En grind leder in på marken, där gästerna är välkomna att gå men hundar måste hållas på bly eftersom det finns strövande kycklingar .. Coach House Stables är ett vackert och bekvämt fritidshus i ett lugnt, lantligt läge. Det är en kort promenad från den vackra byn Hernhill, med den idylliska kyrkan och bygrön, och den traditionella puben, The Red Lion, med utsikt över det gröna, serverar god mat och är mycket hundvänlig.

Husdjursvänlig - max 2 hundar. Privat parkering för 3 bilar. Fastigheten ligger på ägarnas skogshus, som har omfattande naturskäl. Gästerna är välkomna att gå på marken, men hundar MÅSTE hållas i ledningen eftersom det finns gratis strövande kycklingar.

Lovely location, very comfortable and clean accommodation.

Very comfy beds, lots of lovely touches. A well equipped kitchen and lots of info about the area ie walks and pubs. The owners had left us eggs from their chickens and homemade shortbread which was delicious. A Really relaxing stay.

We loved the Coach House. It was just perfect for our get away. We would definitely visit again. Working with Cottages.com was difficult. They never answered my questions and were late sending arrival instructions.

Had a lovely stay at the coach house, with my 3 daughters and dog. Alison and Philip were really helpful and care about the experience of their guests. Some really nice and helpful elements about this property. Lots of information leaflets about the local area and places of interest, a really helpful guide to where to find things in the house etc. the homemade shortbread, milk, tea bags and fresh eggs! We were in urgent need of a cup of team on arrival and this was such a welcoming touch. I was also grateful for the hand soap, which I forgot to bring and then also forgot to get when I went to the shops! There were some other really nice thought out aspects, such as dog bed and blankets on sofas. Loads of tea towels (things I had brought because I you never know!). I already had the chance to let Philip know what a fabulous BBQ they have provided (itâ€™s solid and just wow!). The outdoor eating space was perfect for us and Alfieâ€™s field great for little kids to explore and perfect for the dog to have his morning wee when the human isnâ€™t ready to go far! Also, the pillows! I would say itâ€™s rare to have a good pillow at a cottage but these were lovely! I slept like a log and thatâ€™s quite unusual. Thereâ€™s the usual expected games, books DVDs for rainy days. Located perfectly to explore whitstable and Thanet beaches, so nice that there are dog friendly beaches, even in the height of summer. We had a very nice time and I would certainly recommend.

Perfekt

Diese Unterkunft hat alle Erwartungen übertroffen. Die Lage war für unsere Unternehmungen einfach nur perfekt. Wir haben uns von der ersten Minute an sooooo wohl gefühlt. Das Haus war gemütlich eingerichtet und es fehlte uns an nichts. Der Kontakt mit den Besitzern war super freundlich und zuvorkommend. Der Garten war eine Augenweide. Wir hatten Eier von den freilaufenden Hühner 🐓. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. Schöner konnte unser Urlaub nicht sein. Danke schön an Alison.

Das Anwesen liegt eingebettet in eine ländliche Umgebung. Überall üppige Vegetation. Von hier aus konnten wir Wanderungen in der Nähe unternehmen, Faversham ist sehenswert, Küstenorte im Norden und Süden sind mit dem Auto gut zu erreichen. Nach London haben wir den Zug ab Faversham genommen. Relativ stressfrei dadurch. Das Haus selbst war sauber, gut ausgestattet und für 6 Personen ausreichend. Nette Vermieter. Auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert.

Cosy place for Noryh Lent Walks

We booked The Stables for a four day break over new year. Its location was perfect for local walks and near Faversham and Whitstable. On arrival I managed to set the alarm off but the owners daughter saved the day and showed me how the switch it off and on. There are three bedrooms and two shower rooms though the cottage is probably better for four rather than six as the living/dining room/kitchen is ‘cosy’. However no complaints. It was perfect for us with the Red Lion pub/ restaurant within walking distance and others a short drive away.

Comfortable cottage amongst apple orchards

The property is on a narrow country lane, but with easy access to the Thanet Way for the north Kent coast, the A2 for Canterbury and beyond, and several roads to the south for the weald of Kent. Electric gates provide good security for the cottage and your car. The kitchen/diner/lounge is a little tight for more than 4 people, but the bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious and well equipped. We had a very good week here, and wouldn't hesitate to return when next in the area.

Korte vakantie

Het was een fijne plek om te verblijven, maar als je veel binnen verblijft is het aan het aan de kleine kant. De kamers en de badkamers waren netjes en comfortabel. Voor mobiele mensen is het een prima verblijf, voor minder mobiele mensen zijn veel trappetjes. De eigenaars waren heel attent met kleine versnaperingen als welkom. Twee pups zijn op loopafstand, maar wel via de openbare weg zonder trottoir.

Wonderful family retreat

Really enjoyed our weekend getaway with family. Visiting our nieces who are studying in England and we took them to Canterbury and Cliffs of Dover - both of which were close by. Rambled through some of the small towns which was really nice. The Red Lion restaurant (10 min walk) was an unbelievable find. Very good food (gastropub) and exceeded our expectations. The cottage was very cozy with comfortable beds and linens and towels. The kitchen was tight but had all the necessities to cook breakfast and we even made one dinner there for 6 people.

4 Adults, a 12yr old and a dog. A lovely cosy cottage in beautiful surroundings with everything we needed for our 4 night stay. Large, airy bedrooms, comfortable beds and good bathroom facilities. The downstairs living area is quite small but we didn't feel cramped. Alison the owner is lovely and was very helpful, couldn't have asked for more. We walked to both Pubs during our stay and were met with friendly staff. Whitstable, Herne Bay, Faversham and Canterbury all worth a visit. Would definitely stay here again.
