Clean and comfortable is a good summary. The views are beautiful, walks on the beach very nice and its close to markets and food if needed. The entertainment is good as well watching the ducks and seagulls ride the tides in and out as well as beautiful sunsets!!

We spent a week at Sunset Marsh. Such a cute place and the location is amazing. So close to the beach and right on the salt marsh. Everything we needed was there. We never had to get back in the car while we were there! Highly recommended and we will be back next year for sure.

Everything we needed was provided. Location is wonderful, right on the marsh and short walk across the street to the beach. Kim was great to deal with. Answered questions promptly. Will stay here again.

This home was perfect for our family “mother-daughter getaway“! The location was wonderful with views of the marsh from most windows and a short walk across the road to the gorgeous Goose Rocks beach! We found all the amenities we needed for preparing fabulous meals and lots of games and toys available to have fun both inside and out!

The location of the property is its selling point.The problem with the heat was not acceptable. First we were unable to get heat and then when it was on it gave a loud sound several times at night preventing sleep!

Absolutely magical stay. The best location of any VRBO property we have visited. Stunning views over the tidal marsh, literally steps from the stunning and quiet Goose Rocks Beach. Easy to bike the local roads and it's a quick car trip into Kennebunkport restaurants and shops. Do yourself a favor and stay here.

We had an outstanding stay at this marsh-side cottage, and it was exactly as described. The marsh views were mesmerizing, with the sunsets and changing tides constantly reshaping the landscape right outside. The walk to the beach was short, and we made the trip every day, sometimes twice. The beach itself is long and clean, and the other visitors were friendly. There were a lot of dogs out this time of year, but every one of them was well-behaved, as were their owners.The cottage had everything we could need or want. It felt like staying in someone's well-appointed home rather than a stripped-down rental. We were a short drive from all the local attractions, but far enough away to skip the hustle and bustle of the crowds around Dock Square and Ocean Avenue.Host communication was timely, clear, and helpful throughout our stay. We would love to visit again, and we'd highly recommend this cottage to anyone.

While the house is close to public parking for the beach across the street, the back of the house looks over a tidal marsh and is just fascinating to observe the birds, wildlife and dramatic high and low tide differences. The house has every amenity possible, clean and very relaxing. Loved being able to bring my dog, she loved the beach and also just hanging out watching the marsh. Also close to Kennebunkport center (15 min drive) with lots of shopping, restaurants and easy walking around. I really enjoyed staying there and would do so again!
