Marros är en liten lugn landsby med en kyrka och ridskola, 3 mil öster om Amroth. För att komma till Pleasant Vale, gå ner på en privat gård till denna fristående fastighet som ligger i sin egen trädgård med 15 minuters promenad till en spektakulär, isolerad strand. Fastigheten ligger 5 minuters promenad från den prisbelönta Pembrokeshire Coastal Path till Amroth & Tenby eller Pendine. I närheten finns Saundersfoot (8 mil) Tenby (15 mil) och Laugharne (10 miles), Dylan Thomas 'inspirerande fiskeby.

Huset är välutrustat, möblerat och dekorerat av ägarna så att du känner dig som hemma och redo att koppla av så snart du anländer. Det finns ett bra bibliotek med böcker, tillgång till wifi och har:

well what can i say ,this property was as listed, a private road, private beach, i can count how many persons i saw on 2 hands over a week , it was everything and more, from the hills of the coast paths to the mini shetland ponys in the paddock next door, i only wish i could of stayed longer, the host guy is fab, contact quick and formal , very nice chap, i will defo book again, the bungalow wasnt short of anything atall everything there needed for a full family holiday, if your looking to go away and literally hear no noise, book this now, was fantastic thanks guy see you soon hopefully.

Lovely, comfortable property

We enjoyed a lovely stay in Marros, the property was spacious and well equipped. It was a great location for exploring both Pembrokeshire and Carmarthenshire and we enjoyed some great days out.

Peaceful and beautiful

Had a great stay. The cottage is in a beautiful area, just a short walk to a spectacular beach which is south facing, has lots of sand at low tide and virtually no one else in it! If you’re looking for peace and quiet in a beautiful area, look no further.

Great house, Idyllic location

Wonderful week spent walking and enjoying the stunning 'private' beach. House had everything we needed (great bookshelves!) and was more spacious than we expected. Would definitely return.

Surrounded by rolling, peaceful countryside. Fabulous views and sunsets. Beautiful, secluded beach just a 20 minute walk away. Very comfortable, homely house. What more could you want? We had a wonderful week’s stay.

Christmas at Marros

We had a very enjoyable Christmas at Pleasant Vale. The house had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable, the house was nice and warm and the kitchen had everything I needed to prepare Christmas dinner for the five of us. View from the large picture window was lovely and we enjoyed watching the horses in the adjoining fields .

A real home from home

A very comfortable, homely house in the middle of the countryside and just a 20 minute, scenic walk to a secluded sandy beach. Amroth and Pendine both just minutes away by car, providing great opportunities for beach and water based activities. Alternatively you can walk the beautiful coastal paths to these locations direct from the cottage.

A Delight

My 91 year old father and I had a delightful stay at this lovely and accessible home. The house is well laid out and easy to move around for people with limited mobility. It is full of character with books, art, games, dvds and music. We enjoyed the peaceful location and gorgeous views of the countryside. We particularly enjoyed Betty’s cartoons and the memorial bench for Betty and Don on the nearby coastal path. Guy was an attentive and helpful host.

Pleasant stay at Pleasant Vale

We have had an excellent week at Pleasant Vale. The perfect place to recharge your batteries. The only sound is birdsong. Location is ideal for visiting Tenby and Saundersfoot if you prefer somewhere quieter to stay. Communication with the owner Guy was above and beyond! Wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

Pleasant View

Lovely stay at this house . Nice and spacious inside . Lovely big picture window in the lounge looking over the fields. So quite and peaceful. Great for walking the coastline . Which we did ! You do need to be fit to walk to Marros beach as parts really steep ! But worth it . Super coastline

Tranquil cottage with picture perfect views!

Just spent a lovely week at Pleasant Vale. The owners were very helpful with information ahead of arrival, the cottage was very clean and we found the property to be exactly as it is in the photographs in the listing. You definitely need a car as the cottage is fairly remote in a small hamlet down a mile long track. The views and tranquility of the place are fabulous though, and it’s a short walk down to a wonderfully quiet beach. Also a short walk and your directly onto the costal path and can walk to Pendine or Amroth. Tenby and Narberth are both about 25 min drive away, and you can easily visit many beaches and attractions within no more than a 30 min drive. There’s so much to see in this wonderful part of Wales. The cottage was well equipt, with everything you’d need for a comfortable holiday stay, including good wifi and Netflix. We enjoyed it very much with our little dog and 2 teenage children. Would definitely return.

Very comfortable rural cottage

We had a very comfortable stay, the cottage had everything that we would need. We were impressed by the views and the very large library, we haven't seen so many books in any other cottage and we were staying in almost a hundred.of them. The owner proactively checked if we need anything else and helped with valuable advices. The Marros Sands beach is beautiful, me and our dog were the only mammals there considering the dirds kingdom, but despite it's only 1.2km away, the hill is 130m high. The walk to the beach is a pleasure, but the return may be an exercise, challenge or torture depnding on how well fit you are. For me in my 65 it was a challenge, but my wife couldn't make it due to the problem with knees. However, I would highly recommend the stone bench on the coastal footpath near the gate on the right side when descending to the MArros Sands beach. It has absolutely outstanding views and my wife could resonably easily get there and back, so I would consider it as a suitable for elderly people with minor mobility issues. Many thanks to the owners for a great accommodation and hospitality!

Fantastic house for a family holiday

Pleasant Vale is a lovely house for a family holiday, with plenty of space so that time spent at the property is as enjoyable as time spent visiting the fantastic beaches and historic sights. Marros beach is an absolute gem, well worth the work down and back. Guy the host was always available for help and advise. Highly recommended.

Fantastic few days

Just enjoyed a few wonderful days in this home. There is a short walk down to the Marros beach which is absolutely gorgeous. So peaceful and serene. We also walked to Pendine one day and Amroth the other day from here which was great. House was comfortable and worked well for us as a family. Will definitely be back.

Perfect place for our family of 4 plus the dog!

We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely cottage. Plenty of space for the 4 of us and we'll equipped with everything you could need. Fairly remote location but within easy reach of nearby towns, beaches and the stunning coastal path.

Lovely cottage

Enjoyed a lovely stay, cottage was lovely and had everything we needed and more. Views of the Shetland ponies, horses and red kites whilst sitting in the living room was wonderful. Visited local dog friendly beaches and plenty of places to eat and drink out. Would definitely recommend and hope to return one day. Helen, Glynn and girls.

Perfect Cottage and Location

Tranquil and restorative

Wonderfully quiet corner of Camarthenshire, easy access to a near deserted stunning beach. Swimming, bodyboarding, BBQ, walking, reading, movies etc Owner helpful and responsive. Loads of space for us (family of 4) and our 4 legged friend.

Very well equipped house in a stunning location near the beach

This property is very well equipped- it has an outside seating area, a big garden, plenty of off road parking, well-equipped kitchen, great views from nearly every window plus if it rains strong WiFi, Netflix and many books and games. From the house you can explore the local beach and the coast path or drive to many other local beaches or visitor attractions. It is very peaceful as there is almost no traffic. The path to the beach is v v steep though! May be better to go to other beaches if u have small children or anyone who is not fully fit with your party. We very much enjoyed our holiday thanks to Guy and this lovely house !

Our parents retired to the Pleasant Vale bungalow in 1980 and added the extension a few years later. Our mum lived there till 2017 and our extended family and friends now use the house regularly. It is a place full of memories for four generations of our family - it is ideal for family holidays throughout the year.

Quite simply, Pleasant Vale is a comfortable, spacious family home in a beautiful rural location, close to the sea. It will provide you with a peaceful and restful break, where you can explore the wonderful Pembrokeshire coastline, its beaches, villages and towns. You can take day trips to Tenby, with boat trips to Caldy Island and the bird islands of Skomer or Lundy. You can travel inland to historic castles at Laughharne, or enjoy Oakwood theme park or Folly Farm. There are steam railways or museums to visit and the award-winning village of Narbeth and its summer children's festival. Dylan Thomas' village of Laugharne is a fitting shrine to this important poet. A perfect location for all year round holidays.

If you want to stay close to home, your local Marros sandy and stone beach has a petrified forest which emerges as the tide recedes. The forest was destroyed by the rising sea levels about 7000 years ago. Rock pools, sandcastles and driftwood keep children happy all day long and a BBQ on the beach ends a memorable day. Alternatively nearby Marros Riding Centre offers indoor and outdoor equestrian experiences for the whole family.
