Rufe House ligger 5 miles från Stowe Village på 2 hektar omgiven av jordbruksmark + ett lugnt skogsområde. Trevligt beläget på en privat enhet utan trafik. Höghastighetsinternet med WiFi finns.

Våra sovrum konfiguration med sovrum och badrum på första våningen och tre andra våningen sovrum och ett badrum med dubbla fåfänga är perfekt för små grupper eller större grupper, familjesammankomster, återföreningar + bröllopsgrupper!
Våra 4 sovrum / två bad konfiguration kan bekvämt rymma 12 vuxna med ytterligare enkelsängar för barn.
Den första våningen sovrummet har en queen size-säng och en uppsättning våningssängar.
Två sovrum på andra våningen har en dubbelsäng och en enkelsäng. Den tredje andra våningen sovrummet har en queen size-säng och en våningssäng.

Det finns ett badrum och tvättstuga på första våningen. Ett andra bad med dubbel fåfänga är på andra våningen.

Koppla av bredvid eldstaden i vårt vardagsrum med katedralen tak, spelbord och synliga bjälkar. Trappan till andra våningen är öppen med en andra våningen balkong gångväg som har utsikt över vardagsrummet. Nya läder soffor och en 50 "TV komplett vardagsrummet.

Första våningen har en öppen planlösning med välutrustat kök med körsbär, kakelgolv. Vår matbord kan bekvämt sitta alla. Matsalen öppnar för en 30 fot däck och privat gård med skogsutsikt. Under de varmare månaderna kompletterar ett uteserveringsbord, stolar och Weber Gasgrill vårt däck. Weber Gasgrill finns också på däck under vintermånaderna också.

Alla bekvämligheter i hemmet är utrustade med höghastighetsinternet + WiFi, luftkonditionering, tvättmaskin + torktumlare, sängkläder, rikliga handdukar, ved + eldstuga för vardagsrummet öppen spis, fullt utrustat kök, pappersprodukter, rengöringsmedel, kryddor, kryddor etc. För din bekvämlighet staplas ved + spjäll i källaren. Det finns också en arbetsbänk i källaren för att ställa in skidor / cyklar

Både badrum och kök har nyligen renoverats med egna skåp, kakelgolv och granit.

Family Reunion weekend

Great location and accommodations for our group of adults, teens, and an infant to access family reunion events in Morristown, Stowe and Elmore State Park. The house is well set up for the group to enjoy meals together at the large family table and outside deck with well-stocked kitchen supplies and linens. Everything was very clean and we appreciated all the information provided for local activities!

Perfect for a Stowe Weekend

This is a great property if you’re looking to ski at Stowe. The kitchen was particularly impressive because it was so well equipped. We had plenty of space, everything was very clean, and just as we had expected. We will definitely be back.

Winter trip

We take a family trip to ski every year and this location was great! Carolyn and Al were easy to contact and set us up with all the information for the local area. The location is great and we were able to get to Stowe Mt without any issues or a lot of travel time. We all slept confortably and the big kitchen table allowed us to all eat and enjoy our company. Carolyn and Al were very attentive and a joy! We would definitely return!

Thanksgiving near Stowe

Three generations of our extended family stayed and enjoyed being surrounded by trees and rural quiet. We prepared a full Thanksgiving meal in the well-appointed kitchen, sitting 10 (some stayed at another property) around the big kitchen table and played games beside a fire in the brink fireplace as snow fell and blanketed the trees and farm fields nearby. The hosts were easy to contact and went out of their way to be sure we had everything we needed.

Amazing house!

We had an amazing time at this property -- so much space for our large group, very cozy feel, and well located near Stowe. Can't recommend renting enough! We will definitely be back!

Great location

This house is in a beautiful location not far from Stowe. It has plenty of room for a large group. The owners are very helpful with information about the area and things to see and do. I have no major complains and would rent again.

A Great Place to Stay

We were very happy with our stay at this home. There were eight of us (brother, sisters and spouses) that met here to enjoy each other’s company and to explore Vermont’s Fall foliage and sites. The couple we rented this home from were very kind and helpful, answering questions, and providing recommendations of places to eat and visit. The accommodations inside and out were perfect for us. The house was comfortable and well kept. We especially appreciated the trestle table where we could all sit together to eat, drink and visit. The area outside was surrounded with trees that provided beauty and privacy. We are very pleased with the choice of this property.

Beautiful setting

We loved staying at this beautiful and cozy home in the fall surrounded by nature. We were just a close drive to Stowe and everything Stowe has to offer. Carolyn was responsive to our questions and provided lots of information about nearby activities and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay. The house was perfect. Quiet, super clean, well stocked kitchen and beds were very comfortable. I would highly recommend the Rufe House! Close to Stowe but away from all the hubbub!

Fun watching the eclipse

We were three couples who came to the area to see the solar eclipse. We sat right on the deck and were able to relax comfortably with our special glasses and experience the totality. The house was very comfortable for all of us. We enjoyed eating at two local restaurants, and had a wonderful visit to Sticky's Maple Syrup House.

Perfect house

Great location about 20-25min from the mountain. Slept/housed our group perfectly without any issues and plenty of room! Great communication with owner. Clear directions to house. Very clean and fully operational! would definitely stay again. quick drive into town and nearby restaurants! would definitely stay again if available!!

Stowe Weekend Getaway

We stayed at the Rufe House for 2 nights and had an amazing experience! Everything was exactly as described, very neat and clean! It was awesome to be able to use the fireplace with wood provided by the owners. There was plenty of room for all of us to gather around the fire to relax and read. We loved playing games at the large dining table in the kitchen. And it was an easy drive into the center of Stowe to go to restaurants and shopping. Communication with the owners was very easy and they provided tons of information about the area and their property which made us feel very comfortable! I would highly recommend staying at the Rufe House and hope to visit again soon!

Year 2 At The Rufe Home

Carolyn & Al’s home is a great home to visit Vermont with your family. This is the second year that we have rented this wonderful home as it offers everything. The home is clean and has a great layout. The bedrooms were perfect for the adults and grand children. The kitchen is great for everyone to gather at the beginning and end of the day as the kitchen table accommodated all of us at one time. The kitchen has all new appliances and has everything that is needed to cook meals at home. The living room is a great place to relax in front of the fire and TV at the end of each day, with plenty of firewood stacked in the basement. We have been coming up to Stowe for over 30 years for downhill at Stowe & XC/snowshoeing at Trapp. We used to stay in town to be near everything. We are happy that we ventured outside a little bit to Morristown. We were still close to everything we always did but without being in the crowds. The Rufe home is perfectly situated to go to both Trapp and Stowe (and Bolton, etc.). The Hannafords in Morristown is very close and the same Black Cap coffee shop is found in Stowe is right on Main street Morristown with a great pizza place right next door (Pizza on Main). We are looking at a summer/fall trip to ride the 93 mile Lamoille Valley Rail Trail. The Rufe home is a perfect place to stay for this adventure as it is located only a few miles away. Returning to a VRBO is really the best review. We returned once with plans for more.

Stowe getaway

We really loved this place! One of my all time favorites. When we were booking this one stood out w consistent excellent reviews. Highlights - plenty of space, comfortable bedrooms and beds, well stocked kitchen and cozy living room w fireplace. The living room was so comfortable to hang out in. Carolyn was super easy to communicate w and very responsive. It’s clear that she and Al love the area, and want only the very best for their guests. Would stay again in a heartbeat!

Wonderful House!

We had a great stay at this house. It is super clean, well stocked, clear instructions, and organized. It is the cleanest rental we’ve ever stayed in, which is high on our priority list. The owners are very helpful, and extremely responsive. We had 9 people and the house size fit our group perfectly. We would definitely stay there again if we’re in the area. Awesome all around experience.

Refuge for tired cyclists

The property was great for our large group of cyclists. Lots of room to sleep, well appointed kitchen and quiet/safe location. There is nowhere to safely store bicycles, but we knew this before coming. The area is very quiet and safe, so it wasn't a concern. Carolyn was great to deal with, even offering an early check-in. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Dad vacation

Great location house and yard. This was our second year in a row renting this house. Carolyn and Al have a lot of information to assist whatever your interests are. They were also proactive in passing on information about how the flooding impacted the area which alleviated any concerns we had heading up. Definitely plan to be back soon!
