Smugglers Notch Àr rankad som den största utvÀg för Ski Magazine. Detta Àr en av anledningarna till att vi valde att bygga vÄrt fritidshus intill berget. I sjÀlva verket Àr vÄrt hus faktiskt pÄ stigkartan och du kan gÄ till allt vid Smuggs. VÄrt Àr, möjligen, den nÀrmaste privata hem hyra av Smugglers Notch resort.
VÄrt lÀge Àr inte bara perfekt, vÄrt hus Àr bara nÄgra Är gammalt!

Huset har en öppen planlösning med bÀnkskivor i granit i köket med björkskÄp. Familjerummet har en eldstad, en 50-tums TV och skinnsoffa, kÀrleksstol och enkelstol (de Àr sÄ mysiga att det Àr svÄrt att inte somna efter en bra dag pÄ berget).
Tillagd i oktober 2019 Àr ett teater / spelrum i kÀllaren. Den har en 75 tums TV, skinnsoffor, barer med hög topp, airhockey, foosboll och en darttavla. VÀnligen ta med dina egna dart om du vill spela. LjudfÀltet pÄ TV: n Àr ocksÄ Bluetoothklart sÄ det Àr enkelt att stÀlla in telefonen sÄ att du lyssnar pÄ din favoritmusik medan du spelar spel och kopplar av med nÄgra cocktails.
Den totala kvadratmeter Àr cirka 2500. Sovrummet pÄ första vÄningen har en queen size-sÀng. Den övervÄningen har ocksÄ en queen size-sÀng. Det övre vÄningen vÄningssalen har 3 vÄningssÀngar, och det andra rummet har en vÄningssÀng med en futon pÄ botten. Detta ger bekvÀm sömn för upp till 10 personer.

I slutet av dagen kan du njuta av att titta pÄ skidspÄren pÄ Madonna Mountain frÄn verandan.
Och FIREWORKS! AnlÀggningen har ett fantastiskt fyrverkeri varje torsdag. Du har en spektakulÀr utsikt direkt frÄn verandan. Barnen kommer att Àlska det!

Sommaren Àr ocksÄ bra! Du kan dra nytta av bad, rolig zon, zip-foder och andra aktiviteter till en brÄkdel av kostnaden för att bo pÄ orten och du kan fortfarande gÄ till nÀstan allt.
Andra aktiviteter utanför berget inkluderar ridning, fiske, kajakpaddling, cykling, vandring och fiske. Det finns nÄgra bra vin och sprit som smakar riktigt i nÀrheten ocksÄ.

Wonderful stay

Our family very much enjoyed our stay at this home. The proximity to the mountain is ideal and the home was very spacious. It was also equipped with everything that we needed and the owner was extremely responsive.. would happily stay again anytime! Thanks, Jim!

Jim’s house was perfect for our group of friends who were in town for a wedding. The kitchen was well stocked with spices, oils and all the pots/pans we could need to make a big breakfast. Even though it was really hot, the window air conditioners worked great to keep us comfortable. The basement game/movie space was perfect for those who wanted to stay up later while the door at the top of the stairs kept all the noise away from the bedrooms. I would definitely book again!

Location was awesome with a view of the trails... spent 4 days with two other families.., plenty of room and had everything we needed. Owner was very helpful and answered any questions we had... Will be back...

Wonderful Smuggs stay!

We had the best time at the red house! It was very comfortable. Plenty of room for everyone!! The bunk room was very cool and all the kids really enjoyed staying together. We loved how close it was to the mountain just a very short drive and parking was really easy during the week.fireworks on Thursday night was a highlight as well as movie night in the basement! All in all very cool trip

Red Smuggs House gets all Gold Stars!

The Red Smuggs House is a great property to vacation at
 the unit, location, and property are are better than advertised. The unit is incredibly spacious. And the communication and care offered so willingly by the property owner and property management team is wonderful! This is a must stay property.

The property was excellent for our family of 10 Christmas ski trip. The house is nice and clean with an abundance of beds and endless entertainment for the kids/teens. Jim was very accommodating and attentive and provided an abundance of information. Vacation success!!

Clear Communication and Great Location

This is a perfect spot for a group to stay right across the street from Smugs. It's an easy drive to restaurants in the area and a well kept up house. Communication was easy throughout the process.

Great house, great location!

We loved our stay at this house! There was enough space for our group of 10. The owner was quick to respond to any questions we had. The location was perfect, so close to Smugglers Notch. Most of us walked to the mountain (we used one car to drive our skis over). Overall a really great stay!

Beautiful Home

Our family enjoyed the weekend stay. The home was beautiful. Very clean, and so many home accessories available. Making our stay that much easier. Easy access as well for entrance when we arrived. The owner was very kind and very helpful. Providing area things to do as well as checking in on us. Would highly recommend this place.

Yearly family ski trip

The house is beautiful tucked away across the street from the entrance to Smugglers Notch. Spacious and cozy with an awesome game room in the nicely finished basement. We had a great week together! Lots of skiing and just hanging out at night relaxing.

It’s beautiful in the summer, too!

Our group had two families: 4 adults, 4 girls, and a baby. The space accommodated us wonderfully with room to spare. We had a lovely stay. The house was exactly what we expected, and the location was central to all the activities we wanted to do with our families: hiking, mini golf, and breweries. It also didn’t take too long to get to Burlington for a day trip.

Beautiful mountain home

A beautifully furnished mountain retreat. We stayed for a week to enjoy the hiking, biking and many other nature activities. The house was great to come back to. We were able to cook our meals and enjoy the ample space. The basement was an added bonus to watch a movie or play games. The owner was extremely nice and made sure we had everything we needed.

Great house - great location

Everything was perfect for our stay. The house itself was great. We found the house to be very comfortable and the whole family had a great stay. The house is also located perfectly for enjoying the Jeffersonville/Smuggs area for summertime activities. We visit family in the area every year and will definitely return to this home. The owner reached out to make sure everything was going well for our stay shortly after we arrived, which shows how much they care about their home and their visitors.

Having family close to Smugglers Notch Resort introduced us to this great family vacation spot. We have been vacationing there for well over twenty years. We often thought how wonderful it would be to have our own vacation home in this beautiful area.

For years we searched for just the right spot as close to the mountain as possible. We finally found an older house in severe disrepair and we jumped on it. It was in such disrepair that we needed to start from scratch. We decided to donate our house to the Cambridge fire department. They used it for training exercises and then burned it to the ground on a cold snowy day in March 2013. It was a magnificent experience that we will never forget. We will always be grateful to the fire squad and we think they appreciated the opportunity as well.

We started building immediately and tried to consider everything that a large group or multiple families would appreciate. We hope that you enjoyed our story and take the opportunity to visit our custom home and take advantage of the many wonderful things that Smugglers Notch and Vermont have to offer.

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

We have family across the country and frequently look for vacations rentals that accommodate two families. We built our home with that in mind and hopefully you will appreciate our approach too.
We love Smuggs and everything the area has to offer. Great skiing, hiking, fishing, swimming, biking, kayaking or simply relaxing are just some of the great things you can do right out the front door.
