Wonderful place!

The condo was wonderful! It was very large a spacious. Every room was large and roomy! We loved the balcony that looked out over the property and the ocean! It was very clean and comfortable! We took advantage of all the extras from the daily cleaning, to having meals cooked and the private taxi and private grocery shopping. The food cooked in condo was amazing! We barely ate out because we had so much delicious food right there for us! The property manager Luis speaks very good English and he checked up on us and helped us out throughout our stay. Veronica's son Mario does the grocery shopping and we found out later that he arranges scuba, snorkeling and other tours. I wished we'd known sooner because we would have booked with him instead of the other places we choose. We were very comfortable in the condo. Slept great every night. Very quiet, even with some noisy neighbors below partway though, and the thunderstorm the one night. Actually being able to sit on the balcony and watch the thunderstorm was one of the highlights of our stay! As far as the area: This condo is a bit far from town so eating out would have been more costly as taxi service to and from Cozumel was running $30-$35 round trip. But we wanted to be farther away from the tourist scene. Nice quiet private beach which we loved. We snorkeled almost everyday in front of the condo and down towards the CarlosnCharlies. Short walk to Dona Chely for more amazing food! We walked down to Carlos n Charlies one day. Food was not terribe, but it is pretty much bar food. Drinks were very good and we would have gone back if we'd had more time. Secrets dock is so close for snorkeling/scuba pick up. We'd go back in a heartbeat. Looked at staying at Residencias Reefs late next winter or spring and bringing our 18yo twins but they are so booked up! We wanted more rooms for them. But if you don't mind having folks sleep on the couches this place has plenty of space for probably up to 4 adults.

Prior to your arrival we'll email you an info packet filled with island info.

On your arrival our concierge and property manager Luis Orendain will call and arrange a personal meet and greet to answer any questions you might have. He will be available to you throughout your stay to ensure that you have everything you need to make this the most comfortable and relaxing vacation that you have ever experienced.

Our friendly housekeeper will cheerfully clean and refresh the condo daily throughout the duration of your stay. She would also love to cook dinner for you; we provide a menu from you to choose from or ask her to prepare you favorite Mexican dish or cook your fresh catch of the day.

The private setting makes this the ideal romantic getaway. You can sun and relax on our private beach or spend the day at 1 of 2 freshwater swimming pools. Daily houskeeping (excpet Sunday's) ensures your stay will be worry free and relaxing. We also can arrange grocery delivery service, in house dinner service, in house massages and more.

Residencias Reef is located on beautiful San Francisco beach about 15 minutes south of downtown San Miguel de Cozumel. Next door you'll find the Secrets all inclusive resort and if you'd like to visit you can purchase a day pass to explore their resort. A short 5 minute walk down the beach you'll find Carlos and Charlies beach club. A great place to have a midday snack or cocktail. Their kitchen closes at 4:00 PM. You can experience an authentic breakfast or lunch at Dona Chelly's which is a short walk out the front gate and to the north. Senor Iguanas and Alberto's restaurants feature the best in Mexican and American cuisine and are located 2 miles south of the Reef. In addition there are several beach clubs just a couple of miles south of Residencias.
