En härlig fristående stuga som ligger bara 10 minuter med bil till den pittoreska byn Betws-y-Coed, känd som Gateway to Snowdonia.

Old Rectory Cottage har totalrenoverats till hög standard och smakfullt inredda för att gästerna ska ha en härlig vistelse i Snowdonia.

Stugan ligger på ett fantastiskt läge; Betws y Coed 10 minuter, Surf Snowdonia 5 min, Conwy 15 minuter. Plus fantastisk promenad och cykling, och bekvämt för Zip World.

Old Rectory Cottage ligger i en lugn miljö med fantastisk utsikt över Conwy Valley.

Bara en kort promenad till pubarna, restaurangen och slaktare / livsmedelsaffärer i byn Trefriw. Och den underbara Trefriw Woolen Mill är en promenad längs vägen.

Det finns många promenader från ytterdörren till fantastiska platser som sjöarna i Crafnant och Geirionydd så att du inte behöver köra.

The Old Rectory Cottage är perfekt för familjer och vänner med utrymme att koppla av och njuta av din semester. Stugan sover bekvämt 6 personer och är hundvänlig.

Nedervåningen finns ett stort köksdyn, ett badrum (med badkar och overhead dusch) och en härlig lounge med vedspis.

En 2: a lounge har utsikt över trädgården och uteplatsen, den kan också användas som ett privat 3: e sovrum genom att använda den stora bäddsoffan.

På övervåningen finns två stora sovrum med dubbla fönster med utsikt över Conwy Valley och ett annat badrum med duschkabin. Vi erbjuder valet av två superking-sängar som kan bestå av fyra enkelsängar om detta föredras.

Den privata trädgården har sittplatser, uteplats och terrass, plus en säker skjul för att låsa bort mountainbikes.

Det finns parkering för två bilar i uppfarten.

Hundar är mycket välkomna - meddela innan ankomst.

Access to the property could be very dificult for a person with restricted mobility. I may have missed this in the covering information, but I saw no reference to this. One of our party had a real problem getting from the road up to the front door.

A must place to stay in North Wales

A lovely place to stay in a lovely area. The views from the property are gorgeous. Rachael and Michael provide all the information before you stay and provide a much appreciated welcome pack. Good location for all the many activities North Wales has to offer. We definitely hope to stay again soon.

Lovely Wales

Enclosed garden excellent for dogs, beautiful mature shrubs. Good sized accommodation, as a party of 4 adults and a young baby had plenty of room to breathe. Lovely views looking across the hills, and cottage near to amenities. Overall stay was very good and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Just perfect

The cottage for us was just perfect, so clean and plenty’ of space and areas to chill inside and out. Vey well equipped. The location was so peaceful with an abundance of walks from the cottage and paddle boarding lake near by.

Wonderful!

We stayed at the cottage for a long weekend break. Booking couldn't have been easier and our hosts were really friendly and helpful. The cottage itself was clean and inviting with great views from all rooms. It was really comfy and warm and a great base for walking. We really enjoyed our stay and would thoroughly recommend the cottage if you're looking to holiday in the area.

Just amazing!!!

Didn’t know what to expect, first time in Wales as a family with two young kids, we wanted to work for everyone and everything we wanted to do, not only we were located in Trefriw (amazing village) but the cottage was just a “home away from home”. Perfectly located, super comfortable with everything I would want from home, all for a perfect price!! Definitely will return to the cottage

Excellent Cottage

The cottage was beautiful, with lovely views in a very friendly village, only 5 minutes easy walk to the fairy falls. There are 2 pubs very close both serving food , The Fairy Falls Hotel is Indian food, very nice. The Old Ship Inn does pub grub and real ales. Both were excellent for food .The cottage was spotless when we arrived and there was a lovely welcome pack. A lovely little sitting out area with tables and chairs again with the lovely views. A bonus a lovely summer house if you want a little piece and quiet or quiet drink. The kitchen was very well equipped and the bedrooms were big with very comfortable beds. I would highly recommend this cottage,(just a note there are 6 steps up to the cottage and no other way in) not a problem to us. All in all a beautiful cottage , we loved it and had a fantastic stay.

Clean and comfortable cottage in a picturesque and convenient location

Despite the wet and windy weather, we had a lovely holiday in North-Wales. The cottage was pretty, spacious, clean and comfortable, and it had everything we needed. The welcome pack with Welsh goodies left by Rachael and Mike made us feel welcome from the start. The view from the top of the hill is beautiful and Trefriw is conveniently located to do lots of sightseeing. We could not believe how impressive the Fairy Falls waterfall was - less than a one minute stroll from the cottage. The characterful Old Ship Inn had a good menu, fine food and a cosy atmosphere. If you'd like to eat at Chandler's Brasserie it is best to book beforehand as they were fully booked during our stay. To fellow travellers, we can recommend the Cwm Idwal walk which is spectacular. The Great Orme Tramway Funicular and a cream tea at The Lemon Tree (with Alice in Wonderland theme) in Llandudno are well worth a visit. Beddgelert is so quaint and picturesque, not to be missed. Portmeirion with its vibrant colours, impressive architecture and woodland walk is a lovely experience. And Betws-y-Coed is only a short drive from Trefriw and good for some shopping on rainy days, offering a few eateries and beautiful falls walks as well. We can definitely recommend a stay at The Rectory Cottage in Trefriw.

Wonderful Week in Trefriw

Old Rectory Cottage is situated in a beautiful, peaceful location but close enough to Llanrwst and Betws y Coed for groceries, shopping and food options. Llanberis and the Snowdon Mountain Railway is only 35 minutes and one of the most beautiful drives you will ever experience. Hosts Rachael and Mike have done an incredible job with this property. 3 large, spacious bedrooms each with a wonderful view. The kitchen is well stocked with everything needed to self cater and there is also a charcoal grill available outdoors. They also went the extra mile by decorating for my wife’s birthday. We particularly enjoyed sitting out on the deck enjoying the view and tranquility, the private garden and summer house. We loved our time here and cannot recommend highly enough.

Beautiful cottage and location

We loved our week at the cottage. All comms great. Cleanliness and covid process excellent. Arrived to a really nice message in the kitchen, eggs, milk, bread and even some cake left for us which was a really nice touch. Cottage had everything a family could need and everything was of a high standard. It is in a beautiful location and has beautiful views from the nice seated areas out the front. It is a perfect location with loads of walks on the doorstep. The maps left were incredibly useful for this. The village is great as well with a lovely little cafe and two great pubs. The cottage is also a stones throw from fairy falls…I proposed to my girlfriend there on the holiday and she said yes so an all around perfect trip! Many thanks to the owners for such a great stay.

Hi, we're Mike and Rachael. We live nearby the cottage. A few years ago we use to own a bed and breakfast in nearby Betws y Coed.

We enjoy walking in Snowdonia with our two dogs Boots and Benji. Mike is a keen golfer, whilst Rachael enjoys running and yoga.

Old Rectory Cottage is a very spacious detached house.

There are 3 large bedrooms both with double aspect windows. One bedroom is downstairs, with doors opening onto the garden and a Smart TV. In all the bedrooms, the beds can either be made up as superkings or singles.

The house has 2 bathrooms with a choice of shower or bath. One bathroom upstairs and one downstairs.

The lounge comfortably seats six people. There's a log burner and Smart TV.

The kitchen has views over the valley. From the kitchen step up into the dinning area which comfortably seats 6 people.

There is a small private garden with patio area and views over the Conwy Valley. The garden is secure making it great for dogs. There's a garden cabin for to relax in.

Driveway parking for two cars.

Old Rectory Cottage is great for families and friends. There's plenty of space with two communal rooms downstairs - kitchen/diner and the lounge.

The bedrooms are large. The superking beds can also be made up as single beds so there is flexible sleeping arrangements. Please notify Mike and Rachael in advance of arrival with your choice of bed configuration.

And you are not limited to having just the one bathroom - there are two bathrooms, one upstairs and one downstairs.

There are wonderful views of the Conwy Valley from house. It's lovely either relaxing in the garden with a glass of wine or keeping warm in the cosy lounge with the roaring fire in the wood burner.
