Westward Ho! is popular all year round with surfers and kiteboarders, and there are many rock pools for young and old to explore. Bideford, just 2 miles away, offers town amenities and boat trips to Lundy Island. For walking and cycling, the famous Tarka Trail passes close by. Golf, horse riding and fishing are available locally, or explore many pretty fishing villages including nearby Clovelly and Appledore.
