Heart of Waikiki

Excellent apartment building in the heart of Waikiki. Shopping, restaurants and the beach are all easily accessible. Apartment is perfectly comfortable with million dollar view of Diamond Head, shoreline and the mountains. The Royal Kuhio is quiet and very secure. You can’t ask for a better place to stay in my opinion.

Nice place but….

The location is great; close to everything, and the view was also great. But overall, The place was okay; not as clean as I had expected, and there were coach roaches came out at night.

Far exceeded my expectations... Highly recommended!

Having stayed at the Royal Kuhio many times before I can speak from experience that you never quite know what you are going to get as each owner controls their own environment. This unit is far and away the nicest I’ve seen there and likely the best in the building. If you are looking for a quiet and relaxing stay in a modern and clean environment this is the place for you. The car park situation is unique at RK in that every owner has their own spot(s) and they are randomly distributed throughout the garage. This unit’s spot is ideal and makes for easy in and out should you do any driving. While not directly facing the ocean, the balcony view of Diamond Head and the ocean is excellent and satisfies your need to take in the Hawaiian landscape while at home. I found this floor of the building to be quiet for the most part with little evidence of any neighbor activity. Anything you might need is within easy walking distance and there is a well-stocked ABC store within a 2-3 minute walk. This building’s central location means that most of Waikiki including the beach is accessible within about a 10 minute walk. Finally, the owner has on-site representation meaning that should you have any issues there is somebody literally in the same building able to assist. Overall A++ and highly recommended for your Waikiki/Honolulu visit. I will be back.

Working in paradise

We stayed in this unit for 6 weeks. It was very comfortable and began to feel like home. A great location to walk to anything you want or need. High enough to be above the city noise and offer spectacular views of the beach, Diamond Head and the surrounding mountains. Sunrise was a treat everyday! Martin was great to work with and very responsive and helpful. The unit is very roomy and is stock with all you will need. Would highly recommend it.

Location, Location, Location

The location was incredible!!! The condo was fully renovated and looked as nice as the photos. The views were outstanding day and night. Martin the property manager was very easy to work with and the entire process of booking, checking in and checking out was perfect. The penthouse gated parking spot was extra large and private with easy access. I would highly recommend this property.

良かった所 ●ロケーションワイキキの真ん中にあるのでとても便利です。 ●部屋の広さ家族四人で十分残念だった所 ●部屋の中テレビの設置位置がやたら高い。子供が見るには首が疲れる。長期滞在には向かない。マスターベットにある浴室から異臭がする。 ●サイト掲載内容プール工事期間に誤りがあり、現地に行ったら未だプール工事をしていて、プールありきで予約したのに… コロナが流行り始め、予定より前倒しで帰国。他サイトは割引対応に応じてくれるが、このサイトは対応無し。他サイトで予約すれば良かった。また、こちらの物件はアーリーチェックインは有料です。1ヶ月滞在でもです。他物件は空いていれば無料でアーリーチェックインがあるので、子供がいる家族には優しくないかなーよく探した方が良いです。オーナーが異なるだけで同じ建物で別部屋で対応全然違います。

Great stay!

We enjoyed the view, kept watching the activity below. The condo was very nice and had plenty of room for the four of us. The beds were comfortable and we were provided with several extras, like beach chairs, umbrellas, etc. The washer and dryer were also very nice to have. There are a few maintenance issues that need to be attended to. (Window in 2nd bedroom is hard to open and close; dishwasher is not screwed in; and a couple of chairs need to be repaired.) We also would have appreciated some kleenex and more toilet paper, more chairs on the Lania, and some seasonings in the kitchen. Overall, it was a nice condo and we had a great time!

Beautiful!!!!

This was our second trip to Oahu and I was extremely happy with this condo. To start, I just want to say it is all about the location and the view. I could have sat on the lanai and been happy. This condo is within walking distance to the Food Pantry { grocery store}, restaurants, Waikiki Beach, the Zoo, the Aquarium, beach rental equipment, water activities such as surfing, snorkeling, scuba. There is a bus stop right in front that can take you just about anywhere else you want to go. The check-in and check- out process was extremely easy. The directions were sent to us by e-mail a couple of week before we went and they were easy to follow. Just watch the one way streets upon arrival. The parking space was great and also easy to navigate. I saw some complaints about operating the TV and lights. We had no problems. Everything is very organized, and explained well in the manual provided. The beds in the bedrooms were comfortable, but would recommend smaller adults or children for the couch. We had plenty of bedding, pillows, towels, beach towels for our family of 6 adults. The only disappointment I can think of is that the pool and rec area was closed, but who needs a pool when you have the ocean just a short walk away. Thank you for the excellent adventure!!!!

Amazing Views

This unit was as nice as the pictures indicate. Bedrooms and bathrooms were great. The lanai’s with the incredible view was the best part. Just a short walk to Waikiki Beach. Would definitely stay here again.

Great condo, great location for Waikiki stay

We had a great time staying here. The location was great- right in the heart of Waikiki area. Great for walking around Waikiki. The condo was very nice- with amazing views of Diamond head and modern finishes. We really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it to anyone else looking for a nice place to stay in Waikiki area.

Plan n photos showed 3beds + a roll out. Result 3 nights agony on sofa bed not suitable for adults

Very good position central to Waikiki. No intercom or phone so impossible to call the unit if you arrived there with no key and the one in the box was used/ out. Big roller window door came off its hinge couldn’t get to our stuff on the balcony till next day. Only Brad was contactable in Hi. Did well to help us with door plus show us how the tv ran despite notes. Not enough plates cutlery for 7 adults, plus only small table n 4dining chairs?!. Great view but could not get any lights on in the lounge/ kitchen till one man bumped a switch n pushed it on. Door latch missing a screw made door locking difficult especially for our older guests.

... the VIEW!

Beautiful condo on 32 floor (of 38 floors, I believe) with a breathtaking view of ocean, downtown Honolulu and Diamond Head. Quiet building only blocks away from shopping, fantastic restaurants and Waikiki beach! We still rented a car for excursions (parking space included, very handy) but the condo is centrally located. Some peculiar design choices inside left me scratching my head, but everything was functional and the view was EVERYTHING.

Everything was absolutely perfect and so much fun!

First time to Hawaii and it was the best! Martin's home was very nice, comfortable, very clean and contained all of the conveniences someone would have at their own home. The walk to Waikiki beach took about 5 minutes if that from the condo. I would most definitely stay here again. And, I am getting the itch to bring my family to Hawaii again next year or sooner!!
