Kaliforniens inomhus-utomhusliv är bäst: Vår plats har ett stort privat soligt däck med utsikt över Mount Tamalpais, perfekt för uteservering och solstolar. Vårt hem ligger inom en kort promenad till centrums affärer och restauranger, vandrings- och cykelleder och bara en kort 20 minuters bilresa till stranden.

Vårt hus är perfekt för par, familjer med barn (bara 8 år och äldre snälla) och solo utomhusentusiaster!

Vårt hem är en solig och glad 3 sovrum, 2 badhus. Det är fullt av charm och har en fantastisk utsikt över Mount Tamalpais. Den har ett öppet rum med vardagsrum och dingling, komplett med en vedeldad spis, ett nyrenoverat toppmodernt kök med avancerade apparater inklusive Thermador-induktionsspis, kylskåp och avgasspis, dubbla Bosch-ugnar och två Fisher-Pykel diskmaskin lådor.
Det finns också två barns sovrum plus ett badrum på huvudnivån. Det moderna och ljusa badrummet har också ombyggts just det senaste året. Den har en stor duschkabin med regndusch och handhållen dusch.
Det stora sovrummet ligger på det konverterade vindutrymmet med en vägg av fönster och en egen privat balkong som vetter mot berget Tamalpais. Det har också ett privat kompakt badrum med stå-up dusch.
Vår favoritdel av vårt hem är det fantastiska Kalifornien inomhus-utomhusliv: det stora soliga däcket är perfekt för uteservering och avkoppling och ligger precis utanför vardagsrummet och bara några steg från köket.
Trädgården är perfekt för barn, komplett med en trampolin, fortet och ett svängset. Vi har också ett bordtennisbord för några roliga turneringar!
Hemmet ligger på en lugn gata, inom 10 minuters promenad till centrum med sina många topprankade restauranger och butiker.
Dussintals vandrings- och mountainbikespår väntar också på dig precis uppe på gatan.

Beautiful Mill Valley Home

This was our second time staying at this location. It is beautiful, easy to get to from the town and the setting is perfect. The hosts think of everything, and their home is impeccable. Thank you!

Quintessential MV

This property has everything we’re looking for in a stay in Mill Valley. It’s nestled back in the majestic redwoods but moments away from downtown. The living space, kitchen & main bath are updated and modern. There is lots of natural light and outdoor space. The hosts are very accommodating- ultimately you get the sense over your stay that you’re a permanent resident (which makes departing a big let down ;-). We’ve been to a variety of MV properties and this is clearly one of our favorites - highly recommended.

Fantastic family home in a great location

My family and I just spent Thanksgiving in Mill Valley and stayed at this wonderful, warm home. There was plenty of space, the kitchen is newly remodeled and is extremely well equipped with everything you may need. The beds were all cozy and there were plenty of towels etc in the bathrooms. We spent lots of time enjoying the deck, and the fire pit is key!! It is about a 10 minute walk to town which was so nice, and the Railroad grade trail is just up the street in the other direction which made mountain biking and trail running a breeze. Susanne was lovely, communicative and very helpful. We would come back again for sure!!

Heaven in Marin

We had a magical stay in what we were calling the magical treehouse. The hosts were wonderful, the house was cozy and comfortable .. bright and sunny and everything we had hoped for. Everything we could have needed was their instructions were fantastic I just can’t say enough about this fantastic gem!

We had a great stay here. Close to highway 1 and the beaches. We went for some beautiful hikes as well in point Reyes. The night at the patio with friends was very relaxing

Felt better than home.

We wanted to spend 4 days in Mill Valley in February to unwind in a comfortable home with our two children and this house more than delivered. The home is very well kept and in a beautiful and quiet location. It was in a great spot for our day trips to downtown San Francisco, Stinson Beach and Sausalito all of which are not too far away. We also enjoyed easy access to hiking trails on Mount Tam. Mill Valley itself is very close and provides all the essentials for this type of vacation. Susanne ensured everything was very organized and made our stay easy. Thank you for sharing your wonderful home.

Beautiful Home in Stunning Location

My family and I rented this home for the christmas holiday, and had a wonderful time. The open plan layout of the main floor really facilities good family interaction. This was the best owner organized rental I have ever experienced. Everything worked like clockwork, and we were able to use the two car garage (parking is a problem in Mill Valley) and all of the appliances, because of the useful laminated instructions. The house was charmingly decorated on our arrival with a christmas tree and Nutcrackers on the mantle. It made us feel warm and welcome. The view of Mount Tam is wonderful, and the overall experience of staying in this home is like living in a luxurious tree house.

Review of Rental

This house is a very nice place to stay. The kitchen, living/dining room, and deck are very attractive. The views of Mt Tam are delightful. The downstairs two bedrooms and the upstairs bath are fairly basic.

beautiful house perfect spot great host

My friends and i rented Susanne and Tom's house for a holiday weekend and had the best time. the place is in a beautiful location - up some stairs to the main floor, with treetop views out to Mt Tam and walking distance to downtown Mill Valley shops. The house was comfortable with a large brand new kitchen and everything you could need. Susanne was a pleasure to communicate with; even researched restaurants to help me with (last minute) plans AND left us a lovely gift (cheers to that Susanne!) and a welcome note. i cant imagine a better experience.

Great house in a great location!

We really enjoyed our stay here. We had family in town and needed additional space. The owners are great hosts and were really easy to work with on any request. Overall, a great place to stay with friends and family.

What a View!

Susanne is welcoming, gracious and helpful as a hostess. She left the house early and in perfect order just to accommodate our early check in request

We are an active family that loves the outdoors! Our two boys are heavily involved with baseball, basketball, swim team, HipHop as well as Cub and Boy Scouts. We love to run and mountain bike on the many trails on Mount Tam, hit the local beaches to surf, boogie board or standup-paddle-baord. But we like to just relax and catch up with friends and neighbors with a glass of wine and dinner on our deck.
We love traveling, locally in Marin, within California, within the U.S. and overseas to visit family and friends in Germany and explore the countryside and cities such as Berlin and Munich etc.

Varför värden valde detta boende

Nature abound within just a few steps from this property! There is tons of hiking, mountain biking, road biking just up the street from our home. And local beaches are just 20 minutes away.
In addition to enjoying local happenings in Mill Valley, we also love to head out to the Wine Country, just 20 minutes up the road. Or head up to Tahoe for a long weekend or down the coast to San Luis Obispo and Morro Bay. So much to do, so little time...

Our home features wonderful outdoor spaces such as a large deck with terrific views of Mount Tam complete with cozy lounge seating around a gas fire pit, a large dining table and a covered porch. Our yard has a 14' trampoline, a swing-set, a fort and a ping pong table.
