Deer Lodge ligger på Tuckaleechee Retreat Center, en kristen egendom med 5 andra stugor. Denna vackra A-ram, välvda takhytt ligger i Dry Valley-området i Townsend, är lugnt och privat och ingår i Tuckaleechee Retreat Center. Ingången till The Great Smoky Nat'l Park, nationens enda fria nationalpark, ligger bara 20 minuter bort. Deer Lodge kan användas som en enda enhet eller som enhet kopplad till en reträtt eller återförening. Området är landsbygd med utsikt över bergen. Good location, average cabins

Check in process was very difficult, had to pick up the code from another spot and nobody was there to help out, nor did anyone answer the phone. Cabin was represented as a single cabin, but was actually 2 separate ones not connected to each other except from the outside. Cabin was very dimly lit, furnishings were old and worn. No shampoo was provided either. Would not recommend.

Great Trip

This was a great property with plenty of room for my entire family. The only real issue was there was only outdoor access to the down stairs bedrooms, no inside access.

Holiday get away

My family from Florida and Tennessee all enjoyed our experience at the retreat. Everyone is VERY nice, welcoming and helpful.

Not as updated as pictures make it appear. Also, a hour away from Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg so not close enough to come up in a search for those towns in my opinion. Clean mostly but could be cleaner (hair/dust/dead bugs in corners) and sheets have stains.

Loved our time in Deer Lodge

My husband and I along with our two daughters and their families (14 in all) thoroughly enjoyed our time in Deer Lodge. beds very comfortable. enjoyed the pool and hot tub and friendliness of the staff.

Comfortable Quiet Relaxing

The Deer Lodge cabin made for a perfect weekend getaway with extended family. The booking and check-in process was very easy and convenient. The cabin was very clean and well appointed. There was plenty of room for all of us and the beds were comfortable. The location is convenient to Pigeon Forge and other local shops, dining, and attractions; yet far enough from all of the tourists that you can get away. I highly recommend.

Very nice cabin!

Thanks for the great cabin rental. The space was perfect for our long weekend stay in TN! We enjoyed having a kitchen, a nice porch and balcony, and even the hot tub.

This cabin is in Townsend, TN which a peaceful town right beside the entrance to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park, one of the few free national parks in the U.S.!! We are nestled on the side of Little Mountain, overlooking the beautiful Dry Valley and Rich Mountain, where serenity abounds!

Townsend provides delicious restaurants, several options for river tubing, souvenir and antique shopping, museums, caverns, horseback riding, and more! The National Park has endless opportunities for hiking, biking, fishing, picnics, and viewing wildlife. A favorite is the Cades Cove Loop Rd which is 11 miles of scenery with wildlife in its natural habitat.

Just a short 30 minutes away, is Pigeon Forge, home of Dollywood and many fun tourist attractions and shopping options. Gatlinburg, located right beside Pigeon Forge, offers a wide range of attractions and shopping for the whole family!

Our online travel guide (link provided with the guest agreement after you book) offers our top recommendations for catering, restaurants, shopping, attractions, etc. We also offer a Welcome Book in each of our cabins/lodges with the same information. Contact our office to ask about discount tickets that may currently be available!
