Rumsey Retreat was perfect! It was spacious and clean. The hosts went above and beyond to take care of us. Perfect location to walk anywhere in town. It was so fun to see deer in the yard most mornings. It is a family friendly place & we felt very safe at this location & hope to be back again!

The house was clean and had everything we needed. The location and proximity to downtown were perfect. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again.

The house was clean and had spacious living area. When we stayed, it was very hot. The host was able to provide an additional portable ac unit which helped keep the rooms all cooler for easier and more comfortable sleeping. Very easy to work with host which made our stay pleasant.

Perfect home perfect location!!

Everything was perfect from the check in to check out! Great house with plenty of space to spread out;) clean, family friendly, close enough to walk everywhere in Cody!! Definitely give it a 5 star rating

Charming House

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this house. It was just a block off the Main Street so everything was convenient and the Buffalo Museum was a short walk away. The pictures of the house accurately reflect the condition of the home and the owners were very pleasant to work with.

Lovely house in great location

We really enjoyed our short stay at this property. It has been tastefully refurbished and was very clean, comfortable and well-equipped. The location is fantastic - less than 5 minutes' walk to the centre of the main street (the Irma Hotel) but on a quiet street. We appreciated the fact that lots of local information was provided in the house - something we didn't find in most of the other places we stayed on our trip. Would highly recommend.

The property was clean, and in a good location. A couple of drawbacks: The upstairs bathroom has a tub only; no shower. Air conditioning is present but in the form of portable units instead of permanent. The air conditioning units only served the living room and the upstairs bedroom with the twin beds. For our trip in July, the two other bedrooms were hot.

Cody Stay

Our last 2 days of visiting Glacier and Yellowstone were spent in Cody. Home was so conveniently located to explore and experience historic surroundings and attractions like Irmas, Buffalo Bill Cody and the Old Time Museum along with shops to explore. Home was clean and very well maintained. When we accidently loced ourselves out at a secondary door the owner promptly arrived to assist. Home has everything you need to enjoy on your vacation or travels.

Fantastic! Amazing! Wonderful!

I cannot praise this home and its owner enough. From easy check in to easy check out our week rental went on without any issues. The house was nicely set up including the basket of small snacks on the table that we enjoyed after a full day of travel. The linens were clean and there were extra in the closet. Everything was clean, well decorated, and easy to use. The backyard was adorable with table, chairs, grill and a fire pit area. Walking distance to shops, restaurants, site-seeing tours. Absolutely fabulous. Highly recommend. Thanks so much for making this part of our trip easy.

Great Location

This home is so close to town, everywhere we went we walked. We stayed during the Fourth of July so parking would have been hard to find. We also walked to The Buffalo Bill museum and park.

Cute house in a great spot!

This cute house is in the main drag of Cody and is in walking distance of lots of cool restaurants and shops. The home is a bit quirky in that the downstairs room which I would call the master is the smallest and has a tiny bathroom. Both of our big suitcases would not fit open in the room on the floor. The beds are very comfortable. The home has 2 A/C window units, 1 covering the entire downstairs and 1 covering the entire upstairs. The house was hot because it was 90+ in Cody while we were there. It could probably use units in both upstairs bedrooms and the downstairs bedroom as well. The home also has no “house book” with explanations or recommendations for restaurants or cool things to do. I also think that having to strip the beds and towels and take out every piece of trash in the home is a bit excessive, we pay a cleaning fee for that.

Comfortable Home

Pros: The home was great and our family felt at home there. The place was very clean and the location was within walking distance to downtown shops and restaurants. Great family space on the main floor for games and to be together. Cons: The upstairs double bed was very hard (and I like firm beds), not sure about the rest of the beds. The wifi was not great, could not even get Netflix to play properly. May not be just this house, may be the whole town, but not sure. Overall, we would rent here again if we were in Cody again.

Great Stay!

The home was great and suited our family perfectly. We just needed a quick getaway before school started and it was just what we needed. Close to downtown attractions, shops and eateries. We will stay again !

Great location!

This place is excellent for a large group of 6. Convenient to walk to many places in Cody. Host was gracious and communicated well with us. The only thing that could have been better is that some things could have been stocked better. Instruction book could be updated as some things weren't where they were supposed to be, for example the instruction booklet for electronics, could use some measuring cups too! Also it does get very hot upstairs in one of the bedrooms. An AC unit was in one but not the other, gets very hot even with the window open at night and a fan going.. But we did enjoy our stay and would do it again.

Great Location

Nice house 1 block off the main street. Can walk to restaurants, ice cream, book store, Irma hotel, museum and river rafting. Saw bunnies and deer in the back yard.

Wonderful house and quiet neighborhood

Very nice. However, glad we came late in the summer when it wasn't too warm as I did not notice in the property ad that there was no air conditioning. Recommend this be made very clear in the ad (or even better add air conditioning to the home). One other recommendation is to add a grab bar in the downstairs bath/shower. Otherwise, house was exactly as shown and very nice. Would stay again.

Great house in Cody!

Loved this house! It is so cute and decorated so pretty - cozy and comfy but still plenty of space for our group of 5, and well stocked. This location is perfect and an easy walk to everything in downtown Cody (and I don’t like to walk far!). We used Cody as a break between the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone parts of our trip and took advantage of the great local activities. Kambrie (owner) does a great job of checking in and making sure you have everything you need. Would definitely recommend!

A great house and location

We really loved our stay in Cody. This house is so cute, clean, and in the perfect spot to walk to attractions. Big kitchen and lots of table space to have family dinner. We had cool weather and were comfortable, but I do think it’s worth noting that there is no air conditioning on the upper level (we may have been hot up there if it wasn’t so cool outside). However, there are fans in each room. Everything else about this house was perfect, including the host who was very thoughtful and easy to work with. We even had 4 deer who lounged in the backyard each day and were so much fun to watch. We highly recommend this rental!
