only a couple of blocks to the Green Park tube stop. Three different lines pass through making it easy to get where you want to go. It's about a 15 walk to Covent Garden. There is a nice pub a couple of doors down, which was great for a relaxing pint after a day out. The area though is quiet at night, and no outside noises bothered our sleep. Overall, it was a great, reasonably priced stay.

Luxury and comfort in Mayfair

Now, I haven't stayed at the Ritz - which is just across the street - but I'm betting it's at least as nice and a much better value! Large two-bedroom flat with wonderful bathrooms, comfortable furniture and incredibly quiet for central London. Nick is very helpful and responsive.
