De ÄterstÄende sju stugorna behÄller sitt nÀstan ursprungliga skick som en visuell pÄminnelse om sin tidigare funktion. Varje renoverad stuga har den extra fördelen med gratis parkering och en sittgrupp utomhus.
BelÀget strax utanför Cleveland Way finns det mÄnga fina hedar och klipptoppar samt golfförbindelser i nÀrheten. Det finns ett fritidscenter 2 miles pÄ vÀgen och en 2-minuters promenad ner pÄ kullerstensgatan tar dig till mitten av den pittoreska fiskeby med sin lilla hamn som ligger inbÀddat under robusta klippor. GÄ tillbaka i tiden och gÄ de pittoreska smala passagerna, som kapten James Cook sjÀlv mÄste ha gjort. HÀr i Staithes finns bybutiker, pubar, kaféer och en restaurang. Varför inte resa med Harry Potter's Hogwarts Express (North Yorkshire Moors Railway) genom 'Heartbeat' land, eller besöka Whitby och dess berömda kloster som ligger 11 mil bort.
OBS: Eftersom de fyra stugorna ligger nÀra varandra kan de bokas för grupper pÄ upp till 24 gÀster. Ytterligare badrum tillgÀngliga pÄ platsen pÄ begÀran med Àgaren .. I Staithes, nÀra Whitby, finns det Life Boat helgen 16-18 augusti och Arts and Heritage Festival 7, 8 och 9 september.

We had a brilliant time at Captains Quarters which was much needed at this time. More than enough room for 6 of us with lots of lovely sofas to choose from. Sitting in the conservatory with coffee was a treat. Cosy and warm. Loads of cutlery and crockery. Lovely out-door space although our October weather was a bit windy. Ideal for dogs. We had a great visit.

We had a great visit. A pity it was a short break as we all could have been doing with a longer break. The Co-op was well stocked. We didn’t manage to explore the village but wish we had as one of our party thought the area was stunning. There is a lovely relaxed atmosphere and very rustic, cosy and welcoming. I can’t thank Sarah enough for ensuring all was good for us and she was only a call away, which we didn’t require but was good to know. I think I slept for the first time in months as soon as my head hit the pillows. We had a ball lounging around in our jammies shooting the breeze. Staithes all places dog friendley and the captains quarters you could let the dog in the garden where he was safe and couldnt get out.Sarah was great with everthing and just a phone call away. Our family of six plus dog had a great week. The lodge had loads of space for us all to spread out, comfy beds and a nice welcome basket. The secure garden area was handy for our dog as the weather was warm and we could leave the door open. We had a fantastic time here.

We had a fantastic time here. The area is splendid, with Staithes, Whitby and Scarborough all in easy reach, all with good beaches and places to eat. Captain Cook Inn and Cod and Lobster are perfect dinner prospects, both within easy walk. The property itself is spacious and well-laid out and appointed.

Really flexible and helpful owners. Great location, lots of room in the cottage for all, lovely and clean. Just scissors missing from kitchen which was a problem as all knives are a little blunt. This is only a little fault and by no means spoilt our stay. . . We will book to go back!

Wi fi would have been a good addition for those who feel the lack but it didn't bother us much - and mobile signal seemed good. Really enjoyed the stay.

The 11 of us (& the dog) had a lovely weekend celebrating a family birthday. Plenty of space for us to spread out in and Staithes is a beautiful place and a good spot to explore the surrounding area - and it’s fish n chips! The cottage was well equipped and the welcome and thoughtful goodies from Sarah were really appreciated, as was the local knowledge and advice on where to go and what to do (including the best spot for crabbing). Highly recommended!

Had a wonderful time 5 adults and 4 children plenty of room and a beautiful conservatory lovely to listen to all the birds singing Sarah was really helpful with lots of information about Staithes and surrounding attractions I would highly recommend this property as everything was clean and very well presented all the bedrooms were well maintained and comfortable
