Secluded mountain getaway

We had an amazing time staying here. The views were breathtaking. We were pleasantly surprised that there was a smoker for use, so one of our days we spent relaxing on the deck, smoking some pork and taking in the views.

Lovely cozy cabin with great view

There’s a lovely sunroom—perfect for our winter stay so we could enjoy mountaîn views while staying warm. Property is easy to access and has private drive to offer seclusion. Kitchen is well stocked and fenced in yard is great for dogs.

Peaceful Stay

This cabin was perfect for a relaxing weekend up in the mountains. The whole place was very well maintained, and clean. As well as being clean, it’s a easy drive to downtown. And that view… better than what I could have imagined. I’ll definitely be coming back in the future. Oh and don’t take the binder hahaha

A perfect mountain getaway

Very comfortable and accommodating for my family and my pets! This place has an amazing view, with all of the comforts you’d expect in a mountain cabin. Very clean, and well kept. Plenty of space to enjoy family or spread out.

Quiet and cozy

The little cabin was just what we needed to get away for a weekend. It was cozy and quiet and had a nice view of the Blue Ridge mountains. The little towns were a very close drive and we completed 7 waterfall hikes with our two pups. I definitely recommend this little place if you want quiet, cozy, and convenience!

Beautiful Cabin

This cabin and location exceeded our expectations. I took my wife and our dog to celebrate my wife’s birthday and it was a perfect few days. We enjoyed hiking around the local trails, the hot tub on the porch, and stayed in and cooked each meal while enjoying the mountain range views in the distance. We will for sure be coming back to stay!

This cabin was the perfect space for me, my partner, and our dog. The fenced area is very thoughtful and the views are incredible! The hot tub was so clean and actually hot. The kitchen had basically everything we needed. The primary bed is very comfortable. We loved it!

A perfect place to unwind

A wonderful cabin with a beautiful view. It was everything that was advertised and then some. Well stocked with all the essentials. Very comfortable, very cozy and easily accessible from the main highway. Other reviews mentioned a daily visit by the local cardinal resident and sure enough, he came knocking on the back porch windows several times a day. We plan to be back

A-ma-zing!!!!

This was my second stay at the cabin and I’m ready for next. The pictures do not do it justice. The views are incredible. The cabin is so cozy, private and it has everything you may need. The location could not be better. It is close to so many waterfalls, lakes and hiking trails.

Cabin getaway

As advertised! We didnt use much of the property (hot tub, fireplace) because we traveled around area so much (Blue Ridge Scenic Railway). We were up in Ashville too first, saw Chihully exhibit and got a private tour of the Biltmore. Its about 2.5 hours away. We originally planned on 3 nights but the Hurrucane was coming right up our path home so we left day early. Shower was small but great pressure and everyghing very clean. Bed was comfortable and firm- perfect! Cabin had a big screen TV as well as other tvs throughout house but we dudnt use them much. Verh scenic, quiet and cozy! Pretty close to town, stores, gas (15 min). Definitly recomend it....owner responded quickly to any inquires we had. We'd do it again for sure, only longer!

Twas a white Christmas

My boyfriend & I got away for a nice Christmas vaca. The cabin was located in a great area and we enjoyed everything. Having a white Christmas was an unexpected bonus. The snow knocked over a tree into the driveway and I was quickly able to contact Brett to figure out a plan to free up the driveway. The only thing I would say for future guests is to treat the cabin as a new apartment you are moving into. You will need everything BESIDES pots & pans, plates, and utensils. We will definitely be back. Thanks Brett!

Beautiful top of mountain cabin

A very beautiful and special getaway. The location is less than 15 mins away from downtown blue ridge. It is very easy to get to and the property is very private. I absolutely loved this cabin. The kitchen area is on the smaller side but there’s still plenty of space to cook and it is stocked with everything you need. The bedrooms and bathroom were clean and spacious enough for 4 people. The back area that overlooks the mountains is the gem to this place. You can open all the windows if you choose to and sit back there on the rocking chairs and enjoy the view. The outdoor area is perfect to relax as well. The hot tub was clean and worked perfectly. The backyard area with the fire pit is spacious and a great quiet place to sit. I would def come back here again and would recommend it to any family of 4 or less people.

Cozy Cabin with perfect fenced yard for your pet!

Wonderfully cozy cabin with beautiful mountain views. Overall this cabin is a 5 out of 5 star stay for small groups. I would absolutely stay here again so please read the following pros and cons knowing that, ha. ••• Pros ••• The kitchen was fully stocked with pans for us to cook dinner, the steep mountain roads to the cabin were paved, the WiFi was fast, wonderful view, easy check-in, fast communication, PERFECT sized fence yard with a pooper scooper for your convenience (no baggies needed), and full-sized washer/dryer (though we didn't use them, still wonderful to have), VERY close to foods, DoorDash delivers (ha) ••• "Cons" ••• The walls of the cabin are kind of thin so you can hear when others are moving around the kitchen/living room/watching TV, the beds are pretty firm but still comfy, the fence is a little low in spots (just be aware if you have a tall pet or prone to hopping fences, stay outside with them), at night when going outside with your dog it is kind of dark - I just used my phone's flashlight and it was fine. Just book it!

Just what we needed!

We chose this cabin for its view and its remote but close location. We spent some time in Blue Ridge but we found ourselves drawn to Blairsville ! This location was perfect for our exploratory jaunts as we wandered throughout the area. The view from the enclosed back porch was exactly what we wanted. Since the windows in the back porch opened , we would enjoy playing backgammon or reading with a wonderful breeze daily. And I’m an early riser so I had coffee while the day was lighting up !! Beautiful and peaceful !! The bed was a great asset as well- we slept soundly every night and had no too hard or too soft issues ! Yes! It was just right! Although we didn’t use the fire pit it looked very accommodating. We also passed on the hot tub but it would cycle throughout the day and I opened the lid and looked at it- very inviting but had to pass. ( wife handicapped and she wasnt willing to try it ) We plan on going back next year for 10 days instead of five! We did get the daily cardinal visit as well. Pinging on the window !

Not terrible but not luxury

Pros: Very nice view, relaxing hot tub and like the other reviews said there is a cardinal that taps on the screen door every morning which was rather cute. The bed was comfortable and the owner was pleasant. Cons: As soon as we walked in we were hit with a strong scent of dog pee and a quick look at the carpets revealed many pee stains. If we would have brought our dogs they would have thought it was okay to potty there because all the marks. The worst part was after a shower I dried myself with a folded towel that I assumed was left for us and after wiping my face I realized this towel REEKED of dog urine. There is no doubt that this towel was either peed on or used to clean up pee. In the house book there is a note to keep the ac at 80. We are from up north and this is just not at all comfortable for us! There was really nowhere to put luggage in the master bedroom and the only closet in the spare bedroom was already half-full of random house stuff. The grill is starting to fall apart. The internet works but is not really great. There should really be a warning about the roads and driveway leading to this cabin. They are very steep and would probably require 4 wheel drive. This place is mostly private but there are neighbors on each side you sometimes can see and hear through the trees. It would have been nice if there was firewood and coffee provided for you so you don't have to take the trip into town after traveling. The lighting in the house was pretty bad. Even with the blinds up the house, especially the bedrooms were fairly dark. The decor was outdated and could use updating. Overall we were not impressed as we were expecting luxury like the listing says but not overly disappointed because the low price point. The view and hot tub are very nice but did not make up for the lack of cleanliness and the overall dingy feel of the place. If you are looking for luxury, keep looking. If you are looking for a dog friendly place you don't have to worry to much about ruining perfect carpet or furniture and don't care to much about luxury, this might be a good choice for you.

If you like amazing views you'll love Timber Ridge. Timber Ridge is located in an upscale Mountain community with numerous luxury cabins, but what separates it from the rest is the privacy. The cabin sits on 2.5 acres and is completely private and secluded but still resides in a neighborhood with paved roads. This is one of the aspects that separates it form the pack. There is nothing that you wont absolutely love about Timber Ridge!
