Grampa's Beach House, Ocean View, Grover Beach

Mysigt litet hus i North Grover Beach, fantastisk utsikt över havet och Pismo klitten från stora vardagsrumsfönster och veranda.

Du hyr hela huset. Huset är i sig självt mycket, inga andra hyresgäster. Ligger på ett hörnparti, gott om plats utanför, öppen och luftig känsla, grannar på ena sidan.

Täckt veranda med havsutsikt med stolar och bord, perfekt för att koppla av och njuta av våra fantastiska solnedgångar i Central Coast. Gott om parkering. Liten trädgård uteplats.

1 queen size-säng. En stor soffa (inte en säng), plus en luftbädd (vuxenstor, elektrisk uppblåst).

Autentisk dekoration och möbler från mitten av århundradet, och de flesta har varit i vår familj i årtionden. Förvänta dig inte snygga bänkskivor i marmor och Xenon-belysning (ha-ha), bara en ren och bekväm vistelse med äkta retrokaraktär.

Foton har faktiskt tagits från vardagsrummet och verandan i huset, inte från "i närheten".

Ligger i Grover Heights, en kort bilresa eller cykeltur till ingången till Oceano Dunes, Pismo Beach och Butterfly Preserve.

Till skillnad från att bo på ett hotell kommer du att ha ett komplett kök, ett litet kylskåp i full storlek och en stor spis (upplev den obefläckade 50-åriga O'Keefe & Meritt-inklusive fullstor ugn, broiler, till och med en inbyggd -i grilla till dina hemlagade pannkakor! De gör dem inte så här längre ...), mikrovågsugn, brödrost, matbord för fyra, med utsikt.

Olikt till skillnad från de flesta hotell är du välkommen att ta med alla dina husdjur för att njuta av den vackra Central Coast med dig! (extra avgift $ 50 per husdjur. Ingen gräns för antalet!)

Colleen's Midwest company rented our place for one of their employees on a California assignment. The employee and his wife (and their dog! :) ) stayed for several months, and were the idea guests-no problems at all. They were pleasant , followed all rules, and they left the place perfectly clean.

We had such a nice Labor Day weekend here! We brought our senior pup with us and honestly just wanted somewhere comfortable and laid back where we could slow down for a few days. Grampa’s Beach House was perfect for that.We loved how much character the house had and felt right at home. We were at the beach every day and bounced around Grover Beach, Pismo and Avila, so the location worked really well for everything we wanted to do. It was also just really nice having a quiet little home to come back to at the end of the day.Kim & Susan were so sweet and easy to communicate with. They sent us a bunch of their own recommendations before we arrived, answered our questions, and were really accommodating with us bringing our old pup along. You can tell they care about the home and about the people staying there.We’re already a little sad to be heading back to LA. Thank you for sharing Grampa’s home with us, we made some really good memories here!

It's an older house, but the owners were very good about letting us know where the (very minor) inconveniences were. The owners were extremely accommodating, and the location was perfect! It's far enough away from the beach to avoid the tourist crowds, but close enough to have the view and quick access to sights! I would highly recommend for locals as well as visitors to the area! The owners even provided a list of dog friendly venues and sights!

17 day holiday fun

My wife and I really enjoyed this Grover property. Even though it’s living area sounded small the floor plan makes it feel large and not cramped at all. Our trip was filled with pedaling over 350 miles, 40 miles of beach walking, deep sea chartered fishing, and kayaking. All of which was so convenient to this rental. The property manager was as good as it gets for communication and availability. We’ll definitely return. Doug and Patti Also should add not only is this rental very dog friendly, the whole neighborhood is very dog friendly. I’ve never seen a neighborhood with so many dog walkers.

Clean & comfortable in a convenient location

Grandpa's Beach House is exactly as described - it certainly hasn't been updated, but the property is clean and everything works properly. Although old, it didn't feel grungy at all. The only items that could have been cleaner were some of the kitchen items - several of the glasses were actually stuck to the shelf paper in the cabinet. However, I usually wash any kitchen items before using them anyway, because I don't expect the owners to rewash every every kitchen item after every guest leaves, and you never know how well previous guests will have washed something. Both the living area and the bedroom were larger than we had expected and provided plenty of room for my husband, 2 teen-age boys (who didn't mind sleeping on the couch), dog, and me. The owner, Kim, was very responsive when I asked for kitchen towels (I could only find one) and extra pillow cases (which it turns out we didn't need as I later found them in a garbage bag in the cabinet underneath the bathroom sink). The location was great - a 25-minute walk to Grover Beach a 45-minute walk to downtown Pismo Beach, and a 20-minute drive to Cal Poly. The house is at the top of the hill, so the views are pretty nice, but the hill is not too steep to walk or run up. We will definitely consider staying in this home again.

Cool Antique Roadshow

Kim greeted us with a cool tour of some of the house and his fun antique cars. You’ll have to visit for yourself to find out what kind of cars they are! :) the house is filled with antiques down to the silverware and glasses. We liked it! My dog liked it. Nice neighborhood for walking your dog. Very close to the beach. Close to the dunes. I was a little worried about the bed but I slept so good! The shower pressure was amazing too especially after a long day at the dunes. We recommend Papis Tacos (I think that’s the name of the place) local, affordable and the best tacos!

Great vacation place

The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed. It was also in a great location, near to shops, grocery store and restaurants in Grover beach. Just a few minutes' drive to Grover Beach for morning walks and we could watch the sun set sitting from the front porch in the evening. Also close to Pismo Beach and Avila Beach. Would recommend this place to anyone.

Kim is a wonderful owner to work with. He was very helpful and accommodating. We stayed for three weeks and loved the tidy house and ideal location. Lots to explore and so close to the beach. 😊🏖🏄‍♀️!

We enjoyed our weekend get-away to Grover Beach. The house was comfortable, like staying at your grandparents' house. It was centrally located to many things we wanted to do. And Kim couldn't have been nicer.

Our Dad bought this home in 1994 when he moved to the Central Coast to be near us and his grandchildren. He loved the high, open, airy location, and relaxing on the wonderful front porch overlooking the yard, streets, city, dunes, and ocean.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

Rare corner lot facing two wide streets, meaning uncrowded, open feeling, impossible to get in any motel, hotel, or in a room in most other vacation rentals.

Authentic vintage furnishings, stove, decor, solid-wood furniture. No plastic hotel feel here!

Child and pet (some restrictions) friendly!

Dog friendly! (Just see our few limitations on breeds at * above.)
