Lägenheten ligger i en bottenvåningen i ett privat komplex som kallas "O Monte" med direkt tillgång till en vacker gräsmatta trädgård med en mycket stor gemensam pool med romerska steg, 2 barnpooler och en tennisbana. Det är en mycket tyst, avkopplande och säker plats. Komplexet är helt omges av murar och grindar. Bredvid komplexet finns en stormarknad och ett café med utanför tabeller och gratis trådlöst bredband (Wi-Fi). Det finns flera underbara stränder och restauranger bara några minuters promenad bort och Salgados golfbana på 2 km.

Lägenheten är mycket rymliga, ljusa och luftiga, bekväma, välmöblerade och smakfullt inredda. Den är fullt utrustad med luftkonditionering och det har fri tillgång till Wi-Fi.

Boendet består av ett stort vardagsrum och matplats med öppen spis, kabel-TV med kanaler som BBC News, BBC underhållning, Sky News, CNN, Frankrike 24, TVE, Fox, AXN, MOV, Discovery, National Geographic bland andra och en DVD-system . Loungen har en vacker utsikt över poolen och trädgården och det har direkt tillgång till dem under en altandörr till en privat terrass med en matplats och en grill. Det stora sovrummet består av två sängar, gott om förvaring, ett badrum och en altandörr till den stora terrassen med en mycket fin utsikt över trädgården och poolen. Det andra sovrummet består av två sängar, gott om förvaring, ett badrum och en altandörr till en liten terrass med en fin utsikt över trädgården. Båda sovrummen har en extra Z-säng för ett barn. Den tredje badrummet ligger nära matsalen och 3 badrum har badkar med power-shower över. Kök / frukostrummet har en altandörr till en liten terrass och den är utrustad med allt du skulle ha i ditt eget hem nämligen, kylskåp med frys, diskmaskin, ugn, spis, mikrovågsugn, brödrost, expresso maskin, tvättmaskin och en liten TV med satellitkanaler.

Summer family holiday

Great apartment, very clean set in a lovely complex. We really enjoyed our family stay here, swimming pool was great and the complex felt very safe! Great location! Easy to book and well looked after!

Very helpful host after we had a delayed flight into Faro. Very good location in Gale with good access to shops, bars and restaurants.

Great property for family holiday

We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday at O Monte, Gale. We were greeted by the housekeeper upon arrival to a very clean property and welcome basket of goodies and emergency food. The apartment was exactly as the photos project, very spacious and so well equipped for a self catering holiday. It's not often you find a holiday apartment so equipped in the kitchen to be able to prepare any type of meal including a gas bbq and have a dishwasher and washing machine was also very convenient. We loved the having a ground floor garden flat where you could view the communal grounds and pool from your own patio. The infinity pool was an excellent size around 16 metres in length so you can swim lengths and despite being July it was quiet and there was always an opportunity to swim alone in the pool! The supermarket was just next door and the new Italian restaurant Bellavita was excellent for pizzas, steak and fish dishes but a 20 min walk. I do recommend a car as there aren't many restaurants walking distance and the beach was really a 30 minute walk which was very difficult for 3yrs old. Gale is a very quiet resort and would benefit from a bar for the evening and a few more restaurants. When we hired the car we were able to explore the Algarve and visit many beautiful beaches. A local beach and an excellent fish restaurant on the beach please go to Evaristo beach and restaurant and also for cocktails at 7pm on the beach bar. You will have to book for the evening no matter what time of year! Also recommend Quinta Saudade in the village behind Gale for horse riding. For an hour and half at 35 euro through the countryside and gallop on the beach, it's well worth the experience. Albufiera is only a 15 minute drive with plenty of nightlife and restaurants. Gale shopping complex on N125 may be worth a visit. The golden triangle is interesting to see the beautiful villas and Villamoura marina. Slide & Splash is great for kids and also Zoo marine and Aqualand are very close by. Thank you Pedro and we may visit again soon!

Appartement très agréable

Nous avons apprécié le cours de tennis et la piscine, résidence très calme et bien placée pour visiter l'Algarve. Appartement très spacieux et terrasse très grande.

Casa de férias adorável

Casa adorável, como tudo o que é preciso! Acesso directo à piscina, possibilidade de fazer churrasco na varanda traseira, a 10min a pé de praias com café e restaurantes à volta bem como supermercados a 5min de carro. As crianças adoraram esta semana, e os adultos também!!

Férias de sonho

A casa tem tudo que se precisa para umas férias maravilhosas. Uma casa grande, com todos os utensílios de cozinha, as divisórias muito espaçosas, um berço para a bebé e uma cama para o menino mais velho, perfeito :D todos os quartos com wc e ainda uma terceira casa de banho. Uma piscina enorme, com duas pequenas para as crianças, a minha bebe adorou! Piscina sem cloro, com sal, muito limpa e bem tratada. O alpendre é maravilhoso, fizemos vários refeições lá, uma vista ótima para a piscina e um toldo que fez a diferença sempre que o sol entrava, ficamos com uma sombra muito agradável. Fomos todos os dias a pé para a praia, mesmo com duas crianças, o trajeto é muito bom, sempre plano, demorávamos apenas 10 min. O acesso à praia é fantástico, nada de degraus, nem descidas/subidas. Super plano! A praia é simplesmente maravilhosa. Com umas rochas lindas onde os miúdos adoravam brincar. Existem supermercados à volta, tudo que é necessário está pertinho. Não há confusão noturna, zona calma, ideal para quem tem crianças. O churrasco na varanda da cozinha fez as delícias do meu marido, comemos muito peixe na brasa ;) O Sr. Pedro sempre muito atencioso e a d. Alzira um amor ;) senti-mo-nos em casa. Aconselho a 100%. Um condomínio muito bem cuidado e muito calmo. Obrigada e até breve :D cumprimentos da família Rocha e Teixeira *

Beautiful apartment in peaceful setting

We were a party of 4 adults and 1 infant that stayed in the apartment for 8 nights at the end of September. We were met by the housekeeper who very kindly agreed to come on a Sunday and gave us a short tour and made sure we were happy before leaving us to our holiday. The apartment itself was very beautiful, spotlessly clean and extremely well equipped. We were provided with a travel cot and the beds were comfortable and there was more than enough room for our party. Being all on one ground floor level it was ideal for our 1 year old granddaughter to toddle around and the lovely terrace provided additional space for relaxation. The only improvement I would suggest would be the availability of a high chair for families with young children. We found some lovely restaurants within walking distance including Bella vita and O Amigo Tapas restaurant (booking recommended). Would also recommend the Planet Fusion bar for beers and football. All in all we had a great holiday and I would highly recommend this apartment and the host who was very helpful in accommodating us outside of the usual check in days.

Rien à dire sur l’appartement, la localisation, et la résidence, tout est vraiment parfait. La personne qui nous a reçue est au top! Seuls petits hics: le bruit de la porte d’entrée dans la résidence, et le fait qu’il n’y ait pas de canapé convertible dans le salon

Muito bom para férias em família

Apartamento muito bem equipado, com uma varanda muito agradável com vista para o jardim e piscina, com acesso direto à piscina e ótima exposição solar, inserido num condomínio bastante reservado. Bastante oferta de restaurantes em que dá para ir a pé e supermecado também muito próximo. Ótimo para férias em família.

Apartamento espaçoso e muito bem equipado. Relativamente bem localizado. Excelente para famílias com crianças. Falhou apenas poder ter uma pequena limpeza a meio da semana ( não existia disponível uma vassoura para varrer o chão). Recomendo. A repetir.

Toller Urlaub trotz Corona

Trotz Corona hatten wir einen wunderschönen Urlaub mit der ganzen Familie in Galé an der Algarve. Die Kommunikation vor unserer Reise war unproblematisch und wir bekamen viele hilfreiche Tips, worauf wir in Protugal aktuell achten müssen. Die Wohnung ist genau wie die Anlage sehr gepflegt. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Der Garten ist sehr schön angelegt und der Pool war sauber und fast immer frei. Der Ort Galé ist sehr gepflegt. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, sehr gute Restaurants und der kinderfreundliche Strand sind fußläufig zu erreichen. Der Strand ist extrem weitläufig, so dass man mit den Abstandsregeln überhaupt keine Probleme hat. Die Coronaregeln an der Algarve sind nachvollziehbar aber nicht übertrieben, so dass man einen entspannten Urlaub verbringen kann. Während unseres Aufenthaltes waren Ort und Strand weder überfüllt noch menschenleer. Das war sehr angenehm. Von der Wohnung aus haben wir zahlreiche Ausflüge (Aqua Park, Westküste, Kanutour zur Benagil-Höhle und Ilha do Farol bei Faro) unternommen. Die Lage ist hierfür perfekt, da man ungefähr in der Mitte der Algarve wohnt und nach Westen und Osten zahlreiche Ziele schnell erreichen kann.

While we had a couple issues they we sorted very quickly by caretaker who was also very friendly Criticism Beds most uncomfortable Lacking in cups/saucers and most important to U.K. Visitors a tea pot and coffee pot!! Would visit O'Monte again sometime

Wow! Perfect apartment, beautiful complex, great location 5 stars

I can’t recommend this apartment highly enough, the photos really don’t do it justice.... it’s huge! The housekeeper was so helpful, brought us extra towels & checked on us midweek. We’ll definitely be back!!!

Óptima estadia

Como nas fotos, adoramos o pátio onde passamos bons momentos durante às refeições. Bem equipada com dois churrascos, um a gás e outro a carvão. Piscina calma sem confusão, ambiente familiar. Único senão a internet ser lenta, mas nem estava a contar com a net, considerei um plus. A repetir. Recomendo.

Apartamento perfeito para umas férias tranquilas

Tudo perfeito! Apartamento enorme, com muita luz, bem decorado. Cozinha super equipada, tem tudo não falta mesmo nada. Um terraço espaçoso perfeito para umas patuscadas mas também para descansar. A piscina é espetacular, com água super bem tratada. O casal que nos recebeu, D. Alzira e o marido, sempre prestáveis. Sem duvida um apartamento que se recomenda vivamente. Há 13 anos que faço férias nesta zona, sempre em casas diferentes, mas agora encontrei a "minha" casa, espero voltar no próximo ano. Margarida Neiva

Una casa para disfrutar

La casa no desmerece en nada a las fotografías, Es una casa bonita, amplia, luminosa y limpia. La cocina está completísima, con todo tipo de utensilios para cocinar a gusto. El salón es muy bonito y cómodo, con una gran mesa. El porche que da a la piscina es muy agradable, nosotros lo disfrutamos mucho. La piscina es grande y permite nadar a gusto. El ambiente es muy tranquilo y relajante. Mis hijos estuvieron encantados con la pista de tenis. Más que en una casa de alquiler te sientes como un invitado, a lo que también contribuye la amabilidad de Pedro, que desde el principio nos hizo fácil nuestra llegada un poco improvisada. Las personas que nos recibieron Alzira y su marido eran también encantadoras,( no deja de sorprenderme la exquisita amabilidad portuguesa) La zona es ideal para visitar playas y calas. Una casa para apuntar en la agenda.

Beautiful, practical and relaxing

We loved this place. The apartment is incredibly spacious and well equipped with anything you might need. We really enjoyed being able to cook and eat at home; so much more relaxing than a hotel. We also had a lovely welcome basket with helpful bits (including cake and wine!) The internet and UK TV channels (amongst others) also helped to make us feel at home. The complex was peaceful and it was great to be able to sit on our veranda and feel we were next to the pool but still had our privacy. The beach is around 10 minutes walk with a few restaurants there as well. The beach was clean and wasn't overcrowded (although we visited out of season so not sure if that's the same all year round). We loved it. We would definitely recommend it and consider going back again.

Wonderful and relaxing

We stayed at this apartment in September having visited Gale 3 previous times and this is our favourite accommodation by far. Everything is spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated with a quality finish which really added to our stay. Communication with the owner before travelling was excellent and very helpful, ensuring we would have everything we needed for our 2 year old while away from home including a smart gas BBQ. We were greeted on arrival by a lovely couple who caretake for the owner and they work hard to keep the property looking lovely also visiting twice during our stay to clean and change sheets which was wonderful. The grounds are safe,quiet and beautiful and the position is well situated for the beaches and restaurants near by, all are an easy walk. The re-opening of the supermarket next door is a real bonus and in no way detracts from the peace of the complex making it a great option to stay with or without a car. We hope to return again next year and would not hesitate to recommend to anybody who appreciates tasteful, comfortable accommodation in a peaceful location with good access to attractions and facilities.

Lovely spacious apartment with v close pool

The apartment is lovely - spacious, clean and well maintained. It had everything we needed and was well located for supermarkets, beach and restaurants. The gardens are nice and private and well looked after and the pool is a good size and very close to the apartment. A local map and information pack would be helpful but there is WiFi in the apartment so we used this to find what we needed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend the apartment.

Very nice apartment

This is a lovely apartment on a corner plot. Very well equipped and spotlessly clean. The pool and gardens are also in immaculate condition. The apartment is very central-next to a supermarket and café/cake shop.. There are many restaurants and bars within walking distance. Would recommend Sao Domingos and O Girosol. The beaches are also only a few minutes walk away. Maybe for anyone who has not stayed there before-an information pack would be useful. Having holidayed for years in this part of the Algarve we would not hesitate to recommend this apartment and complex.
