Wonderful Stay

The view is exactly as shown online. The entire unit is thoughtfully equipped, especially the kitchen. Pool was never overcrowded and we always found a parking spot somewhere on the property. Close to restaurants, beaches.

Excellent stay in Kona

The apartment is beautiful. Outstanding view and tremendous pool. Location is great short walk to downtown and the beach where Morey invented his boogie board is right next door.

Awesome!

The condo was perfect for the two of us. It had everything we needed. The view was amazing. We saw whales every day! It was nice to be able to walk into town. The pool and hot tub was aldo a bonus.

Good stay

We enjoyed our stay, it was close to plenty of restaurants and shopping. It was nice to be able to park, and not have to pay for parking in the Kona area. It was nice to leave the door open and listen to the waves crashing all night. Loved the stay, and we would highly recommend it!

Perfect spot for two!

We had a great time! Air conditioner works like a champ! It’s the perfect walking distance to the downtown area and the owner communicated quickly and was so very gracious! We’ll be staying again!

Week in paradise

The view was breathtaking. Kona never disappoints. The location was key. Such a short walk to/from Huggos. We would walk over for dinner/drinks. Pictures and description were accurate. AC worked great during the day when it got hot then we left the door open so we could hear the ocean when we slept. Highly recommend!

What a wonderful time

This was our first visit to Hawaii and we couldnt have been in a better place to enjoy and explore. It was in such a perfect location to venture out on foot and see all the wonders of Kona. We loved eating at the Fish Hopper. The bed was comfy and loved our sunsets on the launi. Thanks so much and hope to return soon

Clean, well maintained modern property within walking distance of Downtown Kona. Only complaint came when I sent a picture of the ocean view. Snarky reply came back, “Can you be any closer to the ocean?”

Awesome condo in Kona with front row seats to the ocean.

This was the perfect place to round out our visit to the Big Island! We stayed here for our last 4 nights after touring around the rest of the island. The place is well-stocked for folks who want to do their own cooking for meals, but also within walking distance to a number of restaurants if eating out is preferred. We appreciated having the snorkel masks there to borrow-- they got plenty of use down at Two Step Beach at Honaunau Bay and nearby Kahalu'u Beach Park. The condo was very clean, quiet, and had an awesome view of the ocean. Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful condo! We hope to find you again next time we visit!

Leaking shower and disposal not repaired while we were there. Blender leaking as well. Single chair sunk down without adding a pillow underneath the cushion. Bed is small. The view is fanstatic with lovely sunset.

Kona 30th Anniversary

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kona Reef Condo. The condo was stocked with everything we needed. The selling point of booking it was the deck!! The deck overlooks the ocean, and having coffee daily, watching the sunrise and beverages later watching the sunset was amazing!! The condo is in a great location! Honl's Beach is next door; you are within walking distance of downtown. There is a parking spot available for your rental car. The pool/hot tub area is clean and well-maintained. It was a great place to make our base camp since there were SO many things to do on the big island. We loved our stay and would love to come back!!

Great oceanfront stay and walkable to Kona

My husband and I had a great time at this property. The check-in was seamless. The first thing that hits you when you walk in the door is the crashing ocean waves right off the lanai. Spectacular! We spent a lot of mornings and evenings on the lanai. We really appreciated the quiet surroundings of the complex while also being only a few minutes walk into town. Everything you need is there in the kitchen to make meals and and then enjoy them while watching the sunset. The bed was comfortable and shower was roomy. Parking was easy, and the A/C was much appreciated when it got a little toasty during the day. Highly recommend and would most definitely stay again. Mahalo!

Great location and ocean views

This condo is perfect for 2. Clean and quiet. Great views of the ocean. Oceanfront so you can hear the waves from the lanai. Beautiful sunsets. You won’t be disappointed. Condo has everything you need. Fully stocked kitchen and washer and dryer in the unit was convenient. Even has binoculars to view all the ocean activities from the lanai. If you have a problem climbing stairs, there’s 5 steps up to the condo front door. Couldn’t ask for more in a condo. I’ll be back.

Clean, quiet, comfy condo, with lovely sunsets from the lanai. Condo had all the equipment for meal preparation and beach activities. This was our 3rd time renting in the Kona area, first time renting this close to Kona village. It’s easily walkable to Kona village eateries and tourist shops in 5 mins or less. We always drove north to the big beach Hapuna for boogie boarding and playing in the surf, so I can’t comment on the nearby beaches other than they are much smaller and more crowded. Great unit, great location

We have stayed at the Kona Reef on 3 different occasions. We like the location of the property since it is close to town and an easy walk. The ocean view from this unit is terrific. Out of the 3 units we have stayed in all of which were ocean font units we liked this unit the most. Stephanie was very quick to respond to questions we had prior to getting to the island and was very prompt to respond to some very minor issues we had once there. The communication was great! The unit is nice with a very comfortable bed and an adequate amount of kitchen utensils to prepare meals. Overall we had a great experience and will be contacting Stephanie again in the near future for another stay.

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

Kona Reef Resort is THE oceanfront complex. It is just a short stroll to the downtown area. The oceanfront and adjacent beach offer many opportunities for sunbathing, swimming, snorkeling , surfing, visiting tide pools, spotting turtles and watching sunsets. From the lanai, you can spot dolphins, whales in season, cruise ships, paddlers and surfers. If that doesn't keep you busy, nearby Kona Village has many restaurants, shops a popular farmers' market, and art galleries.
