Beachfront stuga på vackra Goose Rocks Beach. Stugan byggdes 1896 och har varit i familjen i 6 generationer. Stugan är verkligen en dold skatt på Goose Rocks. Om du letar efter en original stuga i Maine-stranden är det den här för dig. Mysiga, bekväma, rena och helt enkelt charmiga. Fyra steg och du är på väg nedför trappan till den mjuka sanden
Goose Rocks. Verandan är ett utmärkt ställe att koppla av, läsa och njuta av en kall drink efter en lång dag på en mycket privat del av stranden. Tides Beach Club ligger 0. 5 miles away, General Store är 0. 2 tiondelar, vackra Cape Porpoise med sin fantastiska utsikt och restauranger är 7 minuter bort och naturligtvis den berömda Dock Square som ligger 11 minuter bort. Stugan har tre sovrum, ett badrum, matplats / vardagsrum och en solrum med fantastisk utsikt.

Quiet, beautiful, and simple

We had a great time and wish it was longer at GRB. It rained one day but we found several things to go do and see. The cottage was small but we loved it! Linda was a great host.

The views from this property are stunning. Sunrise is amazing. The proximity to the beach can't be beat. Linda (next door) was a lovely host. We were greeted with a big bouquet of sunflowers on the kitchen table. The cottage is exactly as described. It's a rustic slice of history.Things I wish I knew beforehand: (1) the double bed will not fit anyone taller than about 5'9". There is a footboard. My 6'1" husband had to put a pillow on it, and his feet were off the edge. (2) You have to go through the room with the double bed to get to the "hobbit" bedroom, and there is no door, just curtains. Perfect for families with small children; not great for older kids or adults who want privacy. There is a door for the room with the trundle.We would happily stay there again. I just would have my husband sleep in the room with the trundle! :-)

Wonderful cottage on the beach!

We had a great week staying at Linda's beautiful cottage. It was just what we were looking for with a spectacular view and right on the beach. Clean and cozy, it gave us the quintessential Maine vacation experience. Linda was wonderful and we look forward to returning!

Perfect location for a romantic long weekend getaway on a quiet beautiful beach!

We loved our long holiday weekend stay at this very rustic, small cottage right on the beach - the ocean view is the highlight! It was just so perfect for the two of us! Goose Rocks Beach is quiet but so beautiful and the owner was so gracious and wonderful! We hope to be back sometime (soon)!

Beautiful beach getaway with friends

You can’t beat the location of this cottage right on Goose Rocks Beach. As advertised, it is rustic and small, but was perfect for our girls getaway weekend. We loved walking on the beach and kicking back on the lovely porch. The owner was very communicative and easy to work with. Our group would rent this again!

Perfect little getaway

This house was amazing! We have a 1.5 year old boy and 3.5 year old little girl and they had the best week. House was perfect with everything we needed and more. Awesome location with so much to do. We can’t wait to come back. Linda was very friendly and welcoming.

Location, location, location!

We spent a week in this cottage on Goose Rocks Beach. Most of our time was spent enjoying the ocean either from the front porch, while walking the beach or paddling kayaks. We loved the ocean views through the large picture windows and sleeping to the sound of the waves. We definitely hope to return.

Incredible place

We have travelled to many vrbo rentals over the years, and I can’t think of one that compares to the location of this home. This beach is breath-taking, and you will not regret spending time here. The home is comfortable and has a perfect covered deck on the back to enjoy the sits and sounds of the ocean. The owner is so helpful and kind, and seeing her will be one of the many things that we will look forward to when we come back to this home in the future.

Great beach week!

Our family had a great stay at this little cottage. Waking up to that beautiful view and heading out straight to the beach to search for sand dollars was a highlight. The cottage is great for children because it is old, and I didn’t have to worry about anything getting damaged or breaking. The cottage was exactly what was listed, ocean front, small little cottage with charm. It was a perfect week.

Location location location!!

Amazing views at this cozy historic cottage. It’s a Goose Rocks Beach original, which is hard to find. Perfect for our family of 4 with plenty of room to sleep, eat and play inside on a rainy day. It truly is steps to the beach. The beach has plenty of space, super soft sand and is quiet. You can walk to the general store in less than 5 minutes to get deli sandwiches, pizza, snacks, drinks, even a bottle of wine. Don’t miss out on the fresh muffins, they are fabulous. There is a lot to explore in the area with Kennebunkport 10-15 minutes away with shops, restaurants and more. Linda, the host, is very hospitable to ensure your stay is comfortable. She lives right next door but totally gives you your space. She’s kind and lovely to work with. She has great recommendations, including the Portland Children’s Museum for our 2 and 5 year old on a rainy day. It was so much fun! I highly recommend renting linens and beach towels. Good to have extras when things don’t dry as quickly. There’s no washer or dryer but a big clothesline with clothespins to use which worked perfectly for us. It was a fantastic vacation with amazing views and the best location. The sunrise is spectacular in August. Don’t hesitate, book your stay. You won’t regret it!

Excellent location , terrific view right on the ocean. The house was immaculate and comfortable . We know the area well and are always happy to come back . We would consider returning same time next year .. Linda was lovely !

PERFECT location

This cottage is right on the beach, you don't even have to cross the road to get there. We love going to sleep listening to the surf. When we weren't outside, we were usually sitting in the sunroom looking at the ocean. It was exactly as advertised... clean and cozy. Linda (the owner) lives next door and was always nice and super helpful. My daughter and I had a wonderful visit!

Beautiful historic Oceanfront cottage in Kennebunkport Maine

Spectacular sunrises and sunsets over the Goose rocks, wildlife abound including birds and best of all seals. Property sits on a protected cove. House has a well equipped kitchen, beautiful oceanfront views from dining room, kitchen, living and sun room. Great front porch and small yard on beach side. Quiet and peaceful sandy beach getaway. Cape Porpoise 7 minute drive 4 food and groceries. 11 minutes to central Kennebunkport with shops and restaurants. Nature abound with beautiful Maine coastlines. Portland just 35 minutes to north makes for a great day trip. If you desire an authentic Maine beachfront rustic cottage look no further, host's family has owned for 6 generations and my wife and I felt honored to stay there.

Absolutely beautiful!

We had the best time, it was so relaxing. The views are so beautiful from the porch. The cottage had everything we needed and Linda the manager was very nice. It was a perfect mother/daughter trip!
