Lovely villa in quiet surroundings

We had a wonderful stay at this villa just outside Gallipoli. It is well situated to explore the surroundings of Puglia. We loved the very large pool and the well equipped villa. Alessio was very helpful with everything and gave us help very quickly.

A wonderful villa and host

The villa had great facilities including a large pool/area, tennis court and outdoor spaces. It had a homely feel with all the necessary essentials including dishwasher/ washing machine. The rooms were large and comfortable. Everything worked well and we had an extremely enjoyable and comfortable stay. The villa is very conveniently located with easy access to many of the nearby towns. The host, Alessio, was warm and friendly and spoke English reasonably well, which helped enormously. He was knowledgeable and engaging - happy to make recommendations for places to visit and organise reservations for us and suggested local delicacies for us to try. Alessio went above and beyond as a host which truly made our stay memorable. We felt comfortable and had a wonderful time and would visit again - in fact we didn't want to leave!

Perfect!

Our stay here was wonderful. Our family-kids, grandkids, grandparents all really enjoyed it. Our host Alessio is a super host! Communication with Alessio was great. He was very attentive to our needs and was always available to us. He took time at check in to explain the home and answer all our questions. He welcomed us with a basket filled with wonderful local fruit. The home is set up well for a family or group with lots of room. The kitchen was well equipped and we did cook a lot. We really appreciated that the whole house had window screens. Air conditioning worked great. We used it generously and the added charge was minimal. The laundry setup was very helpful too. The dining room easily seats 8 and the living room has comfortable seating as well. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. Our grandkids loved the large bathtub. The true highlight of this wonderful country home was the large pool. The pool was sparkling clean and the water temperature was perfect. The pool area is set up well with lots of lounge chairs and a table for 6-8 to sit around under a covered pergola. Also the pool is fenced, gated and can be locked which is good when you have small children. Loved the foosball table! This home is in a secluded gated rural area. Very quiet, peaceful and tranquil. The town of Gallipoli is just 10 minutes away and many sandy beaches 10-15 minutes away. Same for groceries and gas. This home and its wonderful host made many happy memories for our family.

Tolle Anlage und sehr netter Gastgeber

Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Alles war wie beschrieben und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Der Gastgeber hat sich sehr gut um uns bekümmert. Man hat zwar keinen Meerblick, aber die Lage ist sehr gut, da die Stadt und viele Buchten in 15 Minuten erreichbar sind. Das Haus und der Garten sind in sehr gutem Zustand und sauber geplegt. Nur zu empfehlen.

Nice villa and excellent pool

Very nice villa in the countryside. Alessio is a kind host who did everything to make our holiday enjoyable. It is clear he looks after the villa very well, and it had recently been fitted out with new windows, mosquito nets on all windows and doors, and new air conditioning in all rooms. The pool is a very good size and large enough for proper swimming. The tennis court is a really nice addition and is in reasonable condition. You will need a car to get here, and the villa is located down a narrow single track road. There is an extra charge for linen, and also for the electricity for air conditioning (this wasn’t expensive and very worthwhile). Nearby, the old town in Gallipoli is nice for eating and drinking. There are many good beaches nearby, with some longer excursions also worth doing (in particular Otranto).

Fun in the Sun

My requirements for our holiday were big pool, bbq and air conditioning- All were great! Massive pool with diving board kept everyone cool. Big bbq with logs on site to help yourself to. Air conditioning in every room which is a must in the Summer. Alessio was very helpful with great recommendations for restaurants. Gallipoli old town is lovely with great fish restaurants. Some beautiful sandy beaches with turquoise sea nearby. We had a lovely stay.

Excellent villa with wonderful large pool in peaceful location with very helpful host

Met by the host to guide us to the property and show us around. He kindly left a welcome pack which was much appreciated. The villa is very spacious and has wonderful outdoor seating both by the house and the pool. The pool was extremely large with good mixture of poolside seating. The villa is conveniently situated for the beach and for the many fish restaurants in Gallipoli. The host, Alessio is extremely friendly and helpful. When we had a problem with the hired car we would have been stuck without his help and solution. Our thanks to Alessio for a great stay.

Vacances chez alessio

Nous venons de passer 14 jours dans la splendide maison d'Alessio. Les photos sont la réalité et il n'y a aucun " piège" Tout était parfait: l'accueil, la discrétion d'alessio mais toujours là si nous avions une question où un service, bref : top classe Nous avons beaucoup profité du tennis et de la piscine . Plages à 4-5 minutes en voiture et Gallipoli à 6-7 minutes Nous recommandons vivement cet endroit Merci infiniment alessio.

Very relaxing stay!

We had a wonderful time at this villa. It was very quiet, and peaceful. The swimming pool was fabulous and as my daughter said in her own words was "the highlight". There is a lovely shaded area where we ate and another shaded area by the pool, The tennis court was also a big hit! So too was the BBQ. Even though the villa is about 10 minutes from the city centre and old town, it was not too remote and Alessio and his lovely mother Ada were on hand if we needed anything. They were very helpful if we needed any advice on the area or if we required any recommendations. There are many beautiful beaches nearby and lots of towns and places to visit. Would love to return.

Wunderschönes Anwesen mit persönlichem Touch

Wir (2 Erwachsene + 2 Kinder, 3&10Jahre) durften 1 Woche im Juli zu Gast bei Alessio und seiner Mutter in der Villa Le Castellane sein. Das Anwesen ist sehr günstig in der Nähe von Gallipoli und diversen Stränden gelegen. Man erreicht Santa Maria di Leuca, Lecce, die Ostküste oder auch die fantastische Punta Prosciutto alles in unter 1h mit dem Auto. Alles war genau so wie beschrieben: schön eingerichtete Zimmer, top ausgestattete Küche, riesiger 3m tiefer Pool, Tennisplatz, Grill, überdachter Parkplatz - alles nur für uns!!! Man kann vom benarchbarten Bed&Breakfast profitieren, z.B. mit frischen Cornetti 🥐 am morgen oder einem Kochservice... Bettwäsche und Strandtücher wurden uns ebenfalls zur Verfügung gestellt. Klimaanlage in den Schlafzimmern funktionierte top und verbrauchte nur ca. 25€ in 1 Woche (nur nachts eingeschaltet). Alessio ist wunderbar und hat uns viele Tipps gegeben. Er war immer sofort da wenn wir Fragen hatten. Wir können Le Castellane sehr empfehlen, auch für Familien mit Kindern, und hoffen dort bald einmal wieder selber zu Gast zu sein.

Un excellent choix

La maison, l'extérieur et la piscine sont conformes à la description et aux photographies. Grande piscine, terrain de tennis fonctionnel et espaces extérieurs particulièrement spacieux + barbecue de grande taille. Grande tranquillité (la maison est située sur un petit chemin de campagne sur la route de Gallipoli). Alessio est très sympathique et serviable et sa famille vous accueille avec un large panier de fruits et légumes bio directement issus de leur jardin. Cuisine bien équipée, salles de bain en bon état, chambres ok, grande télévision, climatisation, moustiquaires. A recommander !

Traumurlaub in Apulien

Wir haben zum dritten Mal bei Alessio einen super erholsamen Urlaub am Pool und auf dem Tennisplatz verbracht. Das Haus hat eine absolute Alleinlage und das Meer ist in ca. 10 Minuten mit dem Auto erreichbar. Die 4 Schlafzimmer sind perfekt für eine Gruppe mit 8 Personen, bei Bedarf können zwei weitere Zimmer dazu gebucht werden. Alessio ist ein sehr zuvorkommender Gastgeber, der alle Probleme sofort löst. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Che bella vacanza!!

Siamo stati ospiti di questa bellissima villa per una decina di giorno. E' stata una esperienza meravigliosa: la villa è bella, comoda e accogliente. E' adattissima anche per più famiglie. Ada e Alessio sono veramente carinissimi, discreti, ma sempre a disposizione. La consiglio a tutti e mi ripropongo di tornarci appena possibile. Maddalena, Francesco e tutto il gruppo di Firenze.

PARFAIT

Tout était parfait. Toutes les prestations et photos sont conformes à ce qui est annoncé. La villa et la piscine sont très agréables,mais le plus agréable,ce sont les propriétaires.Alessio et Dana(Mama) sont très accueillants et toujours prêts à rendre service.Tous les matins,Dana arrive avec toutes sortes de croissants et pâtisseries pour le déjeuner.Si vous voulez trouver un type d'endroit ou de commerce particulier,Alessio vous y emmene.Bref ils sont vraiment charmants et attachants.Si nous retournons dans les Pouilles,ce sera chez eux,c'est sûr. Séjour ideal dans les Pouilles

Très belle et agréable maison située pres des plages, à l'écart de la circulation et idéale pour visiter tout le sud des Pouilles. La maison est grande, sur deux niveaux, les chambres sont spacieuses, la literie bonne, deux salles de bain, cuisine bien équipée ... L'extérieur est propice aux vacances avec une très belle piscine, salon de jardin et terrain de tennis que nous avons utilisé chaque jour. Par eu le temps d'utiliser le barbecue! Nous étions sept et tous très satisfaits. Un grand merci a Alessio pour son accueil et son huile d'olive! Et aussi pour ses conseils concernant les restaurants. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié echanger avec lui. Un grand merci aussi à sa maman qui nous a régalés chaque matin. Et caresses aux chats. Suzanne.

Schön und friedlich - Beautiful and peaceful

Wir (Familie mit 2 Kindern: 9 und 13 Jahre alt + Hund) haben wunderschöne Tage bei Alessio verbracht. Das Haus bietet viel Platz und ist zweckmäßig ausgestattet. Alles war sehr sauber und für die Fußball-WM wurde ein neuer Flatscreen angeschafft. Hervorzuheben ist das riesige Grundstück mit einem sehr großen Pool (14x7m) und einem Tennisplatz. Alles nur für uns. Das ganze Grundstück ist ummauert, so dass wir unseren Hund den ganzen tag frei rumlaufen lassen konnten, ohne Angst haben zu müssen, dass er entwischt. das Haus liegt mitten in Felder, die teilweise bewirtschaftet werden. Man kann schön spazierengehen und hat immer absolute Ruhe und stört niemanden. Die Strände sind überwiegend felsig mit einigen schönen Sandbuchten. Gallipoli ist ca. 5 Autominuten entfernt und eine sehr hübsche Stadt. Auch die Umgebung (Lecce, Otranto) lässt sich mühelos erkunden. Alessio, der Eigentümer, wohnt nebenan, ist völlig entspannt und sehr hilfsbereit. Wer den weiten Weg nach Apulien nicht scheut wird mit idealen Voraussetzungen für einen erholsamen Urlaub belohnt. Accogliente e rilassante

Siamo appena tornati dopo aver trascorso quindici bellissimi giorni a La Castellana e già sentiamo nostalgia del Salento! la casa è molto confortevole ed accogliente e si trova in una posizione ideale per raggiungere sia le belle spiagge di Gallipoli che per visitare le altre interessanti località della zona. Il mare con i suoi colori maldiviani è cristallo puro e i tramonti sono mozzafiato. Anche la campagna, che circonda la casa, ha un suo fascino particolare con questi ulivi che raccontano con le loro strane forme la storia di questo territorio Italiano così affascinane. Un particolare ringraziamento va ad Alessio e Ada che ci hanno accolti in maniera splendida (verdure e dolcetti compresi!), persone deliziose che ci hanno fatto sentire a nostro agio in ogni momento. Consigliamo sicuramente una vacanza a La Castellana luogo ideale per ricaricare le batterie! Un abbraccio ad Alessio e Ada anche da parte di Barù che manda un bacio sul tartufo al suo amico Luis. Relax e divertimento

Siamo un gruppo di 9 amici e siamo stati alla villa la Castellana una settimana. Il fatto di essere numerosi non ci ha creato nessun problema in quanto gli spazi sono ampi ed ognuno può avere la propria indipendenza. La piscina è un must non indifferente e siamo riusciti a sfruttare anche il campo da tennis grazie alle racchette prestateci da Alessio il proprietario. Fantastiche le cene a bordo piscina e la grigliata, le partite a bigliardino e i fichi d'India. Fuori dal caos di Gallipoli ( che in Agosto è impraticabile) ma vicinissima alle spiagge e ai locali, il che ci ha evitato traffico e code. Great location!

I stayed in this beautiful Villa a week in June with my family and my brothers family (9 persons) and we had a truly great week. The house in perfect for larger groups with 4 master bedrooms and two separate bathrooms. It is perfectly located with 5-10 minutes by car to amazing white beaches and 5-10 minutes by car to the beautiful town of Gallipoli, yet with a secluded location. The house is very well kept and clean and we just loved the style of it! The days we were too lazy to move from the house, we relaxed by the large swimming pool (kids’ favorite), played tennis on the private tennis court (dads favorite) and had a late barbecue in the garden! Everything was just perfect. The only difficulty we had was actually finding the exit to the Villa from the motorway.-). The owner Alessio deserves a special mention. He is a very genuine and carrying person how you immediately trust and like. We arrived very late the fist night and had unfortunately not had the time for dinner. With out hesitation, Alessio jumped up on his motorbike and guided us to a local pizzeria, where he arranged for pizzas and drinks for take-away. Many thanks for that Alessio and for the rest of the great week! We will most certainly come back next year! A dopo, Mattias con familia
