Lovely modern villa with private heated pool
Villa La Salada:
This nice villa is set on a well sized plot in the area of Cotobro in Almunecar. The beautiful natural beach Playa del Cotobro is only a 350 meters walk. A short walk from the property, there is also a small tennis club. The sought-after village of La Herradura, which is well-known for its horse shoe shaped bay and the pretty marina, and the lively town of Almunecar are less than a 10-minute drive. Malaga airport can be reached within an easy 1 hour drive, Granada within an hour and the ski slopes of Sierra Nevada within 1.5 hours making this an ideal location for a permanent or a holiday home.
This modern style villa is set on a south-west facing plot of more than 700 m2 on top of the sea, it enjoys sun all day long and offers amazing views to the beach and to the leisure harbour of Marina del Este. You can even see the boats leaving the marina and nice sunsets in the evening. You will never tire of these views!
When entering the property, there is a carport with space to park 2 cars. A private driveway leads down to the entry of the house, which is distributed in 2 levels and a partially covered roof terrace.
The main feature of this modern villa are the large windows, designed to let the light in and to enjoy the amazing views to the sea from throughout the property.
At the entry level, a welcoming hall with large windows covered with the best quality wood will surprise you. On the right side of the hall, there is a large master bedroom with wooden walls and a large marble ensuite bathroom. From the bed the views are impressive, it will be a pleasure to wake up with these views! The bedroom gives access to a beautiful terrace and from there, some steps lead up to the partially covered roof terrace, from where the views are simply breathtaking.
Back to the hall, on its left side, there is a large, open lounge with high and large windows and design fireplace. Next to the living room there is a modern kitchen. Next to the kitchen there is a laundry room. From both the lounge and the kitchen there is access to a large covered terrace, ideal to enjoy al fresco meals or to just sit and relax while listening to the sea!
Some steps lead down from the lounge to an additional sleeping area, where there are 4 large bedrooms and 2 large bathrooms. These bedrooms share a large terrace that can also be accessed from outside the house, via an external staircase, making this area ideal for friends and family. On this level there is also an independent guest accommodation, with a sitting area, a sleeping area, built-in wardrobes and a large, ensuite bathroom.
Some steps lead from this terrace to the swimming pool level, with lots of space to sunbathe and relax. At this level there is also a large storage room.
The outside area is a joy for the eyes. There are lots of garden areas and terraces, a true paradise!
