Great dive getaway

Two of us met in Cozumel for about a week of diving. Everything both in the condo and on the grounds was clean and nice, all the essentials were there. Water delivery and cleaning went as planned with no issues. Communication was easy. For divers, be aware the dock at sunscape now charges $10/person/day for dock usage bracelets. Overall: great place; would stay again.

Great Stay

My family stayed here for a few days and absolutely loved it. The beach was clean and nice. The pools were maintained and warm for January. The short walk from the condo to the beach was past both pools. The kids can't wait to come back. Will return to Residencias Reef.

Amazing Condo 👏

The condo was clean and stocked with kitchen appliances and wares. Great location to parking lot, pools, and boardwalk to the beach! Beautiful patio with plenty of furniture and space to enjoy! Staff on site (Residencias Reef) were helpful, friendly, and answered any questions we had. No issues with check in or check out! Definitely will return and rebook this unit 😀

All You Need

We love recidences reef and have been renting condos there everyday for many years. This condo had everything you need and nothing more. The price reflects what you get. Being on the first floor was great but you cannot see the ocean from the porch. The AC in the bedroom was leaking the entire time we stayed and has clearly been doing so for a while as black mold was growing in the wall. We traveled with a large group and had many condos rented on the property. All of the other condos had daily maid service, nice beach towels, welcome gifts & washers/dryers inside the actual units. This condo is great if you are on a budget and need nothing more than the basics.

Perfect Relaxing Getaway

My husband and I truly enjoyed our week in this condo. The condo is located on a beautiful, well-maintained property with gorgeous views. One of the pools is just steps away, and the beach is a very short, beautiful walk. This property has amazingly kind staff and great security. We felt very safe and relaxed the entire time. My husband LOVES to scuba dive, and easily arranged his pick-up on the dock right next door. He also enjoyed lots of snorkeling and saw amazing things right off the beach. I love to sit on the beach and enjoy a good book. It was perfect for both of our needs! With a short walk down the beach, you can find restaurants, shops and entertainment if you desire. The condo itself is very well furnished and set up to make everything very easy. We enjoyed relaxing on the outdoor patio as well. Laundry room is easily accessible, yet private enough that you won't have to listen to it running. Amazing! The maid service was also excellent! We are looking to stay here again in the future! PERFECT getaway.

Great Experience

We’ve been coming to this condominium complex now for probably 15 years. It’s always well kept and does not seem to age. It’s super clean and very peaceful with loads of amenities on-site and nearby. Barb is an excellent owner. She was accessible and responsive and her condo is very well kept and appointed.

Perfect Location

A wonderful experience for any occasion. Quiet, calm, close to town, beaches, and parks. This was our first visit to the island and when we return we will definitely be staying here. Looking forward to exploring more of the island!

Amazing

Condo was spacious, clean and comfortable. But the bed? Wow. Best sleep I have had in a while! Nice view, friendly staff. Great beach. Couldn't ask for anything more. Barbara was super easy to work with, and her place is stocked with snorkeling equipment, coolers, etc. We really had a blast. Thank you, Barbara for sharing your place with us!!!

Review of Residence Reef

The property was on the first floor, therefore a bit dark. The furniture and amenities were a bit dated, but even when the coffee pot quit, it was replaced quickly. No problems overall, but the place could use a bit of updating on lighting, furniture and amenities.

Great Anniversary Stay

My wife and I stayed here for our anniversary and it was great! Good location, great beach access and security. There's an amazing taco stand just outside the complex, Dona Chely where we went almost every day. Condo itself was clean, had everything we needed, plenty of space for two people and nice patio looking at the pool. Barbara is super helpful as well!

Such a beautiful property, with everything that you could possibly want to feel at home, while also providing everything for adventuring, including coolers, snorkel gear, towels, and flippers. The bed was very comfortable, and Barbra was very reponsive, we will be back.

Great Place to Stay in Cozumel

Residenicias Reef - loved our stay. Owner Barbara is great, she will respond quickly if you need anything or have questions. The property has clean heated pools, grounds are well maintained and close to town and several beach clubs. Condo is few feet from pools and a few feet from beach. This one bedroom is very large, spacious patio, comfy bed. We had a relaxing time staying here - good choice!

This is the third condo we've stayed at in the Residencas Reef community. We wouldn't stay anywhere else in Cozumel. This gated community has a 24 hour security staff controlling access. We enjoyed having a ground floor unit making it easy to get to the pools, beach, and car quickly. This is a one bedroom, 1 1/2 bath with access to the bathroom from either the living room or bedroom. Very comfortable king sized bed with room darkening curtains that facilitate napping or sleeping in. Close to the second pool which would be good for people travelling with children but still very quiet in the condo. Only a couple of minutes walk to the primary infinity pool and white-sand beach. This condo is stocked with cookware (including nonstick pans), a few spices, beach towels, coolers, basic beach toys, washer/dryer, bottled water, hair dryer, full sized appliances, and more. We recommend a car for sight seeing, grocery shopping, and dinner since it is a few miles from town. You can take a taxi to the condo too. Bring river shoes if getting in the ocean since it is rocky once you leave the beach. We rent our car from Rentadora Isis Cozumel because if you rent from the airport, you will be required to overpay for insurance. You will need to make arrangements or take a taxi to their office since they are not allowed to pick up from the airport. A little planning goes a long way.

I am so happy with the property I picked for our vacation! It is awesome! The beach is perfect! Property is beautifully maintained. It’s quiet and very secure. You will want to rent a car as it’s about 20 mins to town.

Great Place for Vacation in Cozumel!

Host is very attentive and responds to all your questions and concerns quickly! The condo is clean and spacious for a family of 4. Nice location in front of the sandy beach, and the pier for the dive operation pick up is within walking distance. I would definitely stay this condo next time when I visit Cozumel!

The best!

Having vacationed in Cozumel since 1985, this was one of the best trips we’ve ever had there. Much of that was due to Barbara and Geo and their wonderful Residencias Reef condo. We’ve stayed in many places in Cozumel over the years: condos in North Cozumel, condos in the South Cozumel (including another Residencias Reef condo), several all-inclusive resorts, and hotels in many locations on the island. This condo has many advantages over most all of the other places we’ve stayed. The first and most important advantage is the owners. Barbara and Geo couldn’t have been more helpful and responsive to any request, big or small. Other advantages include: > Storage - The closet and furniture storage in the condo was generous with the owners only taking a very small amount for the condo’s cleaning items. They took no space for their personal items, leaving plenty of storage for us. > Space - The extra ½ bath and vanity gave us room for spreading out. Also, the patio was not only larger than most, it was also well-furnished so we could enjoy using it. > Location - The first floor location made access to the pool and beach easy and the view of the pool and grounds was lovely. It’s also a great location for scuba-boat pick up…..just far enough south that your ride to the reefs gives you time to don your gear, tell a quick lie or two to other divers on the boat, and hit the water. > Toys – the many pool and beach toys saved us the expense of buying our own. The bikes would have been fun to use if we’d had time. (Note- suggest you pick up or bring your own helmet if you intend to bike. Since owners couldn’t know a person’s head size nor whether a helmet has been damaged, we wouldn’t expect them to have these on hand.) > Facilities/utilities – The washer and dryer were in excellent condition and enabled us to pack lighter than we could have otherwise. The air conditioners worked well and cooled off our rooms quickly. > Electronics – 2 nice flat screen TV’s worked well and allowed us to watch different programs when we wanted. The wifi was very reliable. Thanks for a great vacation, Barbara and Geo!

Great Condo, Great Experience

First, the property is exactly as Barbara has described and pictured. The bedroom is very spacious, even with a futon in it and dresser, and has its own walk out to the deck. The living space is spacious as well and includes a nice sized table for family dinners. The kitchen was completely furnished with every utensil you could possible want. Overall, extremely clean, well maintained and updated. Originally we wondered if this condo would be too far back from the beach, but as it turned out, it offered a great view and its location provided really nice privacy, since residents are not constantly walking by the unit. The unit had a nice sized TV and DISH TV which was a nice plus. We met several other longer term residents and repeat visitors from other units, and all were very friendly. Second, the property is extremely safe, with staff continually walking rounds. Third, the pools and beach area were extremely well maintained. To swim, you have to walk over a slightly rocky patch, but then pocket of sand again open up, and the depth increases to swimmable heights. The great news with the underwater terrain is that it offers fun snorkeling. Starfish, conch shells, etc, and unbelievable water clarity. Other beaches within walking distance offer more snorkeling and swimming opportunities. Fourth, Cozumel overall was perfect for us, and we will be returning. Lots to explore. We loved the east side of the island...bigger waves, all public beach, big sand, and some fun restaurants. Definitely worth the drive. We explored shopping downtown both on the main road where the cruise ships come in, and off the beaten path. Several grocery stores to choose from, and we tried them all-MEGA, Sam's Club, a store attached to Sam's, and Super Aki. Lastly, our host Barbara, was extremely pleasant to work with. She provided perfect upfront instructions, a little advice when asked, and was very responsive during our stay. Residencias Reef and 7110 Hayward Condo

The condo was completely furnished and had everything we needed during our stay. We spent many hours on the terrace watching the pool activity and the iguanas! The larger pool and the ocean and beach were only steps away. We stayed two weeks and loved every minute! You will need a rental car, which you should arrange online from the US.
