House Plats och Extras: På vår egen tunnland av egendom; träd studded parti; kan inte se några grannar från fönstren i huset. Privat. Utomhus vedeldning chimanea. Grillplatser. Byggt i sängen i vardagsrummet - ligga runt på after ski, ta en tupplur, etc.

Visningar: Vi har utsikt över Sugarbush Ski Area, Sugarbush South Ski Area, och Mad River Glen. Du kan se alla tre orter fran våra främre fönstren. Höstsäsongen är spektakulär. Sommaren är mycket grönt och plysch.

Sovrum:: 3 sovrum nere sova 3, 3, 4. De är våningssängar (bredare än normalt). Fullt heltäckningsmatta. Sjunker i varje sovrum. Upstaris sovrummet har en drottning säng och ett handfat. Huset sover 12 lätt. Det finns ett sovloft över övervåningen badrummet där två (företrädesvis barn) kunde sova. BYO lakan och handdukar. Filtar och kuddar levereras.

Great location and an easy stay!

We stayed here with friends in the summer! Plenty of space for kids, and they loved the loft space! Would be a great ski location with lots of beds!

Great place!

This is our third time staying at the property and love it! Great location and easy access to the valley. We had an issue with the microwave and Evelyn was quick to fix it for us!

Great family house

Perfect location and very comfortable living space. Rooms are nice sized with a sink in every room. Perhaps not ideal for very young children but overall a perfect large family spot.

Great Place! Great Host! Great Location!

We thoroughly enjoyed our ski weekend. Plenty of room for us. Fifteen minutes to Sugarbush and to Mad River Glen. Comfy place. Great layout and amenities. We would definitely rent from this gracious host again.

Guys Ski Trip

We had a great time staying here for a guys Ski Trip to sugarbush. Great big room to hang out and relax with the group after a day of skiing. kitchen worked well for us to cook breakfast and dinner. Good location as it's a very short drive to Sugarbush Resort. Would stay there again with a group of we ski Sugarbush.

Great spot for Mad River Valley fun!

We had a fun few days in this great spot! Awesome location near everything in Waitsfield. Minutes from the mountains, swimming holes, shops and restaurants (and Lawson’s finest liquids). Very private and peaceful location up a hill with two nice decks that feel like a tree house. We’ll definitely come back!

Great place

Renting was very easy. Questions were answered very quickly when asked before booking. Kitchen is stocked very well. Do wish there were screens on the windows so they could of been open more to enjoy the weather without the concern of bugs coming in. Great location! Really enjoyed staying.

Vermont Family Wedding

This property has sleeping room for the entire family and a great room with lots of areas for relaxing as well as large dining area. Kitchen is well equipped with access to a spacious deck with a grill and furniture. Just watch out for the bear in the kitchen! (Totally tame of course!)

Perfect Getaway

We rented this wonderful property to visit my daughter for family weekend at College. Plenty of space for all of 8 of us! Fully stocked kitchen for cooking etc ! Perfect place for gathering and relaxing! Highly recommend this property. Jeff and Evelyn were wonderful to work with and quickly responded to any questions we had .

Great house for family gathering

The downside: you bring your own sheets and towels. The upside: pretty much everything else. 3 bunk beds with 3, 3 and 4 beds plus a room with queen sized bed for the people in charge gives great flexibility for hosting people; the dining room table seats 12 and there are comfortable couches and a nice ski decor. We went in the summer; can't comment on how easy the driveway would be in the winter.

Loved it!

This is the second time that we have stayed in Evelyn’s cabin. We loved it so much the first time, we booked again. This last visit was for our son’s graduation from Norwich University; therefore, I don’t know when the next time we’ll return to Vermont. Wonderful accommodation!

I took a group of students to this place for a theater retreat. The owner was incredibly accommodating, and the property was wonderful, both in general and for our special purposes. The house is in impeccable condition, and you can tell that the priorities in recent renovations were quality and aesthetic concerns; it was super clean when we arrived, is well appointed (the kitchen had everything we needed to cook for 12 people), the wood stove was both very efficient and cozy, and the house's floor plan is very convenient, allowing for both social togetherness and privacy when needed. I slept in a very cute loft-like upstairs bed "cove", with the stars right above my head when I fell asleep, most other bedrooms feature four bunk beds that are perfectly comfortable when you are not looking for luxury accommodation but congenial atmosphere. If you need a place where to spend quality time with a bigger group of people, away from everything, this is definitely a great pick. We went in April, and there was still some snow of on the mountains just across from the living room window. It must be spectacular in winter!

I grew up in Albany, NY and have lived there all my life. I went to high school in Schenectady, NY and to the Empire State College for a four year degree. I have been an avid skier at Mad River Glen since 1950 and have skied the West, Canada, Europe on many occasions. I have two sons who grew up skiing Mad River. Now u have two grandsons who also learned to ski here. Thankfully, everyone is still skiing here. We love it!!

Varför värden valde detta boende

My husband and I skied Mad River Glen and loved it (we still do). My two sons grew up skiing there every weekend and holiday week all wiinter. My son (Jeffrey) still uses it most of the winter with his family. We decided to build a duplex with another couple; they were not quite ready, so we built in a single family Swiss Chalet in 1964. It was our builders first house. This property was part of land owned by the builder's family (Richard Brothers); they also sold land to the Green Mountain Valley School and several other lots on our 'hill'. We have always loved it and keep upgrading it.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

The views from the living room decided us. We could see Sugarbush, Sugarbush North and Mad River Glen all from our front windows!!! Plus it is private where we are and quiet. Those things sold us on the property.
